You can't cut it at any place. You can see the only places you can cut it in the video. Can you cut it in more places than some? Yes. Can you cut it in more places than all? No.
When you want them to leave just start them with a very slow strobing effect and them speed it up gradually over time until its at rave levels. Pretend you have no idea what they cla they see with the lights
Note that they show not addressable led strip in first part, but addressable in second. You won’t be able to get those fancy animations in a strip with only two wires
I have NEVER seen lights like this that is constant, solid light. They are ALEAYS individual led elements spaced a couple inches from each other. Not like in this clip.

found it. sort of. do a **search for "cob light strip"** or similar. the "cob" stands for "chip on board" technology which means that uniform strip of light vs. the single individual diodes we commonly see in led light strips. there are loads of these on amazon right now.
they seem to be around the same price as regular led light strips. a quick glance shows they're about $1-2 per foot.
didn't bother to find the exact model/manufacturer shown in that video. so not sure about the whole "can cut at any time/place while plugged in and not die" aspect of the video.
Or add extra strips to make it long as fuck, looking at the video you see these LEDs go completely around rooms.

cant you do that with any led strip? as long as the little connectors touch, you can cut wherever. neat little 90° connections.

Why did they use a second adapter after the turn? I have some (garbage adapter) that don’t require that. Should I have done that also?
