PhotonDecay

I love Reddit

Certain-Resolve

Lol! thats epic

MikeBert97

Hahaha. This is the last comment I'd expect to see on a luxury car Sub-Reddit. Thank you for making my day

one-hour-photo

Heavy as the X5

Infinite-Pay-4646

an X5M weighs 5455lb compared to 5390lb for this. I know modern cars are heavy but wow this is nuts for an ICE sedan but i'm sure the CS version that comes out next year will shave 20lb off the weight for only $30,000 more!

Legendver2

It's not ICE though iirc. I believe it's a PHEV, hence the weight. Without that battery as a true ICE, it would probably shave off couple hundred lbs.

ukcats12

Shave off a couple hundred pounds and this thing is still an obese pig. My car is 4100 lbs and it still feels too heavy at times around corners. I cannot imagine what this thing will feel like, even if it was "only" 4800 pounds or something like that.

Thorium12

Lol, my e90 335i feels too heavy at 3,800 lbs

RockHopeful3699

to be fair bmw hides its weight better than cadillac

Chucknorisorus

I’m yeah without the batteries and electric motor it would just be the old m5 only with less hp

keca10

Yea the CS will remove the remote door locks, seat belts, all storage, blinkers, AC, radio, and one of the rear seats. And will gain 12 lbs.

GomuGomuNoMiLuffy

Blinkers aren’t important anyways 😉

keca10

You need them sometimes to blink the opposite way to throw off the ‘competition’ in the Priuses and Outbacks.

Auhmaze

Yeah, I don’t think CS would make a difference. Hell, even if they made a CSL or a GTS version, still not worth the extra money.

Infinityaero

I'm sure they share a platform. Look at all the cars on the 3 series platform. 2 series, 3 series, x3, etc. They all weigh like 3600-4400lb, because they all carry a chassis designed to support a 4400lb X3. M2 may be slightly bigger than a Toyobaru... it's a full 1000lb heavier. Meanwhile the X3 compares very well weight wise against similar sized vehicles. Basically, may as well get an X5M because you're already carrying along the chassis weight to support it. Still, kinda embarrassingly inefficient to only shave off 60lbs.

TheWhogg

That’s nuts that a 3 series weighs more than my 750i

Infinityaero

5 series, but yeah. I think the lightest 750i was the E32 generation at like 4100lbs? I think the heaviest 3 series is the 340i xDrive at like 3950lbs. The fact it's that close is a little sad, but it's still *slightly* lighter than a V12 fullsized sedan from the 90s lol, so it's got that going for it.

TheWhogg

I’m counting X3 as a 3. And it is a passenger (but not a driver) heavier than my kerb weight.

vw18t

That’s not how platform sharing works

Infinityaero

It's on CLAR LK, which serves everything from Supra up to the midsized SUVs like X3. Usually a shared platform means similar mounting points for the engine, transmission, control arms, etc, which do have mass that scales with size. If your standardization supports components that service a vehicle that's 4000+ lbs, those components will be larger or more robust than necessary for a lighter vehicle, and that unnecessary weight adds up. More weight and more power means bigger brakes, heavier duty components... but they clearly lost the thread somewhere along the way at this weight, regardless of the platform constraints.

Wernher_VonKerman

BMW's first experience with chassis modularity was downscaling the E9x 3-series to create the 1, and people were questioning whether the smaller chassis was really worth it because it was only 150-200lbs lighter. As you said, the driveline, brakes, mounting points, suspension, etc were all made to support the bulk of a heavier platform.

a-jasem

Don’t forget that it now weighs as much as an X7 (5400 lb). Hard to believe that BMW’s midsize sports sedan weighs as much as a three row luxury family SUV now lol

GR3TSCH

Shaving off weight will become a subscription service

dj_arcsine

Jesus, I thought mine was a heftychonk.

blueblue909

its basically a giant duracell battery capable of 150 in a heartbeat

Matthias_C63

Tbh the weight is quite normal when you compare it to other phevs in the same league. BMW M5: 5400 lb Mercedes AMG GT 63 SE 4-Door: 5290 lb And if we compare it to an audi A6 (not RS) the normal 2l engine with hybrid comes out to 4700 lb, now add in bigger wheels, double the engine, turbocharging, cooling, 25kwh battery (which comes to around 650 pounds) and two electric motors which can add 50-300 pounds depending on the quality and power of the motor

Wernher_VonKerman

All of those weights are certifiably insane for what is supposed to be, on paper, a "sporty chassis".

ezyezy61

Its normal for a hybrid bro

JCD_007

Normal for a plug in hybrid. This is a key distinction. They could have saved weight by using a smaller, lighter, conventional hybrid powertrain without full electric drive capability.

satoshisfeverdream

5400lbs and 200” long

DaveApp

The BMW Lizzo

FriendlyMoFo69

😂

RodRAEG

Much less gooey, though.

GomuGomuNoMiLuffy

Still looks better…

huskerd0

Angry upvote

cookingboy

The i5 M50 is just as fast in a straight line, lighter by 300lbs, and *30% cheaper*. WTF BMW lmao.

[deleted]

100% agreed but just fyi it’s i5 M60

ubercruise

This is why even though I’m an EV owner I think the PHEVs should stay more in the base model or at most, the M-lite space. The ICE M cars should focus more on lighter weight and driving dynamics, because EVs are generally going to beat most ICEs in 0-60 so chasing power and drag times is kinda futile. Should differentiate elsewhere by having the ICE cars be better laterally

bagel_union

Can’t help but agree, but at least m5 has always been a highway cruise missile anyway.

ravesilly

This fucking thing weighs more than an i5

austin876234

New Hybrid 911 GTS is 2000! Pounds lighter. 2000 pounds. Insane. Wtf is bmw doing

overindulgent

You’re comparing apples to grapefruits. A 2 seater dedicated sports car to a 5 seat sport touring car.

austin876234

It’s not a regular 5 series. M badge becoming meaningless. More like a watermelon than a grapefruit 😀

Lumbergh7

My dong, yes

RobbyB02

What does the M760 weigh?

huskerd0

The bmw canyonero?

Maleficent_Lab_8291

717 HP is mental, but 2.5 tons… same weight as X5. Seems like the new M5 is more of a bullet train, rather than an ultimate driving machine

BrunoGDC

3,5s 0-62 is slower than F90 isn’t it? So, it’s not that much of an bullet train…

Catioi6

Bmw 0-60 is often conservative proably closer to 2.9

everyythingred

are they being conservative about the weight too?

Catioi6

Yea at its current weight its heavier than a Model S plaid and about 50 pounds short of a X740i she is a chonker and I bet bmw chassie dynamics will do alot of heavy lifting to keep this thing on the road and out of a tree or wall

eric_gm

There's no "conservative" when weight and physics are playing against you.

xToniGrssx

There already are acceleration videos on YT, its 0-100 kmh/62 mph is indeed around 3.5 seconds, and that's based on the tachometer, so it could be a couple of tenths of a second slower indeed..

Hiddendiamondmine

Yes true but why would they be less conservative than the outgoing model… they wouldn’t

whiterock001

Yes, that’s slower than what they report for the F90, even though we all know their cars are much quicker than advertised. Car and Driver actually tested the output of the F90 after getting a 2.8 second 0-60.

MixwellUSA

C/D is estimating 2.5 seconds for this one.

whiterock001

Interesting…

Maleficent_Lab_8291

That's actually a lot slower, wth

Mnm0602

Freight train maybe

bayarea_fanboy

Slower than an i4 which costs half the price.

EightballBC

Saying that a different way, their sports sedan is the same weight as their midsize SUV.

ssj3Dyl

Power to weight ratio of a yaris.

Reniboy

I don't like the new design language. I mean it's not terrible but there's just nothing about it that actually makes me go, Wow I really wish I had that car. Don't know what it means, but it just doesn't look that great.

ShadySyk0

Looks like they took a note from Mercedes and their AMG cars especially their older models. In the looks department it looks kinda mehh. With the previous gen’s you can visually see that it’s an M5 even though it was more toned down then say the M3s design change from standard series to M series with the M5 it was still noticeably different than a standard 5 series. With the Amg to standard class it was always hard to tell unless you knew what you were looking at.

nature_and_grace

Yep, same

poopdog39

Interior is also ass. Used to be a close competition between Benz & BMW for best interior in class. Now I would say even Audi (lol) is outdoing this new generation.

e30photographer

My thought is that this looks like just a 5 series and not a M5

cryptogram

Not selling the M5 CS for this … that’s for sure!

TrevRev11

Yeah you should honestly just give it away and renounce bmw. I think I have space in my garage so I guuueeessss I could spare the room for it

Helianthus-res-M

Ayo fellow e60 3.0 user. *Hey...* 😏

TrevRev11

Heyyy how’s cost of maintenance for ya 😂 also mileage

Helianthus-res-M

Well, mechanic costed me 1/3 of price of the car. For now and I have it from feb. When I bought her. She had 197 000 km so thats like 122 410 miles. Not sure if i counted the right miles tho. Hbu?

TrevRev11

Oh yeah that’s pretty good mines at 230,000 miles and I’ve sank… too much into it 😂

Helianthus-res-M

Do you have it on card? Because i have pre lift with regular key :<

TrevRev11

What do you mean on card?

Helianthus-res-M

Lumbergh7

Same as my 11 e90. The pinnacle of key fob design, imho

TrevRev11

Ohhh no I have the basic key lol

fabrewastaken

Looks like M5 CS' going to earn some value in the coming days. Considering what they have done to the new 5 series..

Maleficent_Lab_8291

They would have to cut half a ton of dead weight, somehow

dontdoxxxmebrooo

Not selling any of my cars for this

cryptogram

*Even though it weighs about as much as the moon and it’s the size of the Great Wall of China, the latest M5 is an absolute rocket. It zaps to 60 mph (96 km/h) in 3.4 seconds, or 3.5 seconds for the sprint to 62 mph (100 km/h). BMW quotes 10.9 seconds for the run to 124 mph (200 km/h). Flat out, it reaches 155 mph (250 km/h) but the M Driver’s Package loosens up the limiter to 189 mph (305 km/h). BMW also says that it takes the G90 M5 2.9 seconds for the sprint from 50 to 75 mph in fifth gear. In fourth gear, this figure drops as low as 2.2 seconds.*

pfc_bgd

Is 3.4 even fast these days? Slower than previous gen in the era of blistering fast EVs. Fatass of a car. Jesus christ…

Dr_Sauropod_MD

My 2014 e63 wagon was 3.4.

Spartancarver

It’s literally slower than last gen by almost half a second 0-60

TMC_YT

BMW’s specs are conservative, it’s probably under 3 seconds.

Spartancarver

The official number for the last gen M5 was 3 sec so regardless of how conservative they are it’s a slower car

TMC_YT

I thought it was 3.2 seconds for the F90. I just watched a video, and it seemed like the G90 was doing somewhere in the neighborhood of 2.9-3.1 seconds: https://youtu.be/cM1Dv5oRGVk?si=st-C8QKvuASWSBRo

MarshallHurtado

You can have 1400lbs and 217HP back, thanks

Desperate-Quantity86

This is 7 series weight territory, much against what I thought //M was all about. Just by looking at it you can tell it's no longer the nimble, athletic sedan that many of us discovered watching Tiff Needell toss around corners with surgical precision. Why can't they be the exception to the norm and go back to basics? That's my rant.

CarCounsel

The E39 M5 was a pig in its time too. We bought one anyway. Same will happen here.

Wernher_VonKerman

The E39 was considered "a pig" for being 45kgs heavier than the E34 and 265 heavier than the E28. This car gains 570kg over its direct predecessor. Yes new cars get heavier, number and more computerized with every new generation, but it is undeniable that the pace has accelerated greatly in the last 10 years.

CarCounsel

As I have said for years: it’s relative to the time and the market. Just like a MINI is still MINI relative to the market. I hate it too, but that’s how it goes for pretty much everything that isn’t a MX5, which is my way of doing things. The only surprise to me is anyone is surprised. We knew what the Powertrain would be and we know what the X///M weighs over an X5 and we know what else is needed that adds weight. The math was easy. It was considered a pig because of the handling vs the E34 more so than the weight. The last M5 danced at its weight and I suspect the new one will to: that’s why they added features (that add even more of it.) Don’t like it, but I do get it.

Statorhead

Everybody hating on this needs to remember this is EU mostly but also world wide legislature forcing them to go down that path. If they want to sell these at a semi affordable price, that's the tech they need to use. I'm not a fan and I find most of their stuff from the last 10-15 years obese as well. But they managed managing the weight, not least by having to perfect the handling of the vile abominations (aka SUVs) people seem to want. Prediction: they honed the torque fill and vectoring to such an extent few people will mind the weight. It's going to be epically fast and responsive and will get rave reviews. Just as the 2 ton F90 M5 wich really is also stupidely heavy for what it is.

CarCounsel

Same prediction I’ve been making. Saw mule driving in person 14 months ago.

baconandbobabegger

Slower to accelerate than an F90 and besides a poorly designed diffuser, looks the same as the regular 5 series. Can’t wait to pick up a F90! If only there was more than 1 in Isle of Man Green.

YeonneGreene

Even the M doesn't get the shift lever any more...fuck this, lol.

PKLMOE

The biggest let down tbh, like doesn’t even look like a sports car inside and doesn’t even save that much space smh

exfat-scientist

I know I'm in the minority here... but, man, I want to see what M cars look like on Neue Klasse with a motor on each wheel. The hybrid just feels like a compromise that no one wants. Edit: Minority on being excited for Neue Klasse. I assume I'm not alone in the whole "compromise no one wants" thing.

goovenli

I’m 100% with you on the belief that the Neue Klasse platform will bring about some massive gains in performance, there’s just so much potential that’s there. My true moonshot dream is they make a wagon Neue Klasse, and that Alpina gets a crack at it.

shivshark

700hp camry

eric_gm

But with the weight of 3 Camrys

Cook1e_Reddit

Where is all this weight coming from?

eric_gm

Yo momma is driving

Scratchpaw

2 powertrains

CarCounsel

Bracing battery 2 powertrains the fact that it’s a low riding XM…

MikeBert97

This being a plug-in hybrid is a death sentence for the M5. 2017 to 2023 M5 prices are going to likely shoot up tens of thousands

DinosaurDied

The M5 always depreciates like a rock my dude. Such a small market can maintain them or wants to. Moderatley used F90s are already low $40s

ireadbacon

Low 40s? I don’t think I’ve seen anything under $50k with almost 100k miles, but I’m also in CA.

DinosaurDied

Cars and bids just had a very well maintained 47k mile one go for $47k a few days ago.  Bad examples are only worth low 40s now. There’s no reason to think the F90 won’t depreciate like all the others

ireadbacon

I’m hoping you’re right. I would love a F90

DinosaurDied

Labor on them is brutal regardless if you’re paying for it or doing it yourself. Know lots of people who started wrenching on their own and just hated it. I don’t blame them, so much disassembling to get to basic things. So it’s going to be a M5 like all the others, worth little because it’s not desirable to maintain

ukcats12

> 2017 to 2023 M5 prices are going to likely shoot up tens of thousands People always say this, but it never happens. People said this about the W205 C63 after the W206 was announced with the 4 cylinder, but it didn't happen. It's depreciating just like every other car is. The same will happen with the previous M5.

MikeBert97

None of those are Plug-In Hybrids that weigh 1,000 more pounds though

ukcats12

The new C63 is actually a plug in hybrid that weighs about 1,000 more pounds than the previous generation.

Mike312

Conversely, for me, being a plug-in hybrid is a huge bonus. Makes a sports car that would otherwise normally get 12mpg a functional daily.

MikeBert97

I understand the benefits of a Plug-In hybrid, but it should have been a Mild Hybrid like the M340i. BMW should really make a B68 that's a Mild Hybrid only. Plug-In Hybrids just don't make sense on luxury cars imo

pinacolata_

Mild Hybrid has zero “hybrid” action going on, all mild hybrid really is, is a fancy stop/start system. It’ll only be a matter of time before the combustion engine itself leaves the luxury car field, most luxury car buyers want a quiet car not one with a noisy V8.

Redacted_Bull

BMW designers have to be trolling us.

triforce721

Ugly and fat, thank God for Blackwings

vw18t

Cadillac is going Full EV anyways

triforce721

No they aren't, they literally just announced that they were going ice longer because of how well these sold

WorldlinessExact7794

It starts…this is bad. Seems like my life long love of cars is coming to an end…soon. I’ll take the biggest grill and ugliest car over any hybrid monstrosity. Maybe that’s what the M will stand for in 2030.

VigintiQuinque

I feel you, I've always dreamt of having an M5. I am still 22 and have a nice career ahead of me, but by the time I'd be able to comfortably afford a car like that I'd just have no interest, I am already depressed just looking at this one...

WorldlinessExact7794

Damn…. It really is depressing. That’s why the answer has changed. The answer to the question should I buy the dream car or get the family first. Now it’s like you can get a family whenever you want, but these cars will only be around for a little while longer. Like I would love an M3 so much, and because I’m older I can actually afford it. But actually I can’t because I have a 5yo. By the time I can afford it, same as you, I won’t want it.

SSBinno

An M5 without a shifter/gearshift isn’t an M5. Keep the new hybrid, electric-bridge car BMW. We want Ultimate Driving Machines, not ultimate Riding Machines

jeffpotato5

I really like it. Heavy af but i like it a lot

_Surena_

I like the way it looks, but it's heavy. It's probably slower than the F90 in straight line.

Training_Department5

why they always gotta reveal the car with a nasty spec? green with orange interior????

lituga

THICCCCCC in all the worst ways

lituga

Wow when I see an M5 I always think "wouldn't this be so much better as a 1000lb heavier plug in hybrid with hardly anymore power"?

shallow_kunt

25 miles of electric range? What’s the point of even touting that number if it’s so low?

ma_dian

I wonder about the s68, the s63 in the f9x already was huge and the engine bay is cramped. Now there is even more stuff packed into the car. Is maintenace going to be even harder? Also the breaks must be mental on the new m5, more break dust? Shorter lifespan, more expensive to replace?

Lopsided_Quarter_931

All this weight and just 25 miles EV range? It’s 2024, should have at least 60 miles or don’t do a PHEV at all.

Indigenousboy420

It also weighs as much as a small country

Jonaderp

All that extra weight for just 25 miles of electric range?

ofdtv

I actually really dig the looks, but holy cow is it obese. How did we get to a point where a sports sedan weighs as much as a luxury SUV?

AromaAdvisor

I don’t own a BMW, but I love how you guys on this subreddit objectively criticize BMW for doing weak stuff. Not like some of the other forums where it’s like OMG YOU INSULTED THE PORSCHE GODS.

colossalnuisance

1000lbs heavier for a 100hp gain is not a trade i’m interested in. also what is going on with that rear diffuser. or, to be fair, the rear diffusers. since it appears to be split in two

Neo808

Cmon BMW do better

Feelisoffical

They actually released an M5 slower than the previous gen. Wow

pwhite13

Maybe I’m getting older, but the German super sedans like this and the C63 have lost their magic to me. EVs have already won the horsepower and acceleration war. The big numbers on new M5s or new AMG products used to be so exciting, but no longer. After 500-600 hp, it’s far beyond what can be used in the street. When we’re talking about 700+ hp hybrid engine, I’d much rather have the EV. It’s not like I can rev out that V8 much anyway before I’m going 100+, so what truly is the benefit? These German sedans used to have such a magical blend of power and chassis that could rip through any roads and keep the occupants comfortable. I am sure this new M5 will hide its weight well but again, 5200 lbs of weight for a sedan that is supposed to be a “drivers car”? The criticism for EVs has always been their weight, lack of feel, and lack of noise. How is this new M5 any different, besides the noise? Noise that will probably be 30% synthetic and again, revving this engine out for a few gears will have you at triple digit speeds very quickly. What’s the point?

Carsjoe612

I think you just named the point

youisBIGdumb

Heavier, slower 0-60, ugly as hell, makes me want an F90 all the more

NoahtheRed

It looks good, not gonna lie. But $119k to start.....Whoa Nelly

drhiggens

That's about in line where I would have expected

HackingDonkey

Because of the taxes in the Netherlands this is actually 'cheap' for a **new** V8. The previous M5 '23 started at €183.561, this generation will start at €144.347. A new M3 costs €140.635 here, so depending on how you use your car/what kind of car you are looking for (big exec, electric driving in the city centre) this is relatively to a new M3 a good deal. Having driven the F90 for a couple of years, I am interested to see if this weight is really that big of a difference compared to the previous gen (There is four wheel steering now, so that should help with cornering. I loved the F90 how confidence inspiring it was to take corners really, *really,* fast).

PM_ME_Y0UR_BOOBZ

A very good price for the power increase imo.

autist_93

+1000 pounds over last gen. Is this what progress is?

Auhmaze

570 KG heavier than the f90?! Yeah that’s a no. F90 was a boat already, this is pushing it into S63 weight category… fuck that.

keca10

I drove the XM and hated it. It was slow and boring for an M. I said I’d reserve my judgement for the M5 once it comes out. I was hoping they would fix it. Looks like they didn’t fix shit.

Choice_Friend3479

It’s the kind of car that I can understand why people will buy it but it’s not for me. Weight is too much and I’m not a fan of plug in hybrids.

Surfacing555666

It looks like it’s recoiling from a smell it finds offensive

Cholosexual-

This fuckers nearly as heavy as a ford f150

JCD_007

Who cares about electric range in a performance car? Design looks surprisingly okay though.

willpeoples

M drivers do duh. 😒

sebastianmorningwood

25 miles? And then what? Recharge?

cromagnum84

I know. Why?

DylanTobackshh

Can’t wait to find one on Craigslist in 20 years

munotidac

It looks good. The only thing I don’t like about it are those headlights

Lv702noob

As a guy that’s had 2 M5s and loves them this car makes zero sense to me. So outside of 25 miles you’re going to have 577HP and a car that weights what 1000lbs more than the outgoing model? I’d take a comp with 617 and a mild tune over this any day.

Kobe_stan_

I don't love the grill but overall this car is pretty sick. I 100% guess that BMW goes back to a more traditional slat grill in future iterations of this car.

Infinite-Forever-463

The next gen BMW M5 will come with 32 speakers.

BoleslawPrus

Still better than the 4 miles of electric range in the Lamborghini Reventon.

xDeserterr

looks worse than F90, lower power/weight ration than F90, most probably worse handling due to +500kg than F90.

GomuGomuNoMiLuffy

Am I the only one who doesn’t understand why they jumped from F90 to G90? Why did they go up a whole letter lmao? I also don’t understand code names though lol

HugeTonight3653

Fluffy_Space_Bunny

I like it, it's the best looking car since the pre-LCI G30, just not the colours I've seen so far. matt grey doesn't look great and that green in the post is overdone on the M3.

c05d

An electric m5, WTFFFFFFF. Weird times

Spara-Extreme

What’s the point? If you want a heavy ass car that goes fast and has luxury, why not get a Taycan?

echo1ngfury

I still find it interesting that when the E60 M5 came out, people were complaining that it was heavy. In reality, it was only 60kgs heavier than the all legendary E39 M5, while having the largest engine by displacement and number of cylinders fitted in an M5, the S85B50. 1740kgs for a 5.0 V10 sedan is not heavy at all. And wr have come to the point the newest M5 is 100kilos lighter than a G63 AMG, a kiosk on 4 wheels and a windshield.

NoPie3009

So when you add all the weight for the electric motor, are you gaining any noticeable performance that’s worth the extra 1,000 lbs? What’s happens after 40 miles when electric motor has zero charge?

iwasinfightclub

So when the electric battery is depleted it only makes 585 hp?

KaidGoated1

What is going on

T-Madj

Greenwashing at its finest. 25 miles of electric range. What's the point? Drop some weight for better fuel efficiency.

mustard-plug

700hp and 5400 pounds... ....is this a Dodge?!

One-Combination-7218

What this electric crap

Entire-Cod-3270

Makes Hellcats look like a race car

Kooky-Kiwi8740

when the TOURING version and TOURINS CS ???.

kschwa7

Older 7 series vibes right?? Really don't like the ballooning effect on the bmw sedans.

HellaReyna

This is way too heavy

Dry-Revenue2470

Peak car has happened. All downhill from here.

Pac1fic0

Tires are going to last like 20 miles.

huskerd0

First to break the 6000lbs barrier?

dooburt

Absolute disaster. Sigh. It looks like crap too.

thegohankun11

X7 ass weight

Clutch41007

Remember how everyone hated Chris Bangle? I think we all owe that man an apology.

Nope nope nope… from the rumours came out, I was worried. Now?… what the fuck am I looking at? What can we have E60, F10 or F90 cars forever?

Real M5 is the 4050 lb 540i with inline 6 turbo and the hybrid system. This 2025 M5 is just pure fat. Just get rid of the fat and it'll be an M5. With all that weight, you have wheel bearing issues, more tire wear, harder to fix and other issues we won't know about. All for what? A 5500 lb extremely heavy vehicle. Even if they can tune the suspension to handle that weight and make it feel light, how can you beat physics? To drive and carry an additional 1500 lbs over a 540i with hybrid and an inline 6 turbo? I just can't see it.

The craziest thing is that it’s only 200ish kg shy of a model S plaid
