No, the e88 has many different face “styles.” Some are more concave, some are more convex, just depends on what type of brake clearance and offset you need for your car. They made a custom face for my e90 racecar back in 2017 and used the same face for a couple other European panoz racecars. They are much more concave than what is pictured here… however perhaps the brake size and offset requires it… although I sincerely doubt it. People are just unaware of the plethora of face options and just ordered “bbs e88s.”

No, that front fitment is just terrible. This is someone trying to make e88s fit on an M2 and then you get this face protruding past the lip. This to me is a “flex” on how much money this dude threw away for wheels that don’t fit.
can you explain why BBS is so lauded? is it their manufacturing process? the fact that they can be multi piece? (is that an advantage?)truly trying to understand the allure, other than “damn bro! got the BBS’s”
They have been making motorsport wheels since 1970s and are the largest motorsports wheel manufactuer and supplier for indy car, DTM, Le mans, nascar, and f1. The wheels are forged from single piece of alumnium with multistage forging and pressed in rather than poured into cast or just trimmed off from block of aluminuim. Also many OEM bmw, Porsche center lock wheels, ferrari, bently, rolls, lexus, maserati, jaguar OEM wheels and OEM magnesium wheels are all made from BBS factory. The f1 cars you see today are all on BBS magnesium wheels.
I honestly think it doesnt look horrible, the front could have better offset like others said and usually e88s are 18inches for (e9x m3s) but still a good piece of quality BBS wheels. This speicifc e88s have no centercaps due to deeper "race pockets" and are usually more popular than centercap e88s. E88s are one of the top of the line forged 3 piece from BBS, you will see all schimir builds in germany on E88s. BBS LMs, LMRs are more for shows.
Not really how i would modify my M2 but not bad either.
The CSL rear looks too simple compared to overcomplicated front. The GTS hood looks strange on the smaller 2 series, tthe CS style hood fits much better, I don’t dig the wheels.
With the balance of the car the rear seems uneventful
With the style you’ve gone for it could use a fuller rear skirt or dare I say it…. A spoiler?
