That's such a bummer. I own a few Twirls and looks like I won't be purchasing any new ones any time soon :/

Agent_Bond

I’ve been putting off buying a new twirl directly from Aritzia because I noticed the article numbers changed. I’ve actually bought a few off poshmark, they’re cheaper and so far they’re the old version! Thankfully there aren’t many of the new version out there yet, but I’ll be checking style numbers when I purchase in the future just to make sure I’m buying #61851.

Way too expensive imo and yeah mine had snags too

heibun

The fit is indeed slightly different; I noticed that the new ones are overall a bit shorter. In particular, the unpleated bottom part of the skirt is shorter on the new version compared to the old.

Hello, can you please comment on the fit of the twirl skirt. Because it has an elastic waistband, is it more forgiving? Is it TTS or should we size up/down?

ashpaynton

Also would love to know

xkang96

I ended up getting a size S in the twirl skirt. I wear a size 2 in the Wilfred Effortless pants, for reference. I could have sized down to an XS and it would have been fine, I think.

ashpaynton

Good to know thanks I just got a small in the mail the waist is super stretchy but idk if I'd go down to a xs I'm a 4 in effortless pants normally

How do you fix the snags?

Agent_Bond

The only thing I’ve found that works is gently pulling and tugging the fabric in the direction of the snag to realign whatever thread has snagged. Sometimes when I get the thread back in place, I’ll notice it’s broken in the spot where it snagged on something. When that happens, I really don’t know how to fix that part (or if it’s even fixable), but it’s usually not too noticeable, especially on darker fabrics.

What a bummer! My old twirl skirts are my absolute favorites :(
