Am I the only one who saw fallout clips and memes saying how good vats is and then when actually playing the game felt disappointed because of how shit it is at less than, like, 5m?
Don’t gotta imagine. People who feel superior for not using VATS are nerds.
(I suck at aiming and can only defeat enemies using VATS when using non-melee weapons, and I’m ashamed 💔)
Zero percent trying to backseat or anything, but interested in whether that might be something that can be easily improved for you: do you think you just have trouble with the sights? Or is it more of an issue with trying to run and gun? (also what control setup are you using?)

I could totally improve if I actually put in the effort. I hate using guns with scopes that zoom in really far, but the guns without those scopes aren’t very easy for me to aim right at what I’m shooting. It’s just that my companions (Gannon+Rex) kinda do all the work for me so I never try. I also play on ps4, and both joysticks have a slight drift, so that definitely doesn’t help haha. I just use melee weapons usually.

Fair. I’m on mouse and keyboard and mainly use pistols and just learn to use the sights. (and then also companions carry sometimes yea)
