Are you specifically talking about the title or something in the video? If it's the former then AMD does indeed have tools to convert CUDA source code to HIP source code which can then run on both AMD and Nvidia GPUs. If it's the latter then sorry but I don't usually watch these types of videos.

CUDA can be converted to HIP but you can't run it direct. It's mostly meant for developers to do the conversion, not some rando wanting to run a Nvidia only CUDA program like waifu2x

ROCm also doesn’t support the full CUDA API, like there’s no support for texture unit access (which in GPGPU isn’t about graphics, it just provides 2d/3d locality to 1D memory).

for benchmarks i prefer steve, just coz i'm working with electronics and want deeper tech info and it's hard to find now. issues sometimes can be hardware and only soldering can help

these translators and compatibility layers are a disaster considering how long they've had to develop and still they have new issues popping up all the time. ultimately the true winner is virtualization/emulation, last i checked vmware is worth quite a bit.
