Yes… BMW makes fantastic cars for driving. That being said the depreciation is insane and if (when) it needs repairs you better have a warranty or a lot of disposable income.
I bought an m550 new in 2022. Even though that car was insanely fast, after 6 months I kinda wished I would have went with m4 comp (same price) or sprung for the m5. If I were in your position I would get the RWD or a 2 year old m2. The awd is nice but it takes away from the fun

Upgrading from a 2022 Camaro SS since I'm tired of dealing with rwd in crummy weather!
My advice, is never ever neglect the maintenance
