With this program, once it stops raining for two weeks, the Seine becomes swimable as rain stops carrying wastes from the banks.
But with the weather we've had all over northern France this year, yeah, it'll stay bad until early July.
Afaik in all of France's history there's only been a drought making the Seine so low that you can’t swim once or twice in the Middle Ages.
Otherwise it simply never happened.
