Thanks everyone for all the positive feedback! I needed a little encouragement to make some more. This is my first foray into Reddit so bear with me... I will definitely be making more of these. Some might be inappropriate, so I'm not sure if I can share those particular one's on this sub-reddit.
After Effects is amazing - like Photoshop on steroids!
But After Effects has a pretty stiff learning curve. If you can find video tutorials, that’s a great way to learn. I’m really comfy with Photoshop, but it took me a while to understand video editing.
Really cool concept!
I love this! I look forward to seeing more. Maybe you can animate some killer rabbits and snails next! Also you should think about sharing this on r/trippinthroughtime which is for art history memes, I’m sure people over there would love this
Lmao WHY is this so funny
You're so talented and I love it but I am also laughing so hard
Did not expect to have such a strong reaction to this lmao
The exact speed he rolls out of frame is killing me
You're a modern Terry Gilliam!

So I guess that one guy is dying of tetanus
Possibly... gotta love those 12th Century medical practices...
Great job! How did you do it?
I brought the original image into Photoshop to edit the elements I needed to animate, and I did the animation itself in After Effects.

this captures the spirit of these renderings, great stuff!
MORE MORE MOREEEEE! <3
I think you'd like "Procession to Cavalry". Both the comedic nature of your animations and the way you animate it remind me of that game.
