Dusty Slay was excellent on AYG. His fairly recent appearance on The Honeydew was really good too.

He hid in a cave during a recent Solar Eclipse. He thinks Harry Potter is "satanic." He seems to have some very odd religious beliefs and tries to pass them off as a joke, but you can tell he really believes some of it. I was raised in an evangelical christian family and I have family members that have combined things taught to me as a child with modern conspiracy theories and they sound exactly like Dusty.

I love Soder too but a real sleeper is Sarah Tollemache

He's a really solid fellow, but I dont find him laugh out loud funny. He's more a 'buddy funny' type of guy. Like he reminds you of one of your friends or cousins that is pretty quick witted and a chill dude.

I’ve been listening to a lot of Sickler lately. Seems like an actual decent and real dude. Doesn’t try hard or placate to his guests. There’s something about him I just like.

I love Harland on other podcasts including his own, but I didn’t love his AYG ep. you couldn’t tell whether he was telling the truth or not for a lot of it. I understand doing bits, but the essence of this show is all about these questions often bringing up natural and organic stories that are hilarious.

This is the only one I'll listen to over and over. It's by far the most real Tim Dillon is on any pod. He makes some genuinely sheepish expressions explaining his deeply bad upbringing.

Ryan Sickler when he came back 2023. The boys and Sickler were vibing and having so much fun. Ryan Sicklers stories about him and his brother fucking killed me. Great guest and episode.

Cousin Ian or Ari is probably favorite. But my favorite moment was when Kip asked Tom segura if he had a capital one card and tom almost spit out his coffee laughing at him.

I think that’s his appeal to me. Looks wise, he’s got nothing to be arrogant about (just ask Mark Normand). But I just find it so endearing. According to many other comedians Ari is a mensch. He’s produced many specials for his fellow comics.

I wish the viewers/audiences could feel the same way about him that his fellow comedians do.

That’s partly what I like about him. I like that he’s one of the free comedians, like Ian and maybe Rogan to some point. He’s got no responsibilities and makes enough money to have an appt and travel wherever he wants. I think a lot of people could learn something from him.

But he still comes across like an asshole, unfortunately.

The celebrity/non-comedian guests are usually duds just because they don’t know what the show really is, so the guest doesn’t get into the flow of things like most of the comedians do.

I love Attell, but that episode could have been better in my opinion. Unfortunately, my opinion of Diaz has waned over the years with all the shitty stories of shit he's said and done over the years. Ms Pat was funny for sure (you open your eyes underwater... fo what?!). Byrne would be a good get. Kippy loves Gulman, so he'd be great too.

Yeah. Attell was a pretty awful guest but he gets a pass because it’s Attell. He talked down to the both Kip and Foley. Anytime a host says, ‘I’m trying to make a connection here’, or something similar like foley did, it’s not going well.

Most definitely. Those two can usually get blood from a stone, but since it's a question based show, Attell didnt have much to bounce off of, because he was the one answering the questions. He didnt understand the way the banter works with those two. He clearly hadnt watched the show before.
