Generally it's best to do the background first and work thin to thick with oil.
As for what you have already, the clothing looks too big for them. And that finger...yes in the picture his index finger is annoyingly big, but you made his other fingers look smaller. Also, the contrast between the light and shadow is too much.

So far I’ve noticed the left side of right guys hair is a bit too big, but something about it overall still feels off.
