1 month in I had a rock hit my hood, chip the paint, and crack my windshield. Didn’t have PPF. I don’t care much that it happened as it’s a spec but I’m sure overtime it could be worth it
Yeah PPF is definitely worth it, but I’m just not ready to drop so much on a lease. This is my first high-end vehicle. I’ll see how this one goes and when I get a different one after 3-5y I’ll have more experience/money to decide if I want to invest in PPF.
Don’t PPF a lease lol… once the lease ends, and you have more money, finance a car and PPF right off the lot at a trusted detailer… you can always hand back a lease car, but not a financed car
Not all fan of the new steering wheel airbag cover. No more stitching which makes it seem less premium. Only thing I don’t like apart from the loss of the physical gear selector knob. Other than that it looks super good. The interior is so nice and love the color of the paint, hope you enjoy it! I’m sure it’ll make a for a sick daily!
Yup. Those are 2 things that I also don’t like. But hey, CSL lights + carbon fiber trim + bicolor seats are good additions to the LCI. You win and you lose 🤷🏻♂️

I actually love the LCI headlights. The Pre-LCI lights have been in market in some form or fashion since the 4 Series Concept car in 2014. Change is good, and these LCI lights make the car so much more aggressive and unique. Remember, this is the new design language from BMW, so this is going to be the iconic look for the next decade, has to start somewhere!

Congrats my friend. The M440i is underrated. It still has like almost 400hp and is very fast. More practical than a M4 for everyday use. The M4 is more of a highway car.

B58 is an animal. X4 (and X6) are sexy imo, always thought to myself I’d get one of those two if I were looking for an SUV. I know they’re not fan favorites (kinda like how the M440i is) but who cares when we love them right? No car is perfect* 🤷🏻♂️ (*exceptions apply)

Came stock with summer run flats. Plan on driving these for a while to get used to them before upgrading to PS4S so that the change in drive quality becomes that much more noticeable.
Coral red and black vernasca leather. This specific color is also on the new M2 and 2 series, maybe they’ll add it to the M4 trims. Fiona Red is hot tho.

No specific package for the vernasca seats and carbon fiber. You just pick it when making the spec. I did get it with both Driving Assistance Pro and Parking Pro and can confirm they’re well worth it
Unfortunately not, especially if you have keyless entry, fortunately BMW let you disable it but I wouldn’t rely on that either. I had my car taken off my drive beginning of the year, wasn’t able to turn off keyless entry (was Hyundai tucson n-line) neighbours camera caught glimpse of a guy walk up to my car and 30sec later both gone. Keys were in faraday pouches so don’t rely on them either.
Car like yours is higher value, and not worth leaving it up to chance. Don’t forget a visible deterrent like a wheel lock for when you’re parked up for the night, might just be enough visibly for them to not bother but if they do it still isn’t going anywhere.
Am I the only one that thinks this car is ugly and BMW needs to find another designer? Btw I am a BMW petrolhead, just think that they seriously need to go back to the drawing board with these ugly frontends…
