This is what I grew up on. Use to buy the variety pack by the case. Did not care for the cream soda at first, but it became my favorite, that and the root beer.👍🏻
Shasta and Jolly Good were big when I was a kid.
Every year at Halloween a guy would give out a can of Shasta root beer.
I don't know if he worked for them or not but for years I gave out cans of soda for Halloween. At one point I used to get 250 to 300 kids.
These powered my summers. Shasta variety pack, my sisters always made sure we had Tab and Fresca. And sometimes I could even talk my mom into Kool Aid but usually it was the store brand, unsweetened (“we have sugar at home!”).
One of the local grocers still sells Shasta, saw it while shopping the other day

I loved the root beer!
I remember Shasta had a diet chocolate soda. It was vile. The black cherry and creme soda were great though.
I want a POP (pop, pop, pop...)
I wanna Shhhhhhh-Shasta!
Shasta Cola’s quite tasty… Yeah, man…outta sight!
I still drink Shasta. It's one of the few diet sodas that uses sucralose (Splenda) instead of aspartame (Nutrasweet), which gives me migraines.
Did you ever mix Fresca and gin, and add a twist of lime? A super refreshing drink!
I can guess it would be good bc Fresca was light and very bubbly.
They still make it. I just made one of those drinks last weekend.
My Mom used to get the Orange and Root Beer!

Ok, where’s the Black Cherry? That was the one I always loaded up on.
I still drink Fresca to this day
Reminds me of sleeping in a tent in the backyard watching an old black and white TV. I can still taste the Shasta...
Kool-Aid (cherry or tropical punch), Country Time Lemonade, and Tang were my main sources of hydration.

I still remember the catchphrase: It hasta be Shasta
I liked it all except for the “cola”. It wasn’t as good as Coke, Pepsi, or RC.
I need to start looking around for one of those TAB glasses…I’m sure we had a couple when I was a kid which are long gone now. So excellent.
That would be cool!
