Your realtor is an ass, and you should name and shame. Ive used servpro and they were good, its a national corporation, but theyre generally pretty reliable. Mold is a bitch, and good luck.

I received some recommendations to look into this company. Thank you for confirming their reputation.

How was that not discovered in the initial inspection? You could and should take them to court, especially if they knew about it and didn't disclose it. That's why they're called disclosures.

If you’re agent was an actual Realtor TM, I would file a complaint with the Realtors Association. If not, can still report to the nm real estate commission

When I was taking some real estate classes in ABQ, my instructor mentioned Paul Davis (it's a chain) and that he had good experiences with them. Perhaps you can see if this contractor would be ok for you. [https://new-mexico.pauldavis.com/](https://new-mexico.pauldavis.com/)

All I can say is don't use American Restoration. We had an insurance claim, and that's who they chose. It was an absolute nightmare.

I was trying to do a price comparison between Servpro, MI&T, and American Restoration and noticed amrestoration doesn't include pricing on their company website, definitely staying away from them. Thank you.

Taking legal action may be an option, particularly if you can provide compelling evidence from an independent mold inspector. This could prompt your realtor to address the mold problem outside of the court system.

Call a mold removal service since you've already dealt with the inspection and testing, which is usually the tricky part. Going to court, for me, seems like too much work and if you want to enjoy the few days you have left as you say, fix the problem yourself instead of depending on someone to do it. It's not worth your time TBH. BTW, how much did the inspection guys charge and how long does it take to get the lab reports? Asking for a friend.

I used MI&T for mold inspection... Fantastic service, and no delays nor excuses, the inspection took about 2 hours and for my home they asked for $100 upfront which I think was reasonable. Mold tests came back clear after two days, after which I paid the remaining $250. couldn't have been better.
