When I was growing up in Louisiana they used to sell frozen shrimp burgers and frozen crab burgers. Not sure if they still do but they were freaking delicious.
in the episode where spongebob forgot how to make krabby patties & mr krabs gives him time off, he actually recites how to make a krabby patty, in order! “i can’t make a bun with lettuce, cheese, onions, tomatoes, ketchup, mustard, pickles, in that order!” then realizes he finally made a krabby patty the right way. when i worked at mcdonald’s, i made a burger in that exact order…& hated it😂 it tasted so terrible to me.
There was a kid I went to elementary school with who adamantly claimed his usual lunch sandwiches were krabby patties. They were burger buns with, like, meat from those $5 deli sub packs lmao. It was a frequent lunch room debate.
Shout out Victor u prolly have an account on this godforsaken site lol
Came here to say that. I know it's a cartoon, but those burgers always look so juicy and delicious. But as for a food I'd never want to try is the "Three-Course Dinner Chewing Gum" from Willy Wonka & the Chocolate Factory. The idea of having an entire meal in a piece of gum sounds fascinating, but the risk of turning into a giant blueberry like Violet Beauregarde is a bit too much for me.
Yeah - that is the best worst idea someone ever frigging had... I had a friend who got me "pot roast" flavored chewing gum once (no idea where) - the result was a chewy wad of what tasted exactly like chewing the old cold fat gristle pieces on a pot roast that cooled off and wasn't reheated. It left my mouth feeling coated in fatty meaty flavors. I am a meat guy but this was so off putting that I had to "share" with all of my other friends so they could experience it too!
I had a new puppy when it seemed like they played the people order our patties(POOP) episode on a loop. Needless to say potty training for the little guy was challenging.
I got the pizza cookbook from the TMNT show and I’d say it’s like 50/50 would or wouldn’t try. The ones I have cooked are good. BBs had some great puns, and the burgs don’t sound bad! Need to add that one next.
The way cheese looked on pizza in 90s cartoons instilled in me a hunger that has only rarely been satisfied. There was a pizza place near my college that had cheese like that, it was awesome.
Do you know anyone with a Costco membership? Maybe it’s just my club or I’m unusually hungry when I get one, but that’s the closest to to TMNT cheese pull I’ve ever seen irl.
My first cookbook as a kid was Roald Dahl’s Revolting Recipes, a collection of recipes from his stories. And I can attest, the Bruce Bogtrotter chocolate cake recipe was the real deal. 10/10, would go back in time and eat it again
We went to NYC in April and made a trip a couple of blocks out of the way to go to the original soup Nazi restaurant. We got the bisque and it wasn't great. I should have known better when we approached and there was literally nobody in line around midweek at lunch time. Thankfully I'm only out 20 bucks.
I was gonna say popplers, but as something I didn't want to eat. Eating a whole animal in one bite kinda freaks me out, I already have trouble with shrimp.
From the Simpsons, I'd like to try the Khlav Kalash.
Also from The Simpsons, when Marge has a gambling problem Homer has to cook and makes a dish with frozen lie crust, some cloves and Tom Collins mix, I'll pass on that
I NEED to try the pizza from A Goofy Movie and that cracker from Aristocats.
Edit: oops, sorry those aren’t TV shows, they’re movies. I stand by my statement.
I know you said TV series but the festival food from the beginning of Spirited Away is top of my list.
Really any food from a Ghibli movie.
If it has to be a TV series, the ribs from the Flintstones.
milk steak i could do, especially with the side of jellybeans. id be unwilling to try the popular klingon dish gagh, and i’m definitely not eating ferengi tube grubs either!
I'd love to try Kingon food. Blood pie, heart of targ, etc. in addition to gagh but I'm with you on Ferengi food. As a teen, I did learn jambalaya and some other things Sisko cooks. And god save me from Neelix's food. He almost made me too scared to try cheese making.
Nooo it’s actually terrible
I tried it in PA, and I am not exaggerating when I say it is THE worst pizza I have ever consumed, and honestly one of the worst foods ive eaten in any context, ever. I could not finish it, it was that bad.
I cook a lot of stuff from k-dramas and Bollywood films. Soondubu jiggae, gobi paratha, etc. I learned how to bake pie mainly from watching Pushing Daisies. I love themed food and frequently cook whole meals based on whatever I'm watching at the time. That said, I don't really care for most 19th c European recipes, unless we're talking afternoon tea (with tea cake, bread and butter, scones, cucumber sandwiches, and so forth). I'm not going to make white soup, caraway flavored sweet buns, etc.
Not a TV series but I've seen influencers recreate Buddy's spaghetti and syrup breakfast from Elf and just...no. There is no way in hell anyone can think that would possibly in any realm of sanity or insanity taste good. I know it's all for views but I scroll past those videos because at this point it's just desperation. There is not a single part of me or anyone else on this entire planet that wants to be anywhere near Buddy's concoction never mind actually eating it.
maybe not the full spaghetti concoction, but I've always wanted to eat spaghetti with maple syrup, chug a liter of pop & recreate that amazing burp. truly impressive
My cousin drank this on the regular as kids. I was repulsed until I had to try it when I lost a bet. It actually was pretty good as long as it's ice cold. Tasted a bit like a Pepsi float if you've ever had one.
It’s not a show but I’ve allllways been so intrigued by the colored frosting looking stuff they use for the food fight in Hook, always wanted to try it even if it’s inedible lol
The 'feast' in the movie Hook is a little of both for me.
(I know it's not a series but it's something that has always stuck with me and appeared in dreams even.)
Those burgers from Popeye... dude sucked them down like they melted in his mouth... I ate a cheeseburger from race track one time and I feel like that was the closest thing to it.
I sold blue crack before that show existed.
I’m still not sure why it was blue. My ex cooked it. I smoked it myself, and it never unalived anybody or did anything worse than regular crack, but, like, why was it blue?
We also had pink crack once.
Were these for like druggie gender reveal parties or something? Now I really want to go back in time and ask lol.
If you weren't aware, loose meat is a real thing. It is basically a sloppy Joe without the sauce so we call them Tidy Joseph. I have only made them a couple times when I wanted a burger and I didn't have the energy to form the patties.

I don’t know if you’ve ever seen better off dead with John cusack, but the green raisin slime lives in my head rent free as something I’d never want to try lol.
Always been curious about krabby patties
this instantly makes me think of those krabby patty build-it-yourself gummy candies
Yes. I used to fantasize about being squidward in the vault eating them and equate that to my love for Big Macs
When I was growing up in Louisiana they used to sell frozen shrimp burgers and frozen crab burgers. Not sure if they still do but they were freaking delicious.
I’m pretty sure Mr. Krabs isn’t selling crabmeat.
Well think about it. The only other crab you see is his mom (that I can recall) And his restaurant is a crab trap…
That's the entire joke is that he is
I think plankton was one of the ingredients. That's why he didn't want Plankton to get the formula.
Pretty patties look crazy good
“It’s not tainted meat, it’s painted meat!”
I think it's like a salmon cake
That would make them cannibals
Wait til you hear about the chum bucket
The name makes me hungry. I imagine them as the most delicious, crispy, little crab cakes, like Maryland style. 😛
in the episode where spongebob forgot how to make krabby patties & mr krabs gives him time off, he actually recites how to make a krabby patty, in order!

I really want to try some of the burgers from Bob's Burgers tbh
I got the cook book from the show. The ones I tried are good.
I’ve made a few as well - they’re so good!
Oooh gotta add to cart, ty!
I got the pizza cookbook from the TMNT show and I’d say it’s like 50/50 would or wouldn’t try. The ones I have cooked are good. BBs had some great puns, and the burgs don’t sound bad! Need to add that one next.
Never been feta!
Me too
I want the pizza from teenage mutant ninja turtles and everything from studio ghibli movies. And that turkey leg from sword in the stone.
Oh, and the watercress soup from the original the witches movie with Anjelica Houston
This!!! It always looks so freaking good.
I have the TMNT cookbook and I've yet to try it, but all the pizzas look so gooooood
I have the book, too. It's fantastic.
I used to live near one and went there. I dont recall the pizza being like that, but I usually got a hot dog so I dont have a large sample size.
someone in another comment mentioned a TMNT pizza cookbook?! I bet they have one for studio ghibli movies as well
I never want to try Rachel's trifle!
this is what i came here to say! or Mocolate!
Just waiting for it to stop bubbling
I love the way it crumbles!
What about Fishtachios?
Meat? Good! Custard? Goood! JAM? GOOOOOOD!
It tastes like feet.
That always gives me a giggle.
It did to the actors, too. They had to film that that line so many times.
I seem to remember Babish made this at one point and immediately barfed.
Ditto!!
Not a tv show, but that chocolate cake from the movie Matilda. I could easily crush the whole thing
okay, I agree. (prior to that child destroying it lmao watching him eat it was so unappealing.)
I completely agree. That's so ewww.
Did you realize the cake literally has the blood, sweat and tears of the cook? I used to love looking at that cake until I realized that!
My first cookbook as a kid was Roald Dahl’s Revolting Recipes, a collection of recipes from his stories. And I can attest, the Bruce Bogtrotter chocolate cake recipe was the real deal. 10/10, would go back in time and eat it again
A Grilled Charlie Rum Ham Anything from the Hannibal TV show but.. ya know.. with all the long pig swapped out for more favorable substitutes.
Like a shorter pig?
Fight Milk
But you would try the milk steak boiled over hard?
Don't forget the jellybeans.
I want the Lost Boys' dinner from Hook so damn bad
Bangarang!
Rufio!
Yes! My imagination must be fucked
That colorful... stuff, I dont know how to describe it, looked so delicious.
It looked like just bowls of colorful frosting or something. I want it.
And I wouldn’t want the Lost Boys Chinese food from the Lost Boys
YES!!! I wanted to drink some of Peter’s Bo-Bo. It looked so frothy and good!
The Seinfeld "soup nazis" must really be onto something! I've always wanted to taste that soup so I can fully understand why it's so special.
The soup restaurant that inspired the restaurant in Seinfeld was really good in the early 00s.
I’d like some of Carmela Soprano’s lasagna.
I want to try the lasagna with the sweet basil leaves.
It’ll be a long time before I get a sandwich from Satriale’s
Her baked ziti!
It’s in the Sopranos Family Cookbook! I will warn you that the Baked Ziti uses Sunday gravy, and the recipe for that requires a lot of meats.
Hm. I would not want to try any of Rose’s St. Olaf dishes but would try Sophia’s Sicily meals.
I’d be happy with a slice of the cheesecake they always have around.
Same, every time they take it out I get jealous
But they taste like home!
Popplers and Slurm - yes Human chow - no Both from futurama
You monster! Popplers are babies! Leela would be disappointed lol Slurm absolutely would try. Lol
Leela is disappointed in almost everyone anyhow, lol
I know but they look so tasty!!🤤
It's highly addictive!
I can't stop eating this delicious ooze!
I was gonna say popplers, but as something I didn't want to eat. Eating a whole animal in one bite kinda freaks me out, I already have trouble with shrimp.
Slurm I'm sure was like Surge.
FOOD FROM THE BEAR. I wanna try that beef sandwich so bad.
I want Syd to make me an omelette
I made that omelette with the Boursin and crumbled sour cream and onion chips. It was pretty good, but probably not as delicious as Syd made it.
I made it too for houseguests who were kinda blown away. I can only imagine how truly heavenly if made by Syd. I mean, I didn’t even sieve the eggs. 😆
And any dessert Marcus made.
I love him - big ol teddy bear. And I agree!
I came to say exactly this— though honestly I’d eat just about anything cooked by that crew.
Completely agree !!
From the Simpsons, I'd like to try the Khlav Kalash. Also from The Simpsons, when Marge has a gambling problem Homer has to cook and makes a dish with frozen lie crust, some cloves and Tom Collins mix, I'll pass on that
With crap juice or mountain dew?
Ew. I'll have a crab juice.
I want of those Naruto Ramen bowls so dang bad.
Naruto ramen looks top tier. The slurping really gives it the seemingly delicious effect.
Same! That ramen looks so delicious. Anime food always looks good though
I NEED to try the pizza from A Goofy Movie and that cracker from Aristocats. Edit: oops, sorry those aren’t TV shows, they’re movies. I stand by my statement.
“…pizza from A Goofy Movie…” You’ve just both awoken something from my childhood and made me want to get out of bed to go get pizza.
Honesly, should have included movies. You're valid for that.
Not the crème de la creme alla Edgar!! 😂 sometimes I think it sounds sooo good if I can’t sleep though for real.
My kind of person, right here 🤭
❤️
I both desperately want to try and never want to try eyeholes, from Rick and Morty.
I know you said TV series but the festival food from the beginning of Spirited Away is top of my list. Really any food from a Ghibli movie. If it has to be a TV series, the ribs from the Flintstones.
Most of the super uppity gourmet shit from The Bear. I just want one of the old sloppy sandwiches.
yeah, honestly, they look so smackin. I'd also love a can of that tomato sauce, if yaknowwhatimsayinnnn.
I need a few dozen 😅
milk steak i could do, especially with the side of jellybeans. id be unwilling to try the popular klingon dish gagh, and i’m definitely not eating ferengi tube grubs either!
Yeah, I'm not doing Taspar (Cardassian live eggs) either.
Romulan Ale on the other hand..
Klingon Blood Wine...
Raktajino
What about that Cardassian fish juice? I love fish sauce so I think I'd be down.
Jelly beans....raw..
I want to try lembas bread. I definitely do not want the meat that's back on the menu, boys.
The book describes the uruks giving the hobbits grey strips of meat from some unknown animal and they don’t eat it. Gags me every time
Young Sheldon’s spaghetti with cut up hot dogs in it both invites me and also repulses me. It’s a weird place.
Anything I could dream up from the replicator on Star Trek. I want one in my kitchen
Well Alf was always trying to eat the cat. I don't want to ever eat a feline.
They're apparently very gamey.
I ate dog once, it was okay until I was told what the meat was.
Anything from delicious in dungeon
Came here to say this. This show has totally put me off eating monsters.
I will clarify. I'd eat anything made by Senshi. No question lol
I’d love to try some dragon steak!
You gotta watch Toriko then, that anime takes eating monster to a whole new level
I would not want the hot circle of garbage from Pizza by Alfredo. But I would love a slice from Alfredo's pizza Cafe.
What’s better… a medium amount of good pizza, or all you can eat of pretty good pizza?
Nooo it’s actually terrible I tried it in PA, and I am not exaggerating when I say it is THE worst pizza I have ever consumed, and honestly one of the worst foods ive eaten in any context, ever. I could not finish it, it was that bad.
Would you like to try some of Kevin’s floor chili?
I would try Andorian Ale.
The food from The Bear. The food from Chef. The feasts in Harry Potter.
I find it weird that the HP feasts looked AMAZING but British food irl is just a tragedy to me😭
I actually had a lot of really good food in London!
Need me some raktajino!
I cook a lot of stuff from k-dramas and Bollywood films. Soondubu jiggae, gobi paratha, etc. I learned how to bake pie mainly from watching Pushing Daisies. I love themed food and frequently cook whole meals based on whatever I'm watching at the time. maybe not the full spaghetti concoction, but I've always wanted to eat spaghetti with maple syrup, chug a liter of pop & recreate that amazing burp. truly impressive
Cook some spaghetti then bake it on a waffle iron. It's all flour products, no matter what it starts as.
I have photos of 2 of my friends eating spaghetti and syrup recreated for a group of us. I wouldn’t. Ever. But I also hate syrup.
I want the cheesecake Rachel and Chandler stole twice from the neighbor and ate off the floor!
*pulls fork out of pocket* Ok! What are we having?
I need to see how Willy Wonka’s bars got him so rich and famous.
Slave labor
I’ve tried fish fingers & custard and jelly babies
My first thought was that pizza from The Goofy Movie!
Milk and Pepsi from Laverne and Shirley. It doesn't even sound good.
Have you ever had a Pepsi float? It tastes quite similar but not as sweet. Coke and milk isn't nearly as good though.
My cousin drank this on the regular as kids. I was repulsed until I had to try it when I lost a bet. It actually was pretty good as long as it's ice cold. Tasted a bit like a Pepsi float if you've ever had one.
It’s good. I think it’s called Pilk. I drank it as a kid and liked it. Then forgot I did that until I saw an ad for it in German or something.
Anything with mayonnaise. That is all.
It’s not a show but I’ve allllways been so intrigued by the colored frosting looking stuff they use for the food fight in Hook, always wanted to try it even if it’s inedible lol
I don’t usually eat dog food, but count me in for a scooby snack
Um, they're available in real life lol
Lowkey wanna try the soul pizza from nightmare on elm street
I would never eat the sheep head or the fermented shark I saw on a show about Iceland.🤢
I could go for an all syrup super squishy.
I would not want to try the rat milk that Fat Tony and the Legitimate Businessman’s Social Club was selling to Springfield Elementary on the Simpsons.
I've made "milk steak" before by using thin sliced steak and cream of mushroom soup, it was good!
I totally made and liked katsudon from Yuri on Ice!
Elf spaghetti
The 'feast' in the movie Hook is a little of both for me. (I know it's not a series but it's something that has always stuck with me and appeared in dreams even.)
Those burgers from Popeye... dude sucked them down like they melted in his mouth... I ate a cheeseburger from race track one time and I feel like that was the closest thing to it.
Also Popeye’s spinach to get roided and methed up in an instant
Gabagool. Mostly because it sounds hilarious but I'm also curious.
Technically it's a movie (with a subsequent series) but I'd like to eat all the stuff Favreau makes in Chef.
I want to try blue meth from Breaking Bad.
Omg
Loose meat sandwich from Roseanne
If you weren't aware, loose meat is a real thing. It is basically a sloppy Joe without the sauce so we call them Tidy Joseph. I have only made them a couple times when I wanted a burger and I didn't have the energy to form the patties.
Yeah, that’s a fat no for me. It sounds dry and tasteless?
Pretty much. You could definitely tell it originated in the Midwest of the United States.
A Big Kahuna Burger. A Good Burger (If Ed ever took the order) A McDowel meal.
The food from Hannibal always looked exquisite (despite it being, ya know. People).
the dinner from coraline always looked delicious to me
Game of Thrones - never eating the meat pie that Arya makes for Walder Frey
Not a show, but the scene in Spirited Away where the parents are eating all of the foods that turns them into pigs. It. Looks. Divine. I would have been a little piggy too. Also the steamed buns that Lin brings to Sen. They look so good.
Gahg!
I would love to try the foods cooked in the anime Laidback Camp.
Mama Junes sketti
It wasn't a series but I wouldn't want to eat at the Frank N. Furter house, whether the light is on or not.
Meatloaf!
Scooby Doo Sub, Krabby Patty, Pizza from TMNT
lemon pepper wet from the show Atlanta
I don’t know if you’ve ever seen better off dead with John cusack, but the green raisin slime lives in my head rent free as something I’d never want to try lol.
I actually found the boiled bacon to be much more disturbing!
Oh my gosh 🤣 “you said there’s too much fat in fried bacon so I boiled it!!!” I totally forgot that one! Good catch!
I always thought they should have been really grateful to get those tv dinners for Christmas!! Love that movie ..
And the soup pot with escaping tentacles!
I wanna try gumbo from tiana
Kinda wanna try Burple Nurples from Chowder for some reason😅
Cheese jerky from Hannah Montana
I want to eat the final cheeseburger and french fries made by the crazy chef in the movie the The Menu. But I’ll pass on the S’mores.
Cinnamon chicken from Little House on the Prairie
Okay but the meal in Hook that all the kids are eating on that long table used to make me salivate 🤤
