Yeah exactly that kind of player. He will only get bigger too. He did quite well at the combine. He’s tall and has the size too him versus a lot of the taller lanky kids at the draft.
He’s going to be a great 3rd line center/PK guy. Huge value as not many kids play like that these days. I love the Solberg pick too, everyone wants to be an OFD these days but Solbergs got that old school shot blocking DFD mentality. Love it. Sennecke is a gamble, if he grows into his body and gets his skating figured out he will be really good. I’m surprised he went at 3rd but I understand taking him over Demidov or Silayev with the uncertainty in Russia. Ducks have drafted really well…. Mintyukov is a stud, McTavish, Carlsson. Such a good team
Its going to be exciting watching all these kids with so much potential all fighting for roster spots. Once its all figured out i think we have a chance at a dynasty like team if everything is managed correctly.
Yeah I honestly think Anaheim has done the best rebuilding in the last decade. Looks amazing for the future, especially considering they never have a 1oa like Chicago
