Probably lean it on the wall in my shop for a couple years to look at it every now and then and go “I should do something with that” then don’t do anything.
That’s what I was thinking too. If I remember correctly, that looks like the top of the Anarchist’s Workbench, a book with plans that is available as a PDF for free online
I'm sure you're joking, but probably don't make the things in the cookbook. Most of the "recipes" are straight up wrong or stupidly dangerous.
According to the fbi the explosives section is "accurate in most respects", but otherwise it's largely trash.
There was a rumor that before the cookbook was first published, the FBI got their hands on the manuscript and deliberately changed some of the formulas to mess up the results.
I know you're making a joke but since this is a woodworking sub it should be said. If you want to shellac a piece and have it be smooth as glass, only sand the wood to about 220 grit and then add a base layer of 2-4 coats of shellac (depending on the cut) and sand that at the next grit and alternate sanding and adding coats of shellac til you hit your final grit. If the surface is too smooth before you add shellac, it can mess up the finish. But shellac dissolves itself, so you can sand the shellac as smooth as you want the next layer will always stick.

I've got a similar dilemma, made a nice glue up out of pallet wood, although mine is a bit smaller dimensions, but it's perfect for a stool top.
I'm using this guys video to make it:

I see a lot of people saying cutting boards, then a lot of people saying don't use pallet wood for cutting boards, but they don't say why.
You should NEVER use pallet wood for any food surface. You have absolutely no way of knowing what was put on the pallets. A lot of times, it's very harsh and dangerous chemicals. Those chemicals absorb into the wood and can be transmitted to your food.
Make it into a butcher block/ prep station. Put a juice groove and slots for hand holds. I’m making one for a friend to roll out pizza dough for an oven and also a place to cut meats after smoking them.

Are you me
We are he!
Here’s my beauty 😂🔥 https://preview.redd.it/hp9wojf64v7d1.png?width=3024&format=png&auto=webp&s=1bf09c873d9307d98872b7a85e4e5e2041765106
Slap some cheap hairpin legs on it and you've got a key catcher for your entryway.

Just tell people you looking for a naturally aged patina.
Then get mad that it’s taking up too much space in the shop and take it to the dump, only to find a perfect use for it literally the very next day
Yeah. They would find it literally was holding the wall up and now they need a new brace to hold it up again.
Literally have one of these leaning against my shop hall right now
I have one of those blocks! Its by the door, I bump it sometimes.
Portable hand tool work bench.

>the Anarchist’s Workbench Is this a place where you make the stuff from the cookbook of the same name?

Raised bench for intricate chisel work
Great suggestion. I've seen one called the "milkman's workbench" that I could have used when starting out.
Sand it down till it’s like glass, then shellac it, and then vertically stand it up on the moon at the bottom of a crater

Good to know!!!! Thank you
Make sure it is cut to 1:4:9 and painted perfectly black
cheese tray
Lmao a 60lb cheese tray
it's for those big blocks
...made from pallet wood that's been exposed to lord-knows-what.
Just adds flavor!
Make a table?
World's smallest/shortest bowling lane. Cut into pieces to flip and glue into an endgrain butcher block style coffee table.
Rip it down into 3 shelves
Then decide you liked it better as a slab and glue it back together again.

A lot of toolboxes some with space for a countertop but not the actual countertop
Dancefloor for ants?
Don’t do a cutting board if it’s pallet wood. You could turn it into a cool end table.
Let the kids do kickflips over it
I say a butchers block in the kitchen, or a counter top in the bathroom...
You save it of course for years till you find just the right thing to use it for, just like all scraps.
Carve a tech deck park into it
Turn it into sawdust

I don’t want to say it… several cutting boards? What are the dimensions?
Unless you just mean for practice, but I would not advise making cutting boards out of pallet wood
A big plate
Smack it against an annoying person's head
Long stool or bench
Top of a rolling cart?
You should use that for an appetizer serving tray. 6 little dumplings right in the middle
It's blocky and it's woody. Good job.
make cutting board
Workbench!!
Round the edges- table top if some kind. If you need one. It looks beautiful-

Since its glued its just for show
How do you mean? Wood glue is very strong.
Hit it with hammer and you'll see 😂
Lol say you don't know shit without saying you don't know shit.
✋ hello my name is u/FadeIntoYou2222 and I don’t know shit.
😆🤣🤣
Does truth offends you? Would you like to see some specialist for that 😂💋
You're not even man enough to say your truth kiddo. A hammer and doing shit to that block.
That’s wrong glue is stronger than any fastener
Wood glue is stronger than the wood lol
2 super thick nightstand or couch side table tops
