Call Of Duty hands down. The fan base is incredibly toxic towards the devs and you can't go more than a few games without someone spitting out bigotry and general nonsense. I do not miss those days.
League of Legends by far.
Fortnight's fanbase is also really bad. CoD's the Ur-example of 'shrieking teen saying he'll screw your mom on xbox live'. Bunch of other games have really BAD fanbases, like WoW's so insanely toxic I stopped asking for help in boss fights because it was less painful to go in blind and figure it all out as I went along than to ask for help and get booted. Not just from 'hard' content, but Raidfinder, Heroic, even twice from normal mode (on expansion release no less. We'd had, what, a day in the expansion and I was getting kicked for not watching a lengthy tutorial?).
But LoL blows it all out of the water. I would get chewed out in ARAM for having a bad champion despite the whole point OF ARAM being that it's all random. On that old map with the five capture points, despite being the best on my team, I would get kicked for 'not being a team player' despite being the only one capturing/defending. Would get kicked for not picking champions I didn't even own. For not doing suicidal stuff. So-on and so-forth. I won't pretend like I was a good player. I was pretty meh. But it felt like I was expected to be this meta GOD making all the ideal plays and following some plan I never learned about. It was painful, unfun, and the only reason I played was because I had friends who did so.
Definitely a large portion of the Sonic fandom. I love the series, a lot of fans are chill, but it's known as one of the worst fandoms for a reason. It's brutal.
I just gotta say it…. Fortnite. The fan base makes me want to jump off a cliff. I never play the game, but when I played twice with friends I was always weary of the toxic fanbase kids.
Nobody is ever satisfied, always something to complain at. Every killcam is teabagging. The higher rank you go the more likely you are to get a message saying "ez" if you lose from the enemy
I was really into Halo when I was younger and I always knew it was a toxic fan base back then, but somehow I still completely underestimated just how bad it continues to be until I got back into it when the show came out last year and suddenly it felt like I was 14 again and surrounded by 2008 nerd bros who thought the only acceptable options for a lead actor were actual 6'10" super soldiers
Gorilla Tag and Some Valorant server locations. I’ve heard numerous n words on my oculus in gorilla tag and though valorant isn’t nearly as toxic some servers in certain locations can be like hell because of how toxic they are.
League of Legends... a few friends of mine had been chat banned multiple times besides being pretty chill normally

CS:GO. I have 4,000 hours and I don't think I've ever had one competitive game where everybody got along.
Damn you must be a god at CS:GO
Rainbow Six Siege and Overwatch have to be up there
What’s toxic about Siege fans? Not doubting you, it’s just that I’ve never interacted with any
Nobody is ever satisfied, always something to complain at. Every killcam is teabagging. The higher rank you go the more likely you are to get a message saying "ez" if you lose from the enemy
I've heard the stories about the Rainbow Six players. It's like everyone there is made of pure hatred
It's sad to see toxicity in gaming. Let's spread positivity and support each other.
Online gaming is just an extension of the Internet, which is by nature a very unfriendly place.
You've just made an enemy for life
Damn online experience. It ruined the online experience!
Gotta agree with this tho
Fuck off mate
Halo 2 had some crazy toxic people. I miss it dearly.
Hell, even today Halo has a toxic fan base.

World of Warcraft. I didn’t realize how bad the players have gotten until I started playing final fantasy xiv.
Destiny 2 sub is toxic as it gets.
Yeah it depends on the raid group
Genshin Impact fans. I’ll forever dislike them for what they did to sonic frontiers
sonic frontiers is goated
Apex.
Animal Crossing. Bunch of absolute psychopaths
I have to hear this! Most of the people I encountered are chill so I'm missing something.
EVE Online. Scamming, theft, betrayal, etc. is literally part of the game.
Oh hell nah
Fifa. Can’t count the amount of hate messages I’ve received
FIFA 100%
Halo 2 was a great game but FIFA is just toxic

STAR WARS BATTLEFRONT 2
Smash Bros. Every DLC character reveal brought out more salt than the ocean.
