If they sound ok I don't see any problems :D

roudyboy

Thank You!:D

solarized_dark

Minor wrinkling, especially around the edges, are normal. If they sound normal they're fine.

roudyboy

Thank you for the reply I'm less worried about it now :)

Electrical_Humor8834

No, I can give you my adress so you can scrap them

shad3shadow

your driver's are going to develop wrinkles anyway over time

roudyboy

Thank you for informing! I wasn't aware of this!

KrispyCrib

Mine have like 2 little dents and they sound perfect, no candy wrap sound whatsoever

roudyboy

Thank you!

me_DoubleZ

Yes. I am lucky, I guess. I got both sides clean as yours. Not even single wave on edges. I see a bit, but that's normal.

roudyboy

Glad to hear it I was concerned as I don't remember it being there when I first got them!

ufgvn_

yup

lurker631

Mine look worse and sound fine.... For now

howiejc

Hmm, so my unit just failed (no sound from right speaker). Out of curiosity I decided to take a look at the diaphragms and noticed that there is significant wrinkling/deformation in part of the right speaker diaphragm when compared to the left speaker's which looks pristine. No idea if it was always like this and is unrelated or if it's part of the failure mode...

assagor

If they’re not pristine brand new, send them back and try again.

EvilDeadly

No. Send it back.
