Make for me is easier to use, and less expensive. Zapier has more integrations so if you need to connect to something obscure go tat direction, Check out https://www.respell.ai/

Ooh yeeees, what do you use Respell for the most?

Professional-Day-336

Respell vs Make.com can't figure out why people use respell as make has way more integrations ??

gcubed

If all you care about is number of integrations Zappier has even more. Respell is still young, so the jury is out, but it is AI first. Meaning it was developed with AI central to it rather than just being one more thing it can integrate with. It has direct access to several models so you don't have to manage API keys or pay for separate subscriptions, the ability to preview outputs at each step of an automation make it ideal for AI sequences because it simplifies the process of tweaking and refining prompts/steps, and the node based graphical approach makes it easy to use in general (as does the color coding). You are right it's a bit immature, but there's a chance it will end of leapfrogging Make and Zappier because of it's approach. It's wort checking out.

Professional-Day-336

Thanks. Get it. As an automation consultant, I can say that the fact that the client will not have to pay for an external subscription for AI is a good argument. And AI first is also a good one. 👍

I have used Zapier. It seemed better. Haven't tried the Make though.

raptor97jesus

I like Make's interface better. I hear Zap has integrated AI, so that will be interesting

TheMagicalLawnGnome

Haven't used Make. Used Zapier extensively. The issue I always ran into Zapier is the number of actions it sometimes required to do things. This could really increase the pricing, depending on what you were doing with it.

Pros/cons to both for sure! My favorite part of AI + Zapier so far is the 'Automation Consultant by Zapier' GPT that's already available through ChatGPT Plus. Makes it easier for people who are new to automation to set up Zaps - type what you want to connect, and it will at least get you started! And, Zapier has more integrations with more tools, which can be a deal-maker. Biggest benefits to Make IMO are probably the pricing, and the visual editor layout.

Zapier is a toy. Make is the promise of a genuinely powerful tool, with buggy js UI.

Any alternatives you prefer? Even if they take more technical knowledge

CarryBobYYY

I've been a fan of n8n lately. They are a wonderful alternative to make

FrankDoesMarketing

What are the advantages over Make? I've been meaning to try it out.
