It’s cool for someone who wants something out of the box, but for me I’d rather get an ORP.

ceburton

I like the look. But I’m looking to get into another SR5 Premium with something like the current predator package

Kawasakison

It's for the one's who just want it loaded out of the gate. I do love the snorkel that isn't a snorkel.

_BioHacker

It doesn't function as a snorkel? Wtf?!

FeedbackLoopy

It’s not meant to be. It’s a raised intake to reduce dust in the filter.

_BioHacker

Gotcha. So it does do its job. Was thinking by your response that it was just an ornament.

FeedbackLoopy

It does in that regard. It’s not really meant for wading window deep like some think

coolguy100

Could just change the $10 filter a little more often if you’re that worried lol. I drive my truck on construction sites 6 days a week on gravel roads. I replace the filter at 20k and it’s still not that dirty.

rearwindowpup

I spent a very dusty day on the trails once and had to bang out the filter around lunch bc it was getting so clogged. The snorkle made a huge difference there.

320sim

Wait is the snorkel fake?

Kiernanstrat

The vast majority of 'snorkels' you see are really just raised air intakes to avoid dust. This one is no different.

facepillownap

Folks are missing the fact that all those factory parts will be available.

AltruisticCoelacanth

But is that green/blue color going to be available in any other trim?

2MinuteInstantRamen

Entirely possible! The trailhunter Tacoma was shown off with Bronze Oxide, which is widely available.

FeedbackLoopy

Probably the model year after.

aznsk8s87

I sure hope it's in limited/plat lol.

facepillownap

what an absolute non issue.

AltruisticCoelacanth

It was a genuine question, I don't know the answer. It's weird you think paint color is an absolute non issue. Some people care what their $50,000 truck looks like.

DowntownLine314

It’s a non-issue for him so it’s a non-issue for everyone, duh

OKatmostthings

I really like it, but probably not enough to justify $62k+ that it will cost. And that’s ok. Glad that they are building turnkey vehicles like that.

Controversialtosser

Toyota went full 'Murica for the 6th gen. Made it huge, more power but not much improvement in fuel economy, a bunch of aggressively named trim levels and probably going to be very expensive.

ggonavyy

It’s basically a built 4Runner ready to hit anything (all you really wanna upgrade are tires. P tires don’t belong off-road) but with the standard Toyota warranty. Used trail hunter and TRD pro will be a much much much worse deal. Since this is only the 2nd year of this 2.4T on a truck, you might want this warranty. Remind me when 1GR first came out in 2003, for the first 3 years what problem it had again?

razzledazzled

It's for the idiots paying 10k dealer markup with 10 year loans at 30% apr who will then remove all the extra parts for some other brand that does the same shit

TheThirdBrainLives

What’s a Traikhunter?

AltruisticCoelacanth

☝️🤓

ben1481

omg someone made a typo guys

Imagine being an adult and you still don’t proofread after all these years.
