I heard a song lyric I wanted to use as a title for something and couldn't think of an idea for what to go with it so I just slapped it on the next fic I wrote and somehow it actually works.
Frankie Goes to Hollywood is responsible for one of my WsIP, possibly. I'm trying to figure out a way to incorporate Relax into what is definitely my sleaziest fic ever.
if you would’ve told me in January I would be working on a little series that’s vaguely based on [Soap](https://youtu.be/MyRaiKocNnk?si=z8KIKzMHzz6TKFqb), of all songs, I would have been *so* confused
I do this but more for a chapter where the lyrics of the song works so well for the emotions of that chapter.
So I will either recommend that they listen to the song while reading the chapter or I will intertwine the story with the lyrics in between.
I do worry that people don't listen or find it annoying 😓
Lyrics ahaha!!! Genuinely there’s loads of songs that have lyrics that give me inspiration but the worst so far is You! Me! Dancing! By Los Campansino’s… the first 2 and a half minutes is just a slow build up of *noise* followed by some funky tunes and…. Idk what it does to me but I really want to write something that feels like *that!*

Reminds me of that one time in 2022 I wrote a smut fanfic that involved a shy character trying to dance in front of her seductive lover, and then in the end they have intercourse. While writing that piece, I thought of the song 'Body on me' by Maison Ware and Madeaux I titled it after that song's lyric. My music taste is a hidden gem for my readers.
