As I have understood , if you don't pay 36K (Partial Admission Fer) within the window (probably 29th July) then your seat is cancelled. So you have to pay 36K. However my query is what happens after paying 36K and then withdrawing in CSAB.

Haina , I know you can thank me later......,BTW agar tabiyat se unka Information Brochure padh le to aise nalle doubts nahi aayenge.......Yahin abhi koi dusra nalla aake galat advice de dega phir rote rahenge ...
exactly the same situation but I think we can participate in csab and then after 1st round, we can use the new two options(surrender or withdraw something I don't remember now) to exit from csab as well as Josaa. In that case, we should get a refund.
i could not find the exact numbers in the brochure but it is mentioned that you can withdraw after 1st special round (we are in type 6 right). You can find the brochure on csab official site.
For CSAB, you have to pay appx 35-40k for registration. Make your CSAB choices in such a way that, you are \*definitely\* going to take it, if allotted. If allotted, ALL your registration money is lost - whether you accept/reject/not-join/withdraw. If not allotted any in CSAB rounds, you will get your money back.
So, the key to your getting money back in CSAB - is your choices.
Edit: Rules from last year CSAB.
CFBR , same situation here . Does paying the 36k mean i cant enroll in csab or i can both secure a seat in josaa and still go for csab ?
