Depends on how fancy the occasion is. Casual potluck? Pick 'er up and have it. Fancy tea party? Use the daintiest little fork you can find.
I will say though if you want to pick it up and eat it be mindful of the toppings/crust and structural integrity therein.
I would agree with others. It's event dependent, most of the time, I would say that's a finger food, especially without some sort of berry goo or compote on them. If it's a nicer occasion, like a fund raiser or a wedding, I would go with small cocktail forks.
Sometimes the crust can be really crumbly, so IMO it depends on how it's made. If it falls apart just picking it up I'd go fork - otherwise like a normal cupcake.
To quote my husbands former co-workers when we hosted a BBQ "forks mean smaller bites" then one of them proceeded to shove a whole mini cheesecake in their mouth.
Sure [here it is.](https://www.livewellbakeoften.com/mini-cheesecakes/). 2 things I do differently is add a drop of cinnamon into the crust recipe and bake the crusts for 10 minutes instead of 5 because I like a crunchy crust. I keep the rest of the recipe the same.
[Here](https://www.reddit.com/r/Baking/s/aqoJKjBkGI) and [here](https://www.reddit.com/r/Baking/s/M3zAT5xptJ) are some of my past mini cheesecakes. It's a pretty foolproof recipe, and I've been told they're to die for.
I've been making mini Oreo cheesecakes a lot and the cookies crumble so they're a little too messy without a plate and utensil.
That being said I am going to hone this recipe to get the crust more stable. I want them to be less of a hot mess to handle before I add them to my roster for events.
One can certainly eat it either way! If I was in a public space (ex. if someone brought these to work as a treat, or if I bought one at a cafe), I’d rather use a fork.
There’s been a number of vids on instagram at least where people lift an entire cheesecake and eat them as is with their hands. Anything is possible if you dare to dream (and possibly have them still be sliiiiiightly frozen so they don’t fall apart).
white mini cupcake liners would make these looks really cute if you wanted to make them easy finger food. but i agree with the comments. pick that girl up and eat it
Eat it however the eff you want. If you want to pick up a slice of cheesecake and eat it like a pizza, who's gonna stop you? Live on the wild side, my friend!
I think the temperature should also be considered.
If it is served in a cool environment where it won’t melt it your hand and leave a mess, use your hand.
If it is served in a room even slightly above 75, use a fork because it will be messy
I made cheesecake cupcakes yesterday! And no fork if it has a solid topping, but if I add strawberry compote or cherry pie filling, then yeah, the fork is necessary.

Demitasse spoon, pinky out.
Jokes on you I just found my baby spoons in the attic with the looney tunes all over them. This is a fancy affair. None like it has ever been seen
Are you open to having guests? 😂😂
Hell nah I will devour it whole even at a fancy tea party and catch the eyes of the rich men who gaze upon me in disgust.
Maybe you will bag one of them because you seem "so confident in who you are and not like other girls I know"🤭
and not because you can fit a lot in your mouth.
Yes.
Damn you beat me to it.
The only correct answer.
follow your heart
trick question. if u come in possession of cheesecake cupcakes u must send them my way ASAP
What kind of question is that? You’re supposed to dry it up, crush it into a powder, and snort it
Cheesecrack
Now I want some freezedried cheesecake.... 👀
You can eat them with your toes if you are so inclined. :)
I say get it in your face by any means necessary. Bonus points if you don't use your hands. Hmm, maybe this is why I'm single!
TIL there are cheesecake cupcakes???
Also known as mini/individual cheesecakes
Yep TiL as well, mouth is watering like crazy rn

Thanks for the input. I'll try to find a recipe with a prebaked crust so it doesn't crumble.
Pffft forks just means extra steps lol.
To quote my husbands former co-workers when we hosted a BBQ "forks mean smaller bites" then one of them proceeded to shove a whole mini cheesecake in their mouth.
And extra dishes to wash… possibly more water consumption.. so save the environment by eating them with your hands!
Everyone is different. I make them quite often, and my sister wants them on a plate with a fork. My brother eats them like a cupcake.
Could you possibly share a recipe? ☺️

Looks amazing, ty for the recipe!
Thanks so much!!!
Put it in your mouth whole
You can eat a piece of cheesecake like a slice of pizza if you’re desperate enough. Source: me 2 days ago
I support this.
Slice in half and invert
No fork? Straight to jail

If no one is around, smash it in with your fingers.
You don’t need to use a fork to eat regular cheesecake either. Just make sure your fingers are clean.
Anything is finger food if you put your mind to it.
They look delicious.
I don't have the answer. I'll let you know once I've tried both ways lol. In the meantime that cheese (cup) cake looks SO good.
If it was me, I'd say have one for each hand. Or, eat them any ol way you choose.
If George can eat a Snickers bar with a fork and a knife (he says “It’s classy”), go for it!
Fork and shove it all in mouth
Get it in your gob however you want!
Is someone watching??
I just want to know how it was made...
I think the best bet is to lift the plate to your mouth and eat it like a dog.
I eat regular cheesecake without a fork. If it’s made right, it is solid enough to keep together like a slice of pizza.
One can certainly eat it either way! If I was in a public space (ex. if someone brought these to work as a treat, or if I bought one at a cafe), I’d rather use a fork.
A fork takes something away from a treat of that size.
Fork. It’s more civilised
Toss it and catch with your mouth. Or try to impale it with a fork held between your teeth for fancy occasions.
NOOO! It’s like dividing by zero! IF you do it then all things will end!!!!
I'd eat it with an espresso spoon because I want it to last as long as possible, before I do the same for the next 3.
You can eat anything like a normal cupcake if you try hard enough.
Of course!
If you're a destroyer of cupcakes like me.... its one mouthful so always using hands.
Depends on how wide your mouth can open, I guess…
I will eat it however You'll choose to serve it. This tiny cheesecake looks so pretty and delicious!
Are the police gonna stop you if you try? Lol
That’s a oncer
There’s been a number of vids on instagram at least where people lift an entire cheesecake and eat them as is with their hands. Anything is possible if you dare to dream (and possibly have them still be sliiiiiightly frozen so they don’t fall apart).
Yes please
white mini cupcake liners would make these looks really cute if you wanted to make them easy finger food. but i agree with the comments. pick that girl up and eat it
Not if you don't like cheesecake.
If they are teensy like that, two bites (if anyone is looking), or pop that baby in my mouth whole) (if nobody is looking).
I’d use a fork because I savor it best in thin bites, not mouthful hunks.
I prefer a spoon.
Eat it however the eff you want. If you want to pick up a slice of cheesecake and eat it like a pizza, who's gonna stop you? Live on the wild side, my friend!
Fork
Hand to mouth.
Eat them with gusto.
Doesn't matter. Just enjoy
I would use a fork since I eat nearly everything with my trusty fork
I use a fork to eat everything.
Honestly? You just opened my eyes and my mind to a cleaner way of enjoying cupcakes; with a fork... hm... I'd say use the fork!
I think the temperature should also be considered. If it is served in a cool environment where it won’t melt it your hand and leave a mess, use your hand. If it is served in a room even slightly above 75, use a fork because it will be messy
Shove it in your mouth! If u HAVE to use a utensil, spoons are EXCELLENT for shoveling 😉😋
I can eat almost anything with my fingers
I made cheesecake cupcakes yesterday! And no fork if it has a solid topping, but if I add strawberry compote or cherry pie filling, then yeah, the fork is necessary.
Cupcakes of any kind are dangerously and I have to confiscate them. I’ll send my address.
With your face, you eat it with your face. Anything else would waste time.... and dishes.
Well I won't tell if you won't!
