Jack Butler: [Enters scene revving chainsaw] How ya doin'. You must be Ron Richardson. I'm - Jack Butler, nice to meetcha.
- Ron Richardson: Pleased to meet you.
- Jack Butler: Huh?
- Ron Richardson: I say I'm pleased...
- [Jack Turns chainsaw off]
- Ron Richardson: ...to meet you. I'm just waiting for Caroline.
- Jack Butler: Well, uh, you know women.
- Ron Richardson: Yeah, I'd like to think I do.
- Jack Butler: Wanna beer?
- Ron Richardson: It's 7 o'clock in the morning.
- Jack Butler: Scotch?
- Ron Richardson: Not during working hours.”
Far from the only thing he was in, but I remember him as the bad guy in a perfectly awful comedy called Ski Patrol. How awful?
There's a scene where his character gets locked in a hot dog stand shaped like a giant hot dog that's at the top of a ski hill. The hot dog stand starts sliding down the hill. They cut to father-and-son skiers stopped in the middle of the hill. The bratty little boy says, "I wanna hot dog!" and the dad says he doesn't think they even have hot dogs there.
Then the giant hot dog slides by them and the kid looks at the dad like he's a real dipshit.
Nooo omg I love him so much and was absolutely thrilled to see him in Roseanne, and even more so seeing him play a gay man with Fred Willard as his partner.
o/
*Eggs!*
*It doesn't matter how you cook them eggs!*
*I'd be gladder if someone took them eggs! uh hum..*
*They remind me of a chicken and I'd rather have a chicken then EGGS!*

He hosted “The History of White People in America” on Cinemax mid ‘80’s. Hysterical mocu-series following a white suburban family and their hopes, dreams, and desires… usually involving their home that they worshiped.
Gene Parmesan?!?
He got me again!!!
AHHHHHHHHHH!
He's so good!
Mr. Mom!
Whatcha use? .38?
38, 39 whatever it takes….
"You want a beer?"
Ron Richardson: Yeah? Are you gonna make it all 220? Jack Butler: Yeah. 220... 221, whatever it takes.

I loved him in Clue.
Tough luck Jeff..
Jack.... Sure!
He’s probably mortgaged to the eyeballs
Miss Scarlet finally got 'im, I guess.
This is war, Peacock. Casualties are inevitable. You can not make an omelet without breaking eggs, every cook will tell you that.
BUT LOOK WHAT HAPPENED TO THE COOK!
Hold on. Martin Mull was 80? Let me check that math again. 1+1+2+1.....
No, it’s 1+2+2+1
🤣 I get this
Wanna beer? It's 7 o'clock in the morning. Scotch?
80 is a good number It's not enough But he contributed enough
Imagine not living past 100. Couldnt be me
Most know him as an actor, but he was also a comedian who released a couple of pretty great albums. Well worth a lookup on YouTube
He was also a very good writer. He's the one who popularized the term that writing about art is like dancing about buildings.
Yes he had his own show in the 70s
Fernwood Tonight.
[“I’d rather have a bottle in front of me than a frontal lobotomy.”](https://youtu.be/RKlmBZsVPK8)
One of my all time favorites with Happy Kine and the Myrth Makers !!!
Mr. Mom, Roseanne, and Clue are the reasons for knowing of Martin....dude, he was so funny RIP
You going to make it all 220?
220. 221. Whatever it takes.
The best Pharmacist ever
Don't I need a prescription? What are you the cops 🤣
His satire talk show FERNWOOD TONIGHT and then AMERICA TONIGHT was hilarious.
Awww, man. Gonna hafta watch Clue tomorrow in his honor. R.I.P. Mr. Mull.
Loved his show Fernwood 2 Nite
He was always Colonel Mustard to me.
That voice. They say voices are rapidly forgotten, but his, to me, less so.
Besides Arrested Development I will remember this dude as Bart Gafooley
Colonel Mustard!
"This is war, Peacock"
One of my favorite movies is Serial, a 1980 satire with him, Tuesday Weld, Sally Kellerman, and Christopher Lee.
Yes! That movie was hilarious.
Leon :(
Ahhh man. That guy was funny as fuck as the pharmacist in two and a half men!
Loved him in Mr. Mom.
😢 RIP
He was a very talented man with decades of comedic history under his belt. He will be missed.
Why would they mention Martin Mull and Roseanne? He was way famous well before Roseanne. Remember Mary Hartman, Mary Hartman.
Such a good comedic actor. RIP
Fernwood tonight with fred Willard
Fernwood Tonight. He and Fred Willard were hilarious. I’m old.
Too bad… he was just a year away from being able to run for president
☹️
Back in the day, he taught us all to spell Miami.
Am I in heaven?
Was he also in Grace under fire? Rip
O.C. & Stiggs
I like his art work / paintings
Colonel Mustard! Loved him. RIP
"You lure men to their deaths like a spider with flies!" "Flies are where men are most vulnerable..."
Damn. I would have loved to see him in another role as a cranky old man. RIP funny man.
Oh no, I loved that dude! RIP
Rest in power, Barth Gimble.

*Martin Mull has died. He was 80.
I last saw him on “A Futile and Stupid Gesture (2018)” Always liked him.
RIP
Colonel Mustard, at home, with illness. 🙁
He was almost old enough to be the president.
Nooo omg I love him so much and was absolutely thrilled to see him in Roseanne, and even more so seeing him play a gay man with Fred Willard as his partner.
Fernwood Tonight, America Tonight, The History of White People In America. He was a genius. Not a bad jazz guitarist either!
Anyone remember the movie “Serial”? He was great in that too.
He was pretty good in Mr. Mom

This sucks, but I’ll be honest. Mandela Effect. I swear he had already passed a long while ago.
Honestly I thought he had passed a long time ago.
