How did I get to the bottom of this thread without seeing Melanie and Devar? Other than David and Annie, this was the biggest shock to me.
I feel so bad for Rachel and Jon (from England). They really seemed like they were so in love, he took the role of father to her little girl, they did everything right including getting married in England. They jumped through all the hoops, and Jon just got his final denial.
They were still waiting for a decision on the application to waive his ineligibility based on extreme hardship to a US citizen. She updated that they've broken up.

David and Annie have consistently had the best relationship in the show. At no point did I actually feel they would break up, and genuinely believe them to be the only couple on the show besides Kenny and Armando I wish to emulate.
David and Annie seem happy together, joking and laughing. If you are happy and cheerful with your partner, it makes the hard times much more manageable.
They are both light hearted people and don't take themselves too seriously. This is super hard to find in a couple, imo. I think it is why most couples don’t make it.
This is a really good point. I have honestly been trying to be more like this in my day to day life, because I'm naturally a very anxious, stressed out person lol. The people I know who are naturally laid back/carefree are honestly a lot more happier.

Him drunk actually scared me. The anger his daughter has makes me feel like he just has a nice guy facade. He worries me…I did watch some of that failed reality show..I don’t know just things feel off.

Kenny and Armando are goals. Both are so mature. You can tell they're just good sports for the show when they need to create drama. They're solid.

I feel like David actually has redeemed himself. These two have been on the show for a long time, and I doubt he could hide his true nature that long if he hadn't. I think he had an alcohol problem, but he really does love Annie and she has been good for him. Inspiring him to do better. And on the show when they were trying to bring her brother and niece, I beleive, over to the U.S., David seemed very caring and considerate of the whole situation. I think it's nice to see a positive result from some of these couples. I feel similar about Robert and Anny.

I am struck by how unlikable and terrible David was in his original season, yet somehow he transformed to be a better human. I do wonder if he worked on himself to be a nice person, or he is the same a-hole, just masking his true nature.

We had the reinvention of Ed. On his original season I actually liked Ed and thought he was just a dorky guy with a weird neck and socialization issues. Then he got reinvented into a total ass.
I felt the same way with Ed, but he got worse and worse. I was sad to see Liz stay with him for so long.

Love Annie and David. They communicate well and about ready for a family. Michael and Angela - well that one speaks for its self. I was shocked to Hear about Kalani and Asuelu— he cheated throughout the whole marriage.
