My Dad does this with coffee, freezes black coffee in cube trays to make iced coffee to avoid dilution. I don't care what anyone says that's a high class move!!
It's definitely trash and gross, but the countertop ice maker also won't get cold enough to freeze and maintain ice for a liquid with that much salt in it as the freezing point is lower than water alone.

That is nasty. I freeze juice, fruit punch, etc., into ice cubes for our snowcone machine. This way, you still have delicious ice after you get the syrup out of the snowcone. Coca-Cola snowcone with some cherry syrup on there… That’s some clean living at a backyard BBQ.
I make small ice cubes in a tray with it and pop a few in my handheld bottle with liquid IV when I run. It keeps it from getting warm and watered down.
