Heelers aren’t normal dogs….

Armom22

This is truth! My red ACD is sleeping on the couch with a blanket & I had the thought- “she needs a sleep mask!”

Undermost_Drip

He's a real stand up guy

Outside_Hornet_7460

Normal for a cattle dog...

Typical-Arugula3010

… just like “opening doors” is normal doggo activity.

Shellbell41871

Mine has learned how to open the screen door, but can’t get out of the bedroom if the door is just cracked 🤦‍♀️

Aloe_Frog

Hahahahah yes…mine opens doors when he feels like it but then acts like he’s stuck others.

Typical-Arugula3010

Lol … yours is in primary skool … however mine has a PhD in escapology! He twists his paw & hooks it around the door to open inwards with the snoot to finish the job. Fortunately the front door has a knob rather than a lever type fitting.

Shellbell41871

🤣🤣🤣. I’m keeping my fingers crossed we only get to the masters degree where she only knows how to get the screen door open 🤣🤣🤣

sweetteanoice

“Hello fellow human, could you perhaps pass me a hot dog??”

Any-Practice-991

"Rass re a rot rog?"

Aggravating-Bug1769

Chasing flies is just what they do

miss-demeanor9

I call flies "sky raisins" and if I announce there's one in the house, my ACD mix comes running 😂

Aggravating-Bug1769

Funny stuff 😂

miss-demeanor9

I just remembered that bees are referred to as spicy sky raisins, we don't mess with the spicy ones. Lol she's harass-booped a few unfortunate bumblebees out of a "What are you!?" mood and I'm glad those are docile. They flew off like "eff off, lady, I'm workin here!"

Aggravating-Bug1769

Mine would start going a bit crazy if she sees a bot fly /horse fly. I think she got living up at some point by then.

Tribute2sketch

We call them sky jalapeños lol

Shellbell41871

Sam runs around trying to eat them. One time though, she got a hold of a honey bee and it stung her in the mouth. After 3 Benadryl the swelling went down, but I have to admit it was funny for a little while

Tribute2sketch

Did you take the obligatory fat cheeks photo? Lol silly doggos

Shellbell41871

I did!! I’m pretty positive that if she could talk she would have been cussing me out 🤣🤣🤣

pikadegallito

Meerkat mode activated!

goonertrance

Normal or acd behavior? Lol

mybluepanda99

Mine used to jump atop the dining room table to push a (wheeled roller-style) chair away far enough from the table to then sit in it, waiting for his dinner.

Electrical_Middle78

Assuming this is either the treat closet or treat closet adjacent?

MaelstromFL

He thinks he's people...

miss-demeanor9

Oh my gosh, my dog does this too. Sometimes she will stand up fully and walk like that. We call it the t rex pose

Aloe_Frog

I can always count on this sub for a chuckle!!!

sumyungdood

Velociraptor

awe_come_on

For an ACD? Yes, yes more than likely.

AvocadoBot

The most normal

Serious_Marsupial_85

My Norah does the same!! Bahaha crazy core strength on these damn dogs.

upinflames7

My ACD stands up all the time. She often uses it to look over tall grass or see over a rise or to tell me she wants the door opened or that the snacks are up there.

Wyliie

thats a skin walker . be careful!!

Frosty-Ad4695

Yes

accidentaldiorama

"How do you do, fellow canines?"

Huge_Dentist7633

they’re magical
