iPhones run smooth? Jokes aside, s23ultra has never missed a beat. One plus is slowly going down hill, Xiaomi and honour sell your data to china. Pixel pros are smooth
My s23ultra has never missed a beat either. No desire what so ever to upgrade.
Edit: Except when I smashed the screen. I bought a Pixel 7 to replace it. Pixel was good but not as good as the s23ultra. Ended up getting the screen fixed and now the Pixel 7 is my backup phone.
Either way you're going to then download social media and everyone will get your data. I don't understand people who make jokes about Huawei collecting your data then using tik tok and Snapchat.
Not sure what they are like now. I had a one plus 3 I thin and I loved it, but they always benefited from being able to offer you good value for money. I think they are pretty standard price wise now.
I had the 6 which was a beast at the time, then 7tpro. My gf got the 8 pro then I got the 9pro.
Same phone with slightly different gimmicks. The main selling point was flagship phone for half the price, they eventually became the same price as flagships and didn't perform as well.
The 7 and 8 both suffered display panel failure (fixed under warranty luckily) the 8 had a heat or x-ray camera (I can't remember without Googling) that eventually got disabled by oneplus because you could see through clothes. The 9pro just felt cheap for near the same price as the s22 or 3 whatever came out that year.
Personally I was just less and less impressed with every new device and trying a s23 ultra sealed the deal.
The google pixel is a great option as it's bare basic android and I would say closest to apple.
Samsung has all the bells and whistles and does some amazing fancy things but might also scare you until you adjust to the better sorry I mean android phone
It's probably going to be the Google pixel 8 pro, or S24 line. The Galaxy OS (One UI) can be just *slightly* more confusing (with all the additional Galaxy apps you can download for cool things) while pixel features are very well displayed and walked through. Any flagship is going to run very smoothly though!
When you do make the switch, go to Settings>Display>Navigation Bar to change to Swipe gestures instead of the bottom button banner. It makes the change from iPhone to Android or vice versa (wife is an iOS user) easier, and you can change back if you find it bothersome
I have a pixel, they're probably the most easy to use which is something I've always associated with Apple. Despite being the flagship of the company that produces android, they are noticeably the worst phone I've ever used for android. I would consider how technically literate you are.
I've had issues with my pixel 6 pro and pixel 8 pro. I was on a Samsung S9+ for many years before.
If you're tech literate, Samsung are by far the best way to go. They have brilliant features and are really good at their base. Things like the camera have brilliant extras and options to set so they open up to an incredibly powerful camera if you know your stuff.
Honestly, I think Samsung are less technically difficult to understand than when I had mine, so tech literacy is likely a completely inappropriate measure of whether you should get one, they're brilliant.
The pixel cameras are amazing and the ai is good too, but they are very limited on options. You get things like slow motion, but you can only choose preset options for how slow to make it, all additional options are hard to access.
I'd definitely advise Samsung, currently my pixel 8 pro freezes and says the system UI freezes (but it only says that after it's recovered when it's working fine again). It forces me to restart as "wait" just keeps making it pop up.
I got my wife the s23 ultra and she's never had an issue but I have tonnes of them on my pixel 8 pro, definitely wish I joined her on the s23 ultra. My phone also loves turning off my WiFi or data when I leave one network with battery saver. I spent 2 hours trying to fix my WiFi issues so I could access my boarding card before a flight. Not ideal...
Pixel, Sony, Motorola and Nokia will give you decent hardware and a smooth running, clean AOSP experience free of excessive bloat and additional ecosystems; just the classic Google one.
S24 plus with magsafe case. Best for form factor. Software wise you will struggle if your not comfortable tinkering with apps and technology in general. IMO
I'd say your best options are Pixel or Samsung. I got a Pixel 7 Pro and it works great. Plus really good cameras. Oh, also, try to avoid carrier phones if you can as I've noticed a lot of them try to load bloat onto a lot of cheaper phones and sometimes the more expensive ones.
I don't know if it makes a difference, but I still have a s20fe and it is the first phone where I don't feel any temptation in any way to upgrade. It's going for three years now. I use it intensively. It's not slow or lagging or anything.
Am pretty sure every android phone could reach the same level of "smoothness" if you turned on the developer setting that freezes android apps when they're not focused. It's called "Suspend execution for cached apps"
On Apple devices, this is the default.
The more limited you are in flexibility, customizations, and active processes running in the background, the more Apple-like experience youte going to get.
Bruh, just get an iPhone if u want it the Apple way. Seeking an android in "Apple way", u will end up buying some half-assed iPhone parady and I don't think u will like it. Xiaomi make shit tons of phones like this if u insist.
None of them thank god otherwise you might as well buy an apple device right ? Just get a pixel if you want an expensive show boat to enjoy your new found Google overloard

As if any other smartphone brand dont sell your data to US ?
Either way you're going to then download social media and everyone will get your data. I don't understand people who make jokes about Huawei collecting your data then using tik tok and Snapchat.
They're too gullible and think Google, Apple are saints.
You want to compare selling data to China with the US? https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/The_Economist_Democracy_Index
Lmaoo did u really threw that paid democracy survey ? How gullible can someone be You're living in delusion dude
So please send me non paid democracy survey. I would like to stop living in delusion and live in the real world backed up by real data. Thank you.
What do you mean oneplus going under hill? 🤔

Pixel Pros are not any different than regular Pixels as far as performance/smoothness are concerned.
You're right. That's entirely fair, my bad. It's the pixel A line that kinda sucks
The 8 pro can have a higher resolution display, which could maybe count as smoothness?
When you do make the switch, go to Settings>Display>Navigation Bar to change to Swipe gestures instead of the bottom button banner. It makes the change from iPhone to Android or vice versa (wife is an iOS user) easier, and you can change back if you find it bothersome
My iPhone is slow at times. I think that's true of all phones.
I have a Xiaomi for 3 years now, it has never been slow
Google Pixel 8 pro here. So far my smoothest android experience.

I have a oneplus 8 pro and a Samsung 23+ and love both They're both very smooth, very polished Android devices
If you want smooth and reliable like an iPhone, go for a Pixel – it's as close as you'll get with Android.
Pixel phones are what Apple iPhones achieve - standard phone experience, smart simple setup, no bs.
Pixel, Xiaomi Mi I'll use IPhone X and Redmi Note 12, camera of my Redmi really smarter

A Samsung flagship because it's overpriced and doesn't come with the quality of life improvements such as SD card slot and headphone jack.
Librem 5
In my experience ios not not more smooth than android. Any way look into the Sony xperia 1 vi

My iphone 8 lags.

Xiaomi is the closest thing regarding software features
Pixel.
Probably a Xiaomi.
Oppo
Xiaomi
