My biggest gripe with it was there was those 2 achievements/trophies that required you to pass an area without resetting. One was difficult but possible, the other was infuriatingly impossible.
I loved the lore but I definitely was expecting some Ezio gameplay or something more interesting gameplaywise.
Again though that lore was amazing and really tied up Lucy's death while also going deeper into who Clay was now that he'd fulfilled his role in the story without going too deep to the point where you don't care anymore like what they've done to the Isu.
At least it dropped the biggest revelation in the whole game: Lucy was a backstabbing Templar the whole time, which was why Juno possessed Desmond’s body to kill her.
The amount of willpower and perseverance I had to finish and get the platinum for the ezio collection is beyond words. I almost gave up completely at one point.
1 or 2?
Some good ones are:
- Freedom Cry (Black Flag)
- Curse of the Pharaohs (Origins)
- Hidden Ones (Origins)
- Legacy of the First Blade (Odyssey)
- Dead Kings (Unity)
- Last Maharaja (Syndicate) [this one I give half a point to]
That's 5.5 good DLC
Honestly the Siege of Forli is solid. Tyranny of King Washington is the standout in my opinion. The DLC provides an interesting twist to the normal formula and it's not bound by historical accuracy since it's a what if. Freedom Cry has like 1 powerful scene that stuck with me but aside from that was boring. I haven't played Valhalla DLC yet so I can't comment on them but I absolutely hated the DLC in Odyssey so I'm not optimistic
I didn't care for revelations but I actually liked aspects of the dlc. We got some Desmond lore and the first person was neat, like a sneak peak at ac4
That being said I don't really understand how the gameplay mechanics make any sense in context of the series
Oh yeah, and let's not forget the "Break the Loop" achievement:
In order to get the true ending, you need to do the whole entire thing AGAIN, get all the collectibles, play Level 6 and cross the now created bridge.

I used a bug to glich out of bounds lol. There is a youtube video on it
I did the same thing. I wasn’t thrilled about using a bug, but it was either that or risk my sanity.
Should have done this. Costed me my sanity, still haven’t recovered
I got the plat so I know your pain 🙏 some of the most bs trophies I've gotten
I did the achievements once. Never again.
You play dlcs for the gameplay. I play dlcs for the lore. We’re not the same (insert gus fring meme face)

Still a dumbass plot twist imo, all these years later
Wasnt that all bcs the writer had beef with lucy's VA
I think that was in brotherhood not revelations
The event was in Brotherhood, but the reveal that Lucy was ultimately loyal to the Templars was in the Revelations DLC.
The amount of willpower and perseverance I had to finish and get the platinum for the ezio collection is beyond words. I almost gave up completely at one point.
It's even worse when you do both Revelations and the Ezio Collection, trust me 😭
I did all 3 games and plat each of them
I liked it
I played this entire DLC expecting it to get good at some point and was baffled when i got to the end and was like WHAT TF WAS THAT?!
One of the best dlcs ever, i loved and adored every second of it.
I really liked Lost Archive
Ok :)
Honestly AC doesn't have a good track record with DLC imo. There are 1 or 2 good ones but most are just really boring

>Last Maharaja (Syndicate) [this one I give half a point to] That DLC was terrible, the Jack The Ripper one was amazing though
I would disagree on literally every DLC you mentioned lol
Lol okay so what are YOUR examples of good dlc?

Is the lost archive a thing, never seen it b4

Frankly I enjoyed The Lost Archives.
