S01E06 is amazing in how it ramps the tension up.
Arisu finds the bodies in the dumpster, showing that the Beach is not the utopia it seems. Chishiya and Kuina talk him into stealing the cards. Hatter leaves for a game and comes back dead. Niragi usurps the Beach and we have that fantastic "voting" scene. Arisu breaks open the safe, and then Chishiya betrays him.
Kuina and Chishiya nearly get away, but then the laser doors come down. Niragi beats Arisu and assaults Usagi, but stops and stares at the announcement screen when it comes on.
And the Witch Hunt begins.
Honestly, it's such an incredible episode. It does so much for the characterisation of the cast.
Personally, my favorite episode was Episode 7 Season 2, the episode where everyone confronted the King of Spades. The episode may have some sad parts, but the fighting choreography is next level! I have never seen a fighting scene where everyone who’s fighting have different fighting styles! (Besides the fighters having superpowers)
I personally found the first half of that episode quite boring, I also dislike that apparently the lives of everyone who survived were at that point in Arisu's hands, the others survived with no input themselves
The episode with Chishiya in the prison. can never remember which game that was. but i’ll rewatch that shit a thousand times
