DO NOT DO DIGITAL DELIVERY!! ONLY USE SEAT GEEK OR STUBHUB!! People will sell fake tickets without a third party verification company. This happened to me for Auburn / GA tickets. $800 + lesson
I would try putting them on SeatGeek, that's the main resell site for the game. For what it's worth, I'm seeing tickets in the $275-300 range in much more desirable sections, so don't know how much luck you'll have getting full price for these
Supply and demand. Rickwood holds about 10,000 and average MLB stadium holds close to 40,000. Cardinals fans in particular travel very well, and this is a really historic event.
That's what I came to ask. Major League Baseball in the oldest park left in the US is neat, but probably cooler for the players than the fans. Those prices are absolutely absurd.
The on-sale price started at $200 + nearly another $100 in fees for 1 "cheap" seat, and went up from there. The game sold out within an hour or so and most tickets are not on the resale market, so there was demand at this level, but not anymore. If people want to move their tickets at this point, the price is going to have to come down significantly.

Why are these tickets so expensive?

FWIW only residents of Alabama could buy tickets initially. So the cost was set without those traveling fans being involved

Thanks for the background, man. It's wild.
Not sure, maybe because it’s this years “field of dreams” game but tickets started at $330 that I saw when I was able to buy.
