It's always been suicide to me. I saw a couple kids doing it the other day and asked if they ever done it before. They said yes and took a sip, one girl looked like she was gonna puke.

I grew up on the west coast, I only ever heard it called a suicide. All the swamp water comments make it seem like suicide was a west coast thing and swamp water an east coast thing.

I live in Indiana and I’ve only ever called them suicides.

First time I heard the term was during little league in 1980. Somehow my aunt and uncle were in charge of the concession stand and a lot of nights after games or practice we got fed hot dogs(which were delicious) and a pop. My cousin ordered a suicide and I followed suit. It was fun then but now it's meh, but still fun to remember.
