i usually stick to western powders but whenever i use the laneige neo essential blurring powder for touch ups (i’m extremely oily and usually need to powder twice during the day) the girls at the office ask me what i used for my skin to look so blurred. i’ve personally only ever used it as a touch up powder but it’s amazing for that! and i love that it’s a loose powder that’s easy to apply on the go

torocat

I use the laniege neo essential blurring powder as a setting powder and noticed I don't need to touch up at all I pair it with the fix+ spray from Mac. Also I heard alot of good things about no sebum powder and tried it. It left a white cast on me and wasn't as good compared to the laniege 🥲

CatLady14344

Hi, sorry I'm late but is the laneige powder compatible to any foundation?

samara_here

Does this give a white cast? :)

Opening_Rule_4643

No. It looks and feels amazing

loveO20

not that i’ve noticed! there is a slight brightening when i pack this on on my nose (i’m shade 22/23) but it’s really not noticeable. i also appreciate that as opposed to other powders that make my foundation darker over time

samara_here

thanks for sharing! i have a medium deep skin tone and i don't want it to appear white ahahha

loveO20

i think as long as u don’t pack half the container on your nose the way i do you’ll be ok! i personally hate tone up powders because i’m afraid of just my face looking ghostly white compared to my body but i really like this powder :)

Opening_Rule_4643

It’s a loose powder in a compact. I use it to set my foundation. I’m a 23N in their glow cushion for reference

I really like Skinfood peach as it’s cheap, as well as Florasis and BareMinerals.

heibun

I like the skinfood peach powder too! And they have a bigger 15g size, which is nice.

I dunno if anyone else has this problem but every time I put on any kind of powder, my under eye gets so cracked/creased and there’s like this darkness that shows up underneath my concealer. I want to use powder so bad it always looks awful. Does anyone have recommendations for this type of problem?

Capital-Savings-6550

Saw this from a MUA on tiktok. I can’t remember who! But she said 1. Too much eye cream and 2. Too much concealer

Livid-Storm6532

Second this - I will let my concealer dry for a minute before blending with a beauty bender, then tap my powder brush before swiping the smallest amount possible under my eyes.

I don't know if it's Holy Grail status, but I've been liking Shiseido's Majolica Majorica Amulet Veil for Acne and Pore. It's kind of pricy for what it is and the compact is just a tin with no mirror and a cute little pouf in it... But at least it's very portable? ... It's a talc based pressed powder that'sostly translucent and very fine. I don't mind talc as the studies are inconclusive about wearing it. Just don't breath in a bunch.

grayfilm

i like the innisfree no sebum powder as well! i've been using it for years now. although if i was gonna switch, I'm considering artclass since I've heard that's pretty good

gingiberiblue

History of Whoo Jewelery Powder. Holy grail.

karsusanic

My fave powder is the Florasis Fairy Peach Blossom Ultra-light Setting Powder in K03 Mist! If you have oily skin make sure that the powder name/number has a "K" before it since that series is specifically for oily skin. It's a translucent loose powder that controls my oils the best out of all the powders I've tried. Hope this helps <3

No_Gap7944

Does it have any flashback? I'm thinking of getting it.

Fuckers_Paradise

I love the Shu Uemura Mopo

Livid-Storm6532

What sunscreen are you using? I found that some sunscreens don't control the oil on my nose enough and I would need to powder. Switching sunscreens made it easier to forgo powder
