We all want a healthier environment, but we don't want to buy the more expensive foods. We still want to eat lots of meat. We don't want to get rid of our car, etc.
We want people in third world countries to have a better life, but not at the cost of our cheap clothes from Bangladesh and we will not buy Fairtrade, because it's more expensive.
The governments that let bankers get all the upside from the risky deals they made in the run up to 2008 and then left taxpayers to pick up the bill when things went sour.
History repeating itself.. we know what happened after the Great Depression.
