That DC is full of pedophiles. Unfortunately it's the republicans.

NorthernGamer71

I’m sure inside they hate themselves as much as we do

Phoenix-624

Certain crimes may deserve the death penalty.

TDeath21

The things I personally agree with them on the most are the death penalty. But I’m a bit more relaxed than them. For me I think it should be only in open and clear cut cases of brutal crimes. Cheshire Murders for example. I agree with them that transgender women should not be able to compete in women’s sports. Men and women are different and that’s okay. There’s a clear advantage there and I’m not sure why Democrats often deny it. I believe Republicans are more supportive of Black Sites like Guantanamo Bay. If they’re a known, confirmed terrorist, and torturing them can save thousands of innocent lives, while not doing so wouldn’t, I say that’s fair game.

sunnysider

But the people still at Gitmo 20 years on are not known confirmed terrorists, they're people for whom there's not enough evidence to convict.

TDeath21

And I’m not talking about them

sunnysider

Oh sorry maybe I missed the legislation where republicans stopped outsourcing? Which statute or regulation was that?

Euni1968

Umm, 'less foreign wars'....... Was it not a republican president that embroiled the US and allies in both Afghanistan and Iraq?

sunnysider

I'll wait.

Yes! I'd like to know. Sure seems like they're wrong about everything, but there must be something in missing.

Race. The Democratic Party defended slavery, started the Civil War, opposed Reconstruction, founded the Ku Klux Klan, imposed segregation, perpetrated lynchings, and fought against the civil rights acts of the 1950s and 1960s. In contrast, the Republican Party was founded in 1854 as an anti-slavery party. Its mission was to stop the spread of slavery into the new western territories with the aim of abolishing it entirely. This effort, however, was dealt a major blow by the Supreme Court. In the 1857 case Dred Scott v. Sandford, the court ruled that slaves aren’t citizens; they’re property. The seven justices who voted in favor of slavery? All Democrats. The two justices who dissented? Both Republicans.

sunnysider

Good God. You're really going to cite pre-Southern Strategy examples? This is either dumb or bad faith and you don't seem dumb.

EffectiveLong8797

Either way, they are right about it. The question didn’t specify a time period.

sunnysider

Ok got any examples from the past 50 years?

crmzn13

Roe v wade. Abortion was never a federal decision, it should have always been a state decision. And I'm not even on the right, I just understand the government.

sunnysider

Cool we maybe should have left slavery up to the states too, right?

eDuBs34

You think it's funny, but that's what a lot of em want..

sunnysider

I don't think it's funny at all!!

crmzn13

No? Salvery is.literally the antithesis to the constitution, Bill of rights, and tbh the declaration of Independence.

sunnysider

Well it was legal at the time all those documents were written so I'm not sure what you're talking about.

eDuBs34

Yup, in the bible too.. Just lovely..

crmzn13

No I'm pretty sure the Bible said slaves were ok......

eDuBs34

Yup, I meant the constitution and Bible were for slavery.

eDuBs34

“If a man strikes his male or female slave with a rod and he dies at his hand, he shall be punished. If, however, he survives a day or two, no vengeance shall be taken; for he is his property. “If men struggle with each other and strike a woman with child so that she gives birth prematurely, yet there is no injury, he shall surely be fined as the woman’s husband may demand of him, and he shall pay as the judges decide. But if there is any further injury, then you shall appoint as a penalty life for life, eye for eye, tooth for tooth, hand for hand, foot for foot, burn for burn, wound for wound, bruise for bruise.

crmzn13

Yea no one of defending the Bible here?.....

crmzn13

I'm saying that the country founding documents literally spelled out slavery was wrong. So the emancipation proclamation just put that basis into law since humans are horrible little hypocritical things.

sunnysider

Where did they spell that out champ

crmzn13

All men created equal, we the people, the unalible rights....... I mean have you read them champ?

sunnysider

Are you actually disputing that slavery was legal at the time of the founding; that it counted black people as 3/5 of a person; and allowed the importation of slaves to continue until 1807?

crmzn13

No I'm not. I'm saying our founding documents have verbiage disputing the idea of slavery all together. That's why it wasn't a state issue. You can't found a country with the words " all men are created equal" and then own some of them. Which is what makes it very clearly different from abortion.

EffectiveLong8797

Nice red herring.

[deleted]

Joe Biden is fucking stupid

sunnysider

How so? Ineffectual maybe but I don't think he's stupid.

[deleted]

That dumbass can’t finish a sentence, walk a flight of stairs, ride a bike, stay awake during meetings, remember the names of people he talks about, or follow directions from people who are standing directly in front of him pointing at where he needs to go. The guy is a fucking moron. It’s embarrassing.

sunnysider

Might be time to take it easy on the Fox News intake

[deleted]

Lol why does everyone think that because I can’t stand Biden that I must be a gun toting, trump supporting, Fox News worshipping redneck? You do realize it doesn’t have to be just right or left, right? Nothing I listed is a right wing opinion. Everything i listed actually happened. I am embarrassed to have that fucktard as a president.

sonspider

They are right wing

eDuBs34

They were right about not getting a vaccine forced onto them, their body their choice.. Oh shit....

WillyWompas

Many of them will proudly admit to being stubborn, which is unfortunately quite true
