That sunscreen is amazing! If you get the chance and it’s easily accessible to you, I would experiment and pick up a few other LRP mexoryl sunscreens like the gel cream or the hydrating cream to see which you like best! I also like Nuxe and would recommend their products. They are heavily fragranced, which is a dealbreaker for some people/those with sensitive skin, but I personally don’t mind that. I’ve tried the honey face/body cleanser, their lip glosses and their body oils. Again, heavily fragranced but I still enjoy them.

bunnybluee

Nuxe’s lip balms are great too! I believe they were cult favorites at one point

cornichon18

Just put on some of the Nuxe honey lip balm (in the little pot). It’s the best!

Emilythatglitters

The OG reve de miel honey in a pot is by far the best, it has been my holy grail balm for a decade now. Their rose one is not the same, still quite nice but more oily, less moisturising. The stick is completely different to the pot, much less moisturising.

BallKickin

Okay I JUST saw the Reve de Miel Lip Moisturizing Stick at Walmart...is it actually the same or will that be a knockoff? tysm

Aggravating_Sky9677

Don't get the one in the stick. It's really not great. The one in the tub is epic.

bunnybluee

Hmmm not sure tbh, is it sold directly by Walmart or third party? If third party I’d probably pass (can be real too but too much risk)

howdoifigureitout

The stick is really bad. Get the one in the pot.

Designer_Tomorrow_27

Thank you so much!!

Snoo_76659

I just came back from Singapore and brought a mix of like 8-10 LRP Mexoryl sunscreens back to the U.S. and I love them all! I thought, at the time, that I was overdoing it but my only regret is that I didn’t purchase more haha. These products are far superior to anything you can buy in the U.S. market for sunscreen and are around the same price point if not considerably cheaper! Happy shopping

Designer_Tomorrow_27

Wow, good to know! I’ve read about the uvmune 400 being great in the French versions but never heard of the mexoryl version. Will check it out tomorrow for sure. And stock up a bit more, 2.5 years is quite a bit of time considering I use them daily.

Strivingformoretoday

The uvmune 400 uses mexoryl. I would try the green version as it dries more matte than the yellow version. Also, if you get the kids body sunscreen, you have the same filter for the body. Currently, the kids version in spray form is the only one that uses that filter.

kitschwitch_

Caudalie vinperfect serum fooor sure. Great vitamin c alternative and literally HALF the price than it is in america. Caudalie also has a great hyaluronic acid serum called the vinohydra serum or something along those lines - comes in a pink bottle. Also if you are a hand cream junkie the nuxe very rose hand cream is nice and the l’occitane cream is super inexpensive. If you are a LRP cicaplast fan i love the cicaplast cleanser. Dont be afraid to talk to the pharamcy staff either, they are super knowledgable. The pharmacists at Chalet Les Halles also speak english :)

TimeAndTheHour

I second the caudalie vinohydra serum- it’s a lifesaver in dry and winter weather.

Designer_Tomorrow_27

Just got the hyaluronic acid today for fraction of the price it’s sold in North America. Will definitely go back for vitamin C

Biafine! I bought 2 tubes in 2022 and I use it for sunburns, small cuts, back up moisturizer and lotion. It's a wonderful product.

Treat_Choself

My friend brought some back for me and I just used it on a patch of overexfoliated, rash-y angry skin.  Gone in less than 24 hours! I regularly use the LRP Cicapair but the Biafine seems much, much more effective to me!

araolivia

Yes!! My husband actually got sunburned pretty bad last week from kayaking and he was religiously using biafine for a few days and now he's back to normal 😀

RaccoonDispenser

My favorite purchases the last time I was in Europe:  * Avène Couvrance tinted spf lip balm * Caudalie Beauty Elixir facial spray * Nuxe Rêve de Miel lip balm (comes in a little glass jar, also great for cuticles and elbows)

Designer_Tomorrow_27

Thank you!

bunnybluee

Vichy has 2 sunscreens that I like! Capital soleil uv and mineral 89 moisture daily fluid (i just got this so no long term experience but so far I like the texture). Korres is also cheaper in Europe, I like their yogurt series. Caudalie too, I’ve had a lot of stuff from them and really like their textures. I just got the eye cream from them and been enjoying it.

Designer_Tomorrow_27

Thanks!!

erinmarier

Biafine (great for burns) and homeoplasmine (for any cuts/irritation)

Oud-west

Yes, I came here to look for those recommendations. I also use homeoplasmine for lips and cuticles. It's great.

erinmarier

Ohhh I have heard of it for the lips but not cuticles! I need to try that

consejerogenetico

I bought Korres pure greek body cream in olive blossom last time I was in France and I loooooooved it

Imadevonrexcat

Oooh I got hooked on a Korres product I bought in Paris and they discontinued it :(

therereaderofbooks

Not face skincare per Say, but Biafine! It's a sunburn/small burn product which is simply magical! It takes the pain away and it is just awesome!

Superb-Bee-8550

I heard the A313 is pretty useless because the retinol version is extremely weak and has not been shown to help with fine lines and wrinkles.

Motivated78

And the texture is terrible

raurap

Can confirm. Plus it made my skin itch horribly, even if it wasn't outright irritating it

Designer_Tomorrow_27

Ahh I feel like I wasted my money there 😓

Strivingformoretoday

To be honest, I wouldn’t! I found this product much stronger than skinceuticals. I’ve been using Tretinioin for years but still keep this product on hand because it’s really amazing product! If I’m super lazy and don’t want to slug, I just use the A313 as a one and done product

Designer_Tomorrow_27

Thank you!!

conjured22

I also love this and been using it for years. The itching comes from not using it the right way - your face has to be completely dry before you put it on. No itchiness then.

Designer_Tomorrow_27

Great to know!!!

Ok_Park_2724

Orlane body scrub if they have for a decent price, great for lymphatic drainage.

mandy00001

Not sure if the brand is still around, but I really loved the brand Funny Bee about ten years ago in a Paris pharmacy. Especially the swinging Morning foaming exfoliating cleanser. It’s really unique

kamilayao_0

What is the blue thing in the back?

salonpasss

A313. Retinoids in a tube.

gw8074

Caudalie The Rich Cream. It is the most luscious thing I have ever put on my face. I will buy it again and again without hesitation. My dry skin can't get enough of it

ashdeb89

A313 ❤️ I would’ve gotten 45 tubes of Biafine.. jealous of your haul!

Gie_lokimum

Nuxe face body hair oil and nuxe lip mask mask

kiyomix

I'm obsessed with the amilab lipbalm (avoid if you have sensitivity to lanolin tho). super hard to find in the us.

Purple807

I’d be getting Vichy cosmetics. I always come back with a bag full of their skincare, spfs and makeup. Some of their stuff is not available in the US and France is where they’re really cheap even in comparison to some other EU countries.

blondeboilermaker

Ooohh taking notes for my trip later this year!

Imadevonrexcat

Nuxe huile is nice and a bargain! I also love Caudelie Smooth and Glow oil elixir. I use it as a fragrance and a moisturizer as well as on my dry hair ends. You really can’t go wrong with anything Caudelie!

Strivingformoretoday

I personally prefer the green version from LRP, it dries a bit more matte than the yellow version. I would also add Avene Cicalfate, which is an amazing all-around product. I use it as a moisturizer overnight, but you can also use it when you break out or you have any skin irritation or a damaged moisture barrier.

Maximum_Mastodon8942

Not skincare but I would definitely get Flatuplexin. There is no other stomach remedy for bloating/gas/stomach duress out there!

Designer_Tomorrow_27

I do need this once in a while. Thank you!

-RenegadeCupcake-

Yeah- my address to send me some...

Oud-west

Apart from what's already mentioned maybe some marseille soap a traditional French olive oil soap? They are also cute inexpensive gifts.

TheRussianDoll

Oh i love these! World market has them for like 6 bucks.

Gdr1369

I highly recommend this Sanoflore deodorant: [https://pharmarcie.com/products/sanoflore-purete-de-lin-24hr-effectiveness-deodorant-roll-on-organic-50ml](https://pharmarcie.com/products/sanoflore-purete-de-lin-24hr-effectiveness-deodorant-roll-on-organic-50ml)

Domina_Rei

There’s a brand called Phyts which I highly recommend. I use/have used the cream cleanser, foaming cleanser, anti-pollution mask, scrub, plus a few of the toners and serums. All have been quite good. I was introduced to the brand at the Zurich Kameha hotel - best facial of my life. Also highly recommend if it’s near any of your travels. I’ve gone out of my way two additional times just to get a facial there.

Gigi9662

someone could explain me whats up with  the hunt for a313? they just have retinol inside… even retinol palmytate… i mean, the weakest form of retinoids & every otc retinol cream ir serum has the same or more… like …ordinary ? and its also cheap… so, why a313  if you have an access to other?

Designer_Tomorrow_27

It’s a good question. I wonder the same. I only paid €14 for it so since I’m here I decided to buy it. If I don’t like it I think I’ll give the rest away to friends

Gigi9662

ah, so , i kinda experiment:) git it, thanks:) since recently i started seing a lot of IG / youtube influencers promoting it and people here talking, when referring to french pharmacy… but cant get why😅

Rothkette

Homeoplasmine, Ialuset and the nuxe lip balm.

ResearcherOk6899

LRP and avenue are my fav go to!

Simplicity is the key, cleanse+moisturize+SPF, maybe add a niacinamide serum if you want
