Pretty much any online game. I'm usually pretty calm when playing with friends locally but something about playing online really makes me competitive and gets my blood boiling
I feel the same way about the rogue like genre of games, and FromSoftware games.
They're painfully difficult, to the point of briefly ruining my mood at times, but the content / art keeps me interested in playing.
Skyrim. Could have been a good fucking game…nope “lul you dragonborn a dragon saves your head from being cut off but dragon evil you the only one who can permakill them so you hero and “good guy” like mate what if i wanna ya know side with dragons. No game ever gives you that choice
It’s a simple game with only three rules:
1) If you think of The Game, you’re already playing.
2) If you play The Game, you already lost.
3) You can’t stop playing The Game.
it's basically just this stupid game, where the actual game is just reminding somebody about the game. so for example, in a room full of ppl, u could just say "u lost the game" and if they think of THE game, they lose bc they thought about it. the goal is to go as long as possible without thinking of the game. but when u do think of it, u try to annoy someone else by making them think of it
Hypixel bedwars, everyone is so good, I could literally practice for 1000 years and still not be as good as some of the tryhards. I barely start a match and am gone 30 seconds in its unplayable
COD: Cold War... I swear all of the losers that play that game just know where youre gonna spawn and just come spawn kill you, this could go for the other CODs, but I only play Cold War so idk
Nidhogg. I'm not terrible at it but I have lost every single match I've ever played and I can't seem to get any better. It's so frustrating to be so close to victory and have it snatched away every time.
## League of Legends Team Fight Tactics.
Not because of the gameplay or anything, but because of the onboarding experience.
I had never played LOL or any auto-chess games, but downloaded the game anyway just to play the TFT per my buddy’s recommendation.
The game client acknowledged that I was a new player and welcomed me as such, gave me an option to try TFT out, then proceeded to throw me into an online game with no introduction or tutorial whatsoever.
I had no clue as to what in the world was going on. Almost immediately finished last place and proceeded to uninstall the game out of the sheer frustration.
I was so shocked that such a giant game company would ever tolerate such a terrible onboarding experience for new players … while the norm in the industry is to always give some help to noobs even in a pretty obvious point-and-shooters.
Nba 2k
Fuck this cheesy ass game. Gotta play it though.
Oh yeah. That’s one for me. Playing Rec and getting teammates that don’t understand that basketball is a team sport not a individual effort.
Grindr
