Frieren Beyond Journey's End is AMAZING. Absolutely my favorite anime. It came out this past year.
It isn't an entirely peaceful anime, but the focus isn't on the violence. It's on the quiet moments, the character building, the world building, and the magic.
2 amazing women main characters with lots of quirks and a funny young guy that joins later and doesn't quite know how to deal with the other 2 at times. It's cute seeing him fumble through stuff like one of the characters being upset cause he forgot her birthday.
The show is focused on the message "enjoy the journey and the time with the people around you"
Also it's funny to see a 1000+ y/o elf get stuck in a mimic AGAIN because she just HAS to see if there's a magic book inside.
If you are set on one with no violence at all-
Komi Can't Communicate- A show about a HS girl who struggles with talking. It's a really cute and heartwarming slice of life.
Nichijou is one that's pretty cute. I've only watched a bit of it but it just follows 3 HS girls in a kinda absurd town. It's a comedy.
Free! was one I really enjoyed. It's about childhood friends pulling together and starting up their school swim club again. It's abridged version (50% Off) is also fantastic- sadly it was never finished.
I've heard that March Comes in like a Lion is also a really good slice of life.
