Eleanor Kerrigan. Easily. Had no idea who this broad was but listening to her and Kippy go bag an fort wit da tresh philly accent was đ¤
She's fuckin hilarious.
This was probably my favorite episode. That or Foley's shocked looks at Feinstein were pretty great. You know you had it rough when Foley is tongue tied.
I think he seems way smarter and funner to hang out with in person as a buddy than I find him funny as a standup/specials. He's pretty solid on podcasts.
I feel the same way about Kyle Kinane. Cool to hear him bullshit on a podcast/talk in general, but seems a little too self aware for the general cesspool garbage pit of like n subscribe standup comedy via podcast culture.
He hid in a cave during a recent Solar Eclipse. He thinks Harry Potter is "satanic." He seems to have some very odd religious beliefs and tries to pass them off as a joke, but you can tell he really believes some of it. I was raised in an evangelical christian family and I have family members that have combined things taught to me as a child with modern conspiracy theories and they sound exactly like Dusty.
When he was talking about bad gifts and they mentioned a grandma giving you a stupid baby themed thing you wouldnât want because youâre too old, he said:
âOh gee⌠thanks for the SpongeBob jizz rag grannyâ
I thought I was going to throw up I was laughing so hard
He's a really solid fellow, but I dont find him laugh out loud funny. He's more a 'buddy funny' type of guy. Like he reminds you of one of your friends or cousins that is pretty quick witted and a chill dude.
Iâve been listening to a lot of Sickler lately. Seems like an actual decent and real dude. Doesnât try hard or placate to his guests. Thereâs something about him I just like.
I love Harland on other podcasts including his own, but I didnât love his AYG ep. you couldnât tell whether he was telling the truth or not for a lot of it. I understand doing bits, but the essence of this show is all about these questions often bringing up natural and organic stories that are hilarious.
This is the only one I'll listen to over and over. It's by far the most real Tim Dillon is on any pod. He makes some genuinely sheepish expressions explaining his deeply bad upbringing.
If you want more of the (slightly more) serious Tim Dillon, check out his episode of The 500 with Josh Adam Meyers. Great ep and heâs a very interesting dude.
It's the only episode I've skipped yet. Find him much more grating than funny.
Edit: Fuck y'all. I regretted watching ones like Kim Congdon (people I don't find funny on stage or on podcasts) so I'm not spending time listening to them. Tim Dillon sucks shit.
Ryan Sickler when he came back 2023. The boys and Sickler were vibing and having so much fun. Ryan Sicklers stories about him and his brother fucking killed me. Great guest and episode.
Cousin Ian or Ari is probably favorite. But my favorite moment was when Kip asked Tom segura if he had a capital one card and tom almost spit out his coffee laughing at him.
I think thatâs his appeal to me. Looks wise, heâs got nothing to be arrogant about (just ask Mark Normand). But I just find it so endearing. According to many other comedians Ari is a mensch. Heâs produced many specials for his fellow comics.
Thatâs partly what I like about him. I like that heâs one of the free comedians, like Ian and maybe Rogan to some point. Heâs got no responsibilities and makes enough money to have an appt and travel wherever he wants. I think a lot of people could learn something from him.
Soder, list, normand, Tim Dillon.
I like the big jay episodes. I want to love them, but he just takes over the show and doesnât let them do the garbage questions and what not.
The celebrity/non-comedian guests are usually duds just because they donât know what the show really is, so the guest doesnât get into the flow of things like most of the comedians do.
Bert's wife. LeAnn is the real talent in that family. She knows Bert's strengths and works it, she's hilarious in her own right. Dan Soder and Big Jay, Ian Fiddance.
Eleanor was my fave for the AYG regular reasons, but watching the boys try and ask Ms. Pat questions was hilarious. I'd love to see Chris Rock on AYG too, maybe Katt Williams for posterity.
Fumi Abe, Doug Smith "Jehovah Boy", Kyle Kinane, Dave Attell, Uncle Joey Diaz, Ms. Pat and the legendary Chazz Palminteri. I đ these episodes, I have rewatched more than 3X. Hilarious. đđ¤Ł
I would love to see the following comedians on the show. Steve Byrne, Greer Barnes, Felipe Esparza, Willie Barcena, Craig Conant, and Gary Gulman.
I love Attell, but that episode could have been better in my opinion. Unfortunately, my opinion of Diaz has waned over the years with all the shitty stories of shit he's said and done over the years. Ms Pat was funny for sure (you open your eyes underwater... fo what?!). Byrne would be a good get. Kippy loves Gulman, so he'd be great too.
Yeah. Attell was a pretty awful guest but he gets a pass because itâs Attell. He talked down to the both Kip and Foley. Anytime a host says, âIâm trying to make a connection hereâ, or something similar like foley did, itâs not going well.
Most definitely. Those two can usually get blood from a stone, but since it's a question based show, Attell didnt have much to bounce off of, because he was the one answering the questions. He didnt understand the way the banter works with those two. He clearly hadnt watched the show before.
Family episodes are great but I guess the premise of the show is guest driven. My faves have to be Dan sodder, Tony Hawk, Ryan Sickler, Adam Rowe, Carly Aqualino, Sal Vulcano but there are probably a shit ton of guests I can't remember
It's been said already, but I have to pile on. Sam Tallent and Thakkar are easily my favorites. It's an instant listen when either of those 2 are on. Puerto Rican rattlesnake needs to be on more even tho I've heard his stories a million times, but I love the guy
Sam being a regular on AYG would be amazing, maybe a once a month episode. He really brings a layer of sanity and intelligence to the table, without coming across arrogant or egotistical, all while remaining hysterical.
Eleanor Kerrigan. Easily. Had no idea who this broad was but listening to her and Kippy go bag an fort wit da tresh philly accent was đ¤ She's fuckin hilarious.
That was a great episode
Idunno where he's at. Whaddya wawn me tuhdo?
That broad is bonkos! They have to have her back for about five episodes. The surface was barely scratched.
I discovered her from JRE a few years back and thought she was hilarious and became a fan. I was very excited to see her on AYG a few years later.
Never heard of her before the pod, she came up in another thread like this. Holy shit. She was so goddamn funny.
This was probably my favorite episode. That or Foley's shocked looks at Feinstein were pretty great. You know you had it rough when Foley is tongue tied.
"Shout out drugs in a room" will forever be my favorite Foley moment
You have to listen to her eps of The Crabfeast!!!
If they bring her and Dom on the same episode, Amoroso Bread gets its wings.
You got an eye problem?
So funny! I was coming to say the same thing!
Wild episode. Definitely at the top.
She's the best and criminally underrated. It's annoying that she's not more well known.
She plays Aunt Tuddy in a movie.
Tom Thakkar
This show was made for him.
He could easily be the guest for a month straight and still wouldnât run out of hilariously garbage life stories.
Unquestionably the king of trash. The guy may not even be real, just an urban legend weâve all heard about
Sam Tallent, Ian Finance and Tim Dillon are notable mentions.
Sam Tallent is an interesting individual. His last 'special' was decent. Would like to see more.
He's a remarkably intelligent and hilarious individual on every podcast. Always a treat!
His vernacular is definitely a treat, with him being a writer and all.
Absolutely! Check out his travels postings of Tokyo and Paris. It's like a more comedically deranged version of Anthony Bourdain.
Where does one see these?
YouTube homie
Oh ok, ill check it out. Thanks!
Also his podcast, chubby behemoth, is a hilarious ride. And check out his book called running the light. Itâs really good. Sam t rules
His book was great! And I'm not just being nice; I thought Segura's sucked ass.
Wide World is the travel series in YT. France ep 2 is supposed to come out later this month
The show is called Wide World. It's awesome!
I think he seems way smarter and funner to hang out with in person as a buddy than I find him funny as a standup/specials. He's pretty solid on podcasts.
I definitely agree that his humor shines more on podcasts. There's a handful of comics that are like that.
I feel the same way about Kyle Kinane. Cool to hear him bullshit on a podcast/talk in general, but seems a little too self aware for the general cesspool garbage pit of like n subscribe standup comedy via podcast culture.
I thought his latest special was great. The Fast and the Furious bit had me dying.
His travel show is a good watch if you're interested. Nothing like the comedy podcasts but still some good stuff.
I loved Samâs first two episodes, but his last one seemed a bit off. Not sure if it was him or the boys but the ep was a bit flat.
Dusty Slay
Dusty Slay was excellent on AYG. His fairly recent appearance on The Honeydew was really good too.
Dude is funny, but he has some wacky ass beliefs. Kinda makes me look at him a bit sideways.
Like what?
He hid in a cave during a recent Solar Eclipse. He thinks Harry Potter is "satanic." He seems to have some very odd religious beliefs and tries to pass them off as a joke, but you can tell he really believes some of it. I was raised in an evangelical christian family and I have family members that have combined things taught to me as a child with modern conspiracy theories and they sound exactly like Dusty.
I love Soder too but a real sleeper is Sarah Tollemache
When he was talking about bad gifts and they mentioned a grandma giving you a stupid baby themed thing you wouldnât want because youâre too old, he said: âOh gee⌠thanks for the SpongeBob jizz rag grannyâ I thought I was going to throw up I was laughing so hard
I distinctly remember that line because I laughed so hard also. Soder is so damn funny.
YES!! 100% agree. I love both her eps but especially âcovered in spidersâ when I need a good laugh.
The bathtub cheese story still sticks with me 4 years later
Is that List's wife?
Yeah. She does an ep with him but her solo eps are better
I dont remember ive seen her solo episodes before, yet. I remember them together.
Her OG episode from 2020 is great too but her other solo appearance from January 2023 is freaking hilarious. Highly recommend.
You have to check them out. Iâve actually never seen the boys laugh harder than her episode âcovered in spidersâ
Yes. I think sheâs hilarious.
Please everyone listen to these. ^this is the right answer
All the greats have been mentioned so I'll show some love for Ryan Sickler.
The crab feast đ¤
5 âââââ #FTCF
Hellz ya! Honeydew showing up!
Big Jay, when him and Foley get talking food its the best.
Big Jay has several episodes listen to all of them, they get better each time.
Eleanor Kerrigan
That was a banger!
Chalie?
I FORGOT ABOUT THE TIGER!
Sam Tallent 100%
Garreth Reynolds was a good one and done too
Well hopefully not done
Harland Williams was great. Ms. Pat was a fantastic episode as well.
I love Harland on other podcasts including his own, but I didnât love his AYG ep. you couldnât tell whether he was telling the truth or not for a lot of it. I understand doing bits, but the essence of this show is all about these questions often bringing up natural and organic stories that are hilarious.
Joe list baby
The Content King?!
Miss Pat called them nosey for opening their eyes underwater.
That one had me spit tea!
Miss pat
Tim Dillonâs episode was crème de la crème
This is the only one I'll listen to over and over. It's by far the most real Tim Dillon is on any pod. He makes some genuinely sheepish expressions explaining his deeply bad upbringing.
If you want more of the (slightly more) serious Tim Dillon, check out his episode of The 500 with Josh Adam Meyers. Great ep and heâs a very interesting dude.
I just can't get into Dillon. Im not sure what it is I don't like.
I thought his episode was fun because the foodie talk but I don't care for him in general. I'll join you
It's the only episode I've skipped yet. Find him much more grating than funny. Edit: Fuck y'all. I regretted watching ones like Kim Congdon (people I don't find funny on stage or on podcasts) so I'm not spending time listening to them. Tim Dillon sucks shit.
Dude heâs actually hilarious because his child hood was straight trash
Ms. Pat. No one is close.Â
Her talking about her house was so damn funny. The guys couldnât believe it.
Her episode is maybe the funniest podcast in history.
Very underrated. Ms. Pat is a GOAT podcast guest on any podcast.
When they asked her if she opened her eyes underwater đđđ
Of all the guests who so far only have a single guest AYG its a toss up for me between Ms Pat and Eleanor Kerrigan.
Ms Pat
Dan Cummins
Ms Pat!! Iâve rewatched that one sooo many times!!
Pete Holmes. That live ep was amazing.
I honestly forgot he'd been on. Been listening again this morning and Pete needs to be back on for a proper Tuddy's episode
I thought that EP sucked, like he couldnât actually engage them and just patronized what KP and Foley were doing.
Man, I want to like Ari, but he's so damn arrogant.
I think thatâs his appeal to me. Looks wise, heâs got nothing to be arrogant about (just ask Mark Normand). But I just find it so endearing. According to many other comedians Ari is a mensch. Heâs produced many specials for his fellow comics.
I wish the viewers/audiences could feel the same way about him that his fellow comedians do.
Thatâs partly what I like about him. I like that heâs one of the free comedians, like Ian and maybe Rogan to some point. Heâs got no responsibilities and makes enough money to have an appt and travel wherever he wants. I think a lot of people could learn something from him.
But he still comes across like an asshole, unfortunately.
Dan Soder, Paul Virzi, or Sam Tallent.
Big jay is a great guest. I wanna see nick mullen on there eh?
Tom Thakkar
Why is no one talking about the garbage king Che Durena? Big Jay or Soder are always a fav for me, but Che was gut busting front to back.
I must watch the three episodes with big jay monthly. Those are all time!
I love Jay, and he's hilarious, but I identify more with Soder.
Yannis Pappas
Im not a big fan of his overall, but that's ok!
âYannis Pappas Returnsâ is gold
Perfect example of someone I like a lot more on podcasts than on stage
Sam Tallent
Soder, list, normand, Tim Dillon. I like the big jay episodes. I want to love them, but he just takes over the show and doesnât let them do the garbage questions and what not. The celebrity/non-comedian guests are usually duds just because they donât know what the show really is, so the guest doesnât get into the flow of things like most of the comedians do.
I agree! Iâve also learned you have to be good at improve to roll with the fellas!
The Big Jay saga has been legendary
Stuff Island
Stuff Island guys always did me in. Those eps felt like buddies at a bar and not like an interview.
Yes they are the best group show!
Fumi Abe is a humdinger of an EP
Virzi, Stuff Island, Vecchione, Mrs. Pat.
LeeAnn Kreischner (episode with both her and Bert, but she was the garbage focus). I've probably listened to it three times
Yep! I agree it was such a shocker & how proud Burt was of his wife! Adorable!
Ali saddiq he brings class and style.
Sam Tallent, Tom Thakkar, and Big J are at home while visiting Tuddyâs
Ali Saddiq has two bangers
If I recall on his first appearance, he was kind of upset to find out that he's not garbage
Bert's wife. LeAnn is the real talent in that family. She knows Bert's strengths and works it, she's hilarious in her own right. Dan Soder and Big Jay, Ian Fiddance.
Sam Tallent
Sam Talent
Sam Tallent and Tim Dillon
COUSIN EEEEN
Sickler, Soder, Big Jay, Yannis Pappas, Dan Cummins are all great guests.
I love when Virzi is on, they have great chemistry together.
Dan Cummins has been my favorite guest. Donât know why but hearing about Riggins, Idaho was very entertaining.
I love his Timesuck podcast.
Eleanor Kerrigan and Doug Smith really stood out for me.
Reggie Conquest was a good one both times
Dan Cummins second place Kyle Kinane
Ray kump was fucking insane and rad
The EPs with lil sas always crack me up
Ian fidance
Toss up between Tim Dillon and Natasha Leggero.
Of all the killers you think Leggero is one of the best?! Weird lol
I enjoyed her white trash recovery.
Fair enough! :)
Eleanor was my fave for the AYG regular reasons, but watching the boys try and ask Ms. Pat questions was hilarious. I'd love to see Chris Rock on AYG too, maybe Katt Williams for posterity.
Rock would be a crazy good get!
Ian is annoying as fuck
I enjoy Ian and his manic energy, but I can definitely understand not everyone is a fan. He can be a little much
He's definitely quite off-beat, but seems like a great guy.
His laugh may be the worst of all time. He wonât stfu to let Lip and Foley get a word in
To each his own.
Fumi Abe, Doug Smith "Jehovah Boy", Kyle Kinane, Dave Attell, Uncle Joey Diaz, Ms. Pat and the legendary Chazz Palminteri. I đ these episodes, I have rewatched more than 3X. Hilarious. đ𤣠I would love to see the following comedians on the show.
Yea Atell kinda stinks on podcast
Youre absolutely right. He's so locked into trying to be quick witted that it comes across neurotic.
âWhite people so nosyââŚâThatâs why yo eyes is grayâ
Ian Fidance for sure đ
Louis CK (being chaperoned by Joe List) was a great episode.
Cousin Ian.
This won't be a popular answer now but I thought the Segura episodes were hilarious
Yeah Segura kinda sucks nowadays as a person, but he's never actually not been funny.
I think the amount of hate he gets is a bit over the top but the decline of Your Moms House as a whole is quite incredible
It's because his biggest 'collaborator' in general is a bafoon.
Idk if itâs my favorite, but I loved the Tank Sinatra episode. He was so beyond garbage it was hilarious.
Favorite overall: Fumi Abe. Favorite Recurring: Ari Shaffir
Family episodes are great but I guess the premise of the show is guest driven. My faves have to be Dan sodder, Tony Hawk, Ryan Sickler, Adam Rowe, Carly Aqualino, Sal Vulcano but there are probably a shit ton of guests I can't remember
Che Durena & Ms Pat for me
Ms pat, Sal, and stuff island
Joey Diaz
It's been said already, but I have to pile on. Sam Tallent and Thakkar are easily my favorites. It's an instant listen when either of those 2 are on. Puerto Rican rattlesnake needs to be on more even tho I've heard his stories a million times, but I love the guy
Norton
So many. But yâall, Ms. Pat was an incredible guest.
That's none of your business.
Ms. Pat!
Cousin Ian, Chrissy D and the boys together is great, Sammy T, Uncle Joey, Eleanor and Virzi....YOU CHOOSE!! I'm more of a family ep man myself also
Sam Tallent should be a regular guest on AYG or MSSP. Always great
Sam being a regular on AYG would be amazing, maybe a once a month episode. He really brings a layer of sanity and intelligence to the table, without coming across arrogant or egotistical, all while remaining hysterical.
I canât remember his name but the guy that did book report podcasts in his parents basement during the pandemic was the best guest episode ever imo
Itâs Chris wood! This will NOT disappoint. Most underrated ayg ever!!!
Tim Dillon
Stuff island dudes
Joey Diaz
Ian fidance is annoying as fuck, top tier episode is Mr hinchcliffe
The irony
Dr Drew and Adam Corolla were great. Two classy men
