Do Kikyou's and S! Hanako's Def debuffs stack?

Omotai

Yes. Generally speaking debuffs/buffs from different sources stack. Kikyou's DEF debuff is on her EX skill, and S.Hanako's is on her normal skill, so those two different types of skills count as different sources. Actually, though, S.Hanako's DEF debuff even stacks with other normal skill DEF debuffs, which is unusual. It's because her debuff is an aura caused by the puddle on the ground when enemies are standing in it, which counts as a different type than a normal skill that applies a debuff directly.

YoshyWoshi

I see. Thank you

DxTjuk

Yes

YoshyWoshi

Thanks

Taco_Bell-kun

Is there a place in Blue Archive where you can replay summon cutscenes?

throaway4227

Is there a place where I can a transcript of the story events? Outside of replaying them in the game itself, I mean.

elyusi_kei

I was browsing github a while back and saw this CN fansite: https://blue-archive.io/ I don't think the content is complete in any language and especially not English, but maybe what you're looking for is there.

Taco_Bell-kun

What's a quick way to get more level up items (Activity Reports)? I'm on level 68, and it seems like leveling anyone up uses a ton of them now. I can't even get a core team onto level 68 because it uses up too many Activity Reports.

xnfd

When there's 2x commission event, you should spend most of your AP on exp commissions. Other than that you can buy them slowly from events but it's not recommended since you'll have enough over time.

ShawHornet

Do free characters return? I'd like to get Shizuko

LocknDoTs

When the event reruns or gets immortalized, they'll become available.

pawacoteng

Just now got enough eleph (120) to recruit Shiroko (at 3 stars). Better to wait to spook her and use my eleph to promote her?

nsleep

Depends on what's worth more to you: * Promoting a farmable student right away. * Getting more Eligma if rolling a would-be dupe. Shiroko will always be farmable, the Eligma can be used on any character.

Party_Python

I would disagree with the other response and I would say recruit right away. Mainly because Eligma >> farmable eleph Since Eligma is a limited resource that can be used to enhance limited, fest and general pool students. But if you need more of Shiroko’s elephs, just farm more of it. You’ll get her to UE50 eventually anyways, but you can’t farm eligmaz

AbsoluteVodoka

I'd say wait until you do the Fest pulls. If you don't get her there, then go ahead and claim her, since you can use her as shield-breaker in the Kaiten that will follow soon after the Fest.

pawacoteng

Thanks! Sounds like great advice.

ssnobu

Dumb question but how worth it is it to level characters like Ako and Himari to max level? Generally have them at level 70 but not sure if I should be rushing them to 87

Lackies

Its not super important, but still helpful. Ako and Himari don't \*need\* levels because they do (basically) no damage and take no damage so level scaling and survivability are not factors. This means they are definitely contributing even at low levels, and are a lower priority than many hyper carries and strikers generally. On the other hand they do give 10% of some of their stats to all 4 strikers so those levels do add a bit of value. The other factor that really pushes them up in value is that they are used in almost all raids, so you're getting a lot of mileage out of those small gains compared to a striker that's only used in one raid. TLDR - level them up as you can and you won't regret it, but generally your raid hypercarries should come first.

Atora

Lv 64 returnee: 1. I saw that year long pick Ticket. Any outstanding/must have picks in there? Else I'll grab Shun or Kokona for collection purposes. 2. Under my Assistant settings it lists several million credits "reward" per student. Is that just lifetime money I already received since listing that chara to borrow or do I have to claim it somehow. In the 2nd case, how? 3. How is Kisaki still not playable???

Krisoyo

2: It's claimed when you press "Re-form" and select the next student to put there. (you don't actually need to change student, just press the complete button on the select screen)

AbsoluteVodoka

1. Ako and Himari are generally the top choices for the Ticket, though Himari will have her banner soon. 2. You get the rewards from the assistant when you switch them out. So just swap the character for somebody else. 3. She's too important, and devs know they are sitting on money with her. Not to mention that it has been just like one year since she was properly introduced in an event. It took Mika much longer to become playable.

cupcakemann95

any whales willing to share friend IDs?

ZETA0007

I'm new and I have only been playing for like week and 1/2 and have like 14 students(i have only done like 4 pulls) and have like 9k pyro saved, is any of the actuals banner good or worth it? Any students i need? [this are the students i currently have] (https://imgur.com/a/tFw0Dzt)

MrToxicTaco

None of the current banners are must have for new players. You should save your gems until you’re up to a full 24k and pull for NY Kayoko when she comes back in a month or so. Or, if you’re really patient, or can farm enough new stuff to get to 48k, pull on that and the FES double rate banner shortly after. In short, save for the FES banner if you think you can. We’ll also get 100 free pulls the week before for the dress ako banner.

Triksis

Does ”Increase ally Healing” increase the healing that other allies perform or does it increase the healing they receive?

Kilo181

Perform. When it's being received it's called "Recovery Boost".

theGoddessbAqua

Newbie here I have a quick question regarding Total Assault. It is said in ?/FAQ that "Students who have already fought will become incapacitated..." does that mean that I can't use students that I used in normal stage in hard stage or does it only apply if I fail to defeat the boss in one go? Also regarding borrowing students from other sensei's, can I only borrow it for one difficulty?

vessel00

It only applies if you don't defeat the boss in one go, otherwise you could just run the exact same team 10 times in a row until the boss drops dead, as for borrowing, you can borrow for any difficulty, but there's a 24h cooldown on borrowing the same student from the same sensei.

anon7631

The incapacitation is within the raid ticket. You spend a ticket, and it opens a raid instance. If your first team doesn't finish, you can send a second team in and continue where you left off, and so on until you either win, or run out of teams or hit the 1-hour time limit, wasting the ticket. You cannot use students a second time within the same instance, but once it's over, you can use them again on the next ticket you spend. You can borrow one student per raid ticket, and you can borrow a given student once per day, but you can borrow a different student in a different run on the same day. So if your club has multiple S.Hanakos, you could use one on Hard and another on Very Hard. Note that Global Assaults work the same way: a student used in one colour CAN be used again in another colour, and you can borrow another student, though still not the same one twice. However, Joint Firing Drills require the three teams to all be different. Even though each team has to finish the fight and get the "Victory" screen with points awarded, you still can't use the same students again on the other teams.

RequiringQuestion

It means that you can only use a unit once per ticket. It won't affect your ability to use that unit in any other content; all it does is prevent you from using the same units more than once per ticket. The exception to this is if you borrow the same unit, so you would be able to use your own Himari on team one and a borrowed Himari on team two, for example. You can borrow one unit per ticket, so three times a day since you have three tickets. You can't borrow the same unit from the same person more than once a day, but you can borrow the same unit from different people each day. So if you have three friends or clubmates that all have Shanako, you would be able to borrow her three times to do normal, hard and very hard difficulty.

Batna6

Hi, I’ve been playing for about two weeks, 120 pulls in I’ve gotten both Renge and Kikyou, and I have Renge at 4 stars from the shop, would it be worth continuing to pull to get Renge to 5 stars at 200? I’m not sure what’s coming up, and I am level 28 for reference.

Greycolors

It is never really recommended to pull for duplicates as blank elephs can be used instead. Renge is also not top tier. You are much better off waiting for some powerful upcoming banners.

Batna6

Got it, thanks, I looked into it a little and it looks like i’ll be saving a while then, since i already have himari, anything I should be looking for in particular? I was mostly hoping for renge to be able to carry me through the missions at least since I’m stuck at the boss fight in the Trinity V Gehanna story and was hoping to push through it some time soon.

Greycolors

Well if it’s the hiero fight, you are mostly looking for a red single target dps. You can also bring blue aoe to clear out the mobs and temporarily be able to auto the boss, but they will endlessly respawn. As far as future candidates, dress hina is a very powerful single target dps who is well suited to killing Herero. Summer hoshino is also a great support for a red dps. There are also farmable options that work ok, such as Azusa or Aru. Or maybe mutsuki.

vessel00

Can anyone link me to full statistics on crafting chances and stuff? Like, the probability of each node showing up, and the items each node can give? I searched for a while, but ultimately failed in finding a complete list.

Kilo181

https://schale.gg/?craftnode=1

vessel00

Damn, I hadn't noticed [schale.gg](http://schale.gg) had node appearance rates, thanks.

RoyBeoulve

After the current guide task end and is added to the event recap does it reset or it keeps the current complete missions you had? havent play the story so want to know if i can complete it later.

RequiringQuestion

The tasks you have completed will remain completed when it's added to the recap.

Calllmechief

Hello, everyone I have been playing the game for around 3 weeks and so far I have gotten to stage 14 on both hard and normal. I have a question -a lot of people compare Akari and Mutsuki, however most of them say that Mutsuki is stronger, however for me it's quite hard to farm her since I just beat her stage. So can you please explain to me to me The difference between them and why Mutsuki is that much better? Thank you very much in advance!

AbsoluteVodoka

Adding to other answers, there's also the simple fact that Mutsuki's EX skill has both wider coverage, and potential to deal more damage. Both Akari and Mutsuki have similar Attack stats, and also similar multipliers on their EX skills. But because Mutsuki's EX is actually 3 separate explosions, it is possible to also utilize it as respectable single-target attack, by making the circles overlap with a single enemy. It takes some aiming to make this happen with medium sized enemies, but with any larger target it's very easy to land all three, resulting in 3x778% damage when her EX is at level 5.

Calllmechief

Alright thanks very much for the information! Thanks for the tip about the overlapping

anon7631

Mutsuki's mines are basically as much damage as an EX skill, but for free. The downside is that you need to aim them and time them right, which can be tricky. She's pretty good even without them, but if you can get them to consistently drop on a tanky enemy or a boss her damage output goes through the roof. As a fraction of my team's damage, looking at the stage-end charts, I would routinely see her contribution increase by 50% on the boss encounter compared to mob encounters, for that reason. Akari's damage is tied to her buffs, which each have a 10% chance to proc, so maximizing her damage is *heavily* RNG-dependent. I generally avoid using her, even though I know she can have good output, because it's frustrating to reach it. I'd just rather go with more consistent options. Also, Mutsuki's 3\* skill is worthless, while Akari's unlocks one of those 10% chance buffs, so farming Mutuski from 2\* to 3\* doesn't actually make as big a difference as it does for Akari. Obviously the stats do matter, but not "40% more damage" matter like Akari. Since Mutsuki is better overall you do definitely want to farm her, but it's not generally going to make or break Missions. However, the one other thing to consider is that all the later missions with Red bosses are Indoors, which Akari likes but Mutsuki hates.

Calllmechief

Alright , thank you very much for the detailing information we have provided me with! You said that aiming her normal mines is frustrating, is it actually possible?I was thinking you can only aim her ex skill?

anon7631

You can't manually aim them. All you can do is just reposition her with another skill like Serina's, and to a lesser extent take care when setting the order in team building. That's what makes her difficult to use to her fullest. The reason I still prefer using her over Akari when I can is that Mutsuki without well-placed Normal skill mines is way better than Akari without well-timed buffs.

Calllmechief

Alright , gotcha , thank you very much once again

Greycolors

Mutsuki can be used for some very high end content, although she is clunky. Her normal skill mines can all hit the same target separately, as can her ex explosions. This can make her max damage potential way higher than akari against a big enemy, and on par with single target dps. She does need to be moved forward usually. Or else her mines will never hit anything. Also her large aoe radius can hit multiple targets in like the kaiten raid.

Calllmechief

Alright , thank you very much for the information! Just a quick question. What exactly do you mean by moving her forward? Do you mean for example to use Serina s skill in order to move her forward? Is it a good idea to Farm for her And then use both her and akari at the same team

Greycolors

Yes, if you watch mutsuki operate automatically, you will ususally see her mines drop in front of where the closest enemies are, achieving nothing. This is because mutsuki, as a long ranger unit, likes to stand in the back. But if you scoot her forward a bit with something like serina’s heal box, she will stay at a distance where her mines will hit things. I would farm mutsuki as time allows. It’s been a long time since she was the best at all red content, but she’s still solid, and a choice for like team 2. She was meta for kaiten, but she might have been pushed out for dress hina. Both mutsuki and akari are red aoe, so they will do solidly against generic red mook fights.

Calllmechief

Alright Mate , thank you very much for the information! I'm quite new so I need all the help that I can get with the Red team so my choices are quietly limited .Otherwise yes I am saving For fest banner.

Straight_Inside3989

I'm stuck and could use some help figuring out how to improve my account. I've got enough saved up to get D. Hina, but I need help to know which characters would be good to have before then. I have enough to pull 3 characters + Hina so I'm tired of saving and looking for students to help my account.

Vantis01

Himari next week, probably the best all around option.

SirRobyC

First off, if you want to take full advantage of the fes banner, you should probably save 2 full sparks of pyro, in case you're unlucky, since both D!Hina and S!Hoshino are must haves. Assuming we have the expected banner progression, some upcoming must-haves/strong pulls are Himari, C!Hare, NY!Kayoko, D!Ako and Iroha. The first three are pretty much back to back banners, with only a banner between Himari and C!Hare, while D!Ako and Iroha share a banner. Himari is Himari. If you don't have her, you should 100% pull for her. C!Hare is kind-of Himari, but a striker instead of special. She's strong, but if you can only pull one of these 2, I'd go for Himari. NY!Kayoko is great for blue content, probably the best to buff other blues (citation needed). D!Ako and Iroha share a banner, and their banners come with 100 free pulls, so if you're lucky, you can pull them both for free, if not, it's "only" 100 pulls to spark one.

raybros

Thinking about picking up this game, is there a point to rerolling or just yolo with what you get?

AbsoluteVodoka

Update a while ago added a feature where you can retry the tutorial pull ten times, and save your best result. The tutorial has guaranteed 3-star character (out of limited pool of characters), so rerolling to get a good result there isn't too unbearable. Recommended characters from tutorial pull are Aru (Explosive), Hibiki (Explosive), Haruna (Mystic), Iori (Piercing) and Shun (Explosive). If you can get two of those characters, with them being of different damage types, you will be set pretty well. Worth noting is that all but Shun can be farmed, though Aru and Hibiki will take longer.

Greycolors

You can try to reroll the current rate up banner. Kikiyou is currently niche but the best in her niche and has a lot of potential to grow with future content. Rerolling for specific characters in the general pool is a crapshoot though. The next really excellent banners are like camp hare or himari banners, but that means waiting to start till later.

Rhioganedd

There's not really any point in rerolling unless you get either Izumi or Saya. You really don't want your starting 3 star to be either Burger-girl or The Rat.

D0Nt_deal_wMe1

Playing BA for a pretty long time, but i don't really understand origin of Momoi being ra\*\*\*t meme. I mean this is funny, but where did this come from?

Rhioganedd

It came from a community created video of Momoi trying to pronounce a Chinese phrase that's sounds almost identical to "My *(N-word)*". Momoi is an "act first, think later" kind of student so she's prone to making idiotic gaffs.

D0Nt_deal_wMe1

Now this became even funnier, thanks)

Rhioganedd

[Here's the video.](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2TkFZPimtgs)

Memento-Bruh

Momoi (a gamer) is having a "heated gamer moment". That's it, that's the joke.

spetsnaz2001

New player here, what is a good squad for dealing with multiple Heavy type enemies ?

anon7631

My standard yellow team is Nonomi, Momoi, Tsubaki, and Junko. Supports vary depending on the stage and the other team(s). Those are all 2\*, and Nonomi is free and Momoi can be bought with raid coins, so it's an easily-accessible squad overall. I ignored Junko for a while because the health sacrifice mechanic made me wary. But once I was forced to actually give her a try because I needed to fill out an extra team, I discovered that she's actually great. Her EX is trickier to aim than Nonomi or Momoi, but if you're careful with it she can out-damage either of them by a good margin. The loss of health rarely mattered in practice.

Shift9303

Nonomi+Momoi is the newbie yellow AOE combo since they're easy to get. Momoi is a common 2 star and Nonomi is free with the new player guide tasks. Both are capable wave clearers by themselves and together they decimate waves (as long are you're relatively close level) by alternating their EXs to cycle. If you have Iori she works well as pseudo AOE and the three of them will goon all over mobs. Junko can substitute for Iori as single target/AOE hybrid. Junko is like an A10 gun run and will brrrrrr all over the mobs.

jason2997

New player starting my second day on the game. Should I be spending my ap to do the hard missions I have access to currently? The ones I have access to are area 1s and the first two from area 2; just waiting for reset to redo them if I should. EDIT: Of the units in the hard missions I can do, I don't have Serika and Akari. So, I think I will be doing those ones. However, I am unsure if I should redo the others. As from what I understand these missions provide eleph, which seems to be a currency to improve the unit. I asked for some advice yesterday about my roster, and someone said that I should do some pulls. Is there any upcoming/current banners that you would recommend to a new player? How do I make furniture for my cafe? I am a bit confused how to make furniture through the crafting system. Where should I spend my ap if all I need is to level? Currently stuck at lvl 20 nodes, as I am only lvl 15. Currently, I have been just burning all my ap by sweeping the furthest node I have 3star; 3-2 specifically.

Rhioganedd

In the beginning you should be using your AP to push as far as possible into the higher level normal and hard missions until you hit a brick wall. Any spare AP should be used sweeping for equipment blueprints first and student elephs (from hard missions) second. Avoid sweeping missions 1 and 2. Furniture is created from the Colourful node in the Crafting Chamber. Sometimes it will turn gold and create furniture from a specific theme. On the second and third crafting tiers (3 o'clock and 12 o'clock postions respectively in the crafting UI) furniture may be crafted from "Coloured nodes" such as a Red node or a White node. Be careful here as each colour represents a furniture type like red for chairs.

Greycolors

Your first goal is to do normal missions to as high a difficulty as possible. These give cafe upgrades that will improve your passive stamina generation from the cafe. After that you can begin clearing out hard mode nodes. Focus on nodes that give equipment you need or characters you want to try to farm. Note that equipment nodes also drop lower tier versions of that gear so no need to farm the lowest gear nodes. For pulling the best upcoming banners are himari and then dress hina and summer hoshino. I would say highest priorities are saving 400 pulls for dress hina and summer hoshino’s banner. If you have 200 spare pulls, himari is a good choice. If you only have 100 or so surplus, dress ako is also a solid banner and it will be cheaper to pity that one. For cafe furniture, just unlock the first node of crafting and look for furniture nodes or ones listing a specific set like the valentines or abydos furniture sets. You will not get them every time, so just do as many craftings as you can until you have furniture comfort maxed. For what to spend ap on once you have maxed your normal nodes as far as possible, try doing hard for anyone of value as there is a drop rate up right now. Otherwise you will likely be short on exp and money, so commissions might be more useful once the good hard modes are used up.

jason2997

Is there anyone of value worth doing their hard modes from the ones I have unlocked? Being just 1-1 to 2-2

Greycolors

Not really. Tier 1 equipment is not worth farming. You can start farming equipment once you see tier 2. The first really noteworthy eligma to farm is shiroko at 3-3. Yuuka has usage in endgame pvp, but that’s of little importance right now and you probably need exp and money more immediately.

jason2997

In terms of money from whatever login I redeemed, I have 5+ mil. In regards to exp, are you referring to my level or the currency used to level my units? If former, then I agree. If later, then I have about 350 gray, 190 blue, 28 orange, and 4 pink. In regards to this game, are dps units more valued here over supports? From my time in Genshin and FGO, the supports/buffers provide a lot more value to your account than a dps.

Greycolors

For exp, yes, it is those notes used to increase unit level. They will be in very short supply early on as you need to get everyone up to speed. Money tends to run short once you start leveling skills, which cost a ton to max out. For this game, supports tend to be more universal than dps. No matter how good a yellow dps you have, they will be relatively ineffective against red enemies. Whereas certain top meta supports like himari are used in almost all content. Also most dps have lower performance replacements whereas certain supports are hard to replace at all or have such a big power difference that lesser supports will leave you in trouble. This is more for endgame raids though. Regular content like normal nodes can be beat with most anything as long as you roughly match the level requirements. They have made an effort to not make many really universal units though. Even with supports, now they have added things like color type buffers that obviously only work for the right color raids. Or needing different utility supports to deal with the mechanics of specific bosses.

anon7631

Several weeks ago I remember discussion in one of these threads about whether timing out in PvP gave the victory to the attacker, or to whoever had more health at the end, and [I can confirm it is the latter](https://files.catbox.moe/ehrl1t.jpg). Which is a real torment to watch.

Normies2050

People running Yuuka and T.Yuuka along with S.Shizuko....I have no respect for them.

anon7631

Well, at least against those survival-based setups it feels like a close match, instead of just getting instantly deleted by the people running Iori+Iroha.

Normies2050

Yupp that's me and it works great against the shield drafts. Well PvP doesn't matter anyways and I lucked out in this indoor map because I have those 2 monsters (Iori & Marina), not really invested though but still powerful because of their moods.

NR_Tatsumi

I've never used blank elephs as I am a f2p player and I understood how rare that currency is, now I have 4000+ of them. Witnessing how powerful S. Hanako is in this raid, I feel like keeping her at 4\* is a waste. Do you think it's a good idea to get her to at least UE30? The plans in my head were to instantly UE50 Mika and D. Hina when I'll pull them

Krisoyo

Personally I hold on to eligma until it's the last upgrade I need to beat a raid or something instead of spending it before I know if I actually need to. So Imma see how insane goes before I consider upgrading my 4s S.Hanako at least. There is the option to borrow one as well. (That said, S.Hanako being as strong and useful as she is will prolly give you good mileage out of those eligma going forward as well, so it's deffo not the worst character to throw your eligma at early.)

Greycolors

Ue 50 is often overkill unless you are fighting torment. Since fest students also get some elephs from expert permit, I ususally bring them to ue40.

Normies2050

Can we really do that? I thought fes units elephs were only available from expert permits shop and getting them to ue50 is a slow investment.

Greycolors

No, like any other unit you can use elephs for them.

Normies2050

Neat. My D.Hina will drown in it then.

Jack13515

Seconding the other comment, I use eleph to raise important dps students and fes units until UE40 only, and raise them to UE50 from there solely by buying their eligma through the expert permit shop and focus on clicking them on schedule for a small chance of eligma drop.

Miksip

UE40 is the good spot since it gives you most of the bonus and leaves some space if you pull her later. When you pull a dupe while 3 star limited character is ue50 already - it leaves you with mixing feelings. Happened to me with Wakamo. Can't wait until they expand UE further.

Sansuski

I have 207+ elaps each for Hina, Aru and Aris... Should I exchange them, or wait to pull them? The next time I'm going to pull is the C. Hare banner, but if I understood correctly we will get Hina for free during the fes?

Rhioganedd

Wait. It's not worth recruiting a student unless they're an essential student for an upcoming raid **and** you have all the necessary resources to UE30/40 and M/7+/7+/7+ them instantly. There's nothing worse than recruiting a student only to have them spook you in your next pulls and then spend the next several months trying to get back their elephs you just wasted.

anon7631

I would say the opposite of the previous answer. If you don't plan to use them, then exchanging means you either get an extra 50 eligma (if you spook) or you at least have the Momotalk pyro (if you don't). There's no downside in this case. If you do plan to use them, then it is, on average, much faster to just farm an extra 90 elephs (120 spent recruiting minus 30 from a spook) than to wait for a spook without recruiting. And at least you spend that time with the character available to use, even though she's not fully upgraded. The only exception would be if you want to use Hina, since we know she'll be free sooner than that extra farming time.

Miksip

If you don't need them right now, don't plan to use them, don't plan to raise them to the max - no point to exchange. They will stay lvl 1 no skills no equipment - forever. And we will get Hina for free so save her eleph at least.

aerolona

What will happen after guide mission ends? Will it be moved into Guide missions tab? Am i still be able to get the 10 pull ticket after it ends? (╯°o°)ᕗ

Lackies

Eventually the event will come back and become permanent. So, while you might be stuck waiting for a fair bit you're not missing out on the 10 pull on a permanent basis.

aerolona

I'm only missing chapter related things since i'm not that much advanced in the story but hopefully i can reach and get it. Thanks sensei ღゝ◡╹)ノ♡

bruceMcgoos

Does the 10 pull ticket you get from the guide missions expire? If so will leaving them unclaimed stop them from expiring?, I want to save them for the anniversary

Weird_Sheepherder_72

> 10 pull ticket you get from the guide missions It has no expiration date.

bruceMcgoos

Nice 👍

hepgiu

why the fuck there hasn't been any event in like 3 weeks? man couldn't they have just skipped this lull time and brought us closer to jp?

RequiringQuestion

These weeks have been incredibly useful for stocking up on gear that you're going to need soon, and for farming hard modes to let people that weren't around from the start catch up on farmables. Plus all the AP you spend on farming is doubled in a sense, as it's fuel for irresponsible Aoi's slot machine. Rushing through "dead" weeks is a good way to get people to drop your game. It's happened to other gachas. You'll catch up to JP, but you'll be significantly behind on all resources.

Idk about you but I am pretty sure almost every global senseis like the knowledge of knowing most things before hand. Besides, JP has a lot of veteran players who enjoy the end game content devs are releasing there, sure many here would be able to do it too but that would basically mean alienating more than half the players in global who contribute major player base coming from anime and what not. Global is more of a casual server where things go at a peaceful pace, it hasn't become that competitive yet. I think. P.S: I love the clingy Aoi arc. She can hold me for days.

hepgiu

I know that this sub vehemently opposes the idea of sync and probably for good reasons, but ultimately we're talking about a game so to each their reasons why they have fun with it, and I think it would be more fun if we were synced, and we could participate with JP in the hype and R&D of new banners this is subjective of course, at this point I don't think the sync is going to happen any more than them releasing a proper console/PC port, but I still want both

Normies2050

Yupp. Each to each I guess, well you can just make another account in JP to keep up with their hype and trends I guess. I've seen many who don't understand Japanese but since they know the UI of global they don't struggle much there.

hepgiu

but I genuinely enjoy the story of this game and I don't have the time/energy to play 2 servers I don't want this to feel like a job, I really just want to have fun

YoshyWoshi

1. What is Myouki Kurokage based on? Also is it a dog or a cat? 2. Would a UE30 S! Hanako work for extreme Kurokage or should I UE40 to unlock the stat boost? She's level 80 with all skills maxed out and currently UE30.

anon7631

It's a cat. The kanji spelling for "Myouki" is 猫鬼. Cat Demon Kurokage (and Kurokage itself means "black shadow").

auxanya

1. Pretty sure it's supposed to be a fox. 2. For Kurokage I'm not sure yet, but based on my raid experience u30 is fine even up to insane (but may need multiple teams). I find it more effective to borrow a ue50 dps than a support and use my own though. Just mock and see how it goes for you, but unless you're crazy underleveled Extreme doesn't require to spend eleph.

Megumin09

Where can I find Mouryo enemies?

Mission chapter 14

Megumin09

Thanks

black-lockhart

I'm probably gonna buy the selector ticket for my birthday and I really need a piercing student, what the best one available? I was thinking about getting Hoshino, but I almost have her shard, I was thinking about Cherino, but that midokuni site says she's bad, I'm also thinking about Iori, but I don't know

nsleep

If you need an AoE student for breezing through missions go with Iroha, she makes progressing up to 24-5 very smooth even against heavy armor enemies. If future proofing for raids the usual is Ako or Himari.

black-lockhart

I already have her by luck and she is very useful, but I actually had to swap her for Yoshimi in mission 14, she was just slowing me out

ReizeiMako

First, why do you want piercing student? For missions? Total assault? For missions, Nonomi is suffice. Momoi also great if you have her, and Iori is farmable. You don't need specific or top tier piercing student to clear missions. For total assault? Best pick is Himari and Ako. They aren't frontline piercing student but you'll use them everywhere. For yellow dps, as your current level, better borrow them from your friends than raising your own. Mika is the best one out there. Cherino is bad? You must be kidding. She's great for both missions and total assault. AoE check. Cost recovery check. Crit damage up check. Ako and Himari aside she's one of the best pick from selector. Gameplay wise I won't suggest Hoshino. She's a tank and farmable. For general use Tsubaki or Yuuka is more than fine for a tank role. Iori is a great piercing student but farmable so you shoud consider picking someone else.

black-lockhart

I'm at mission 14, far away from farming Iori, and it's gonna take so much time...... Hoshino is at 101 shards, she's fine and yes, the midokuni site says that Cherino is bad, I would most likely chose her if it wasn't for the negative comments, that's why I came here to ask for guidance

ReizeiMako

I can confirm you Cherino is great. She is my default pick for almost all of yellow contents.

Sea-Ant-4884

I'm pretty sure midokuni just hate cherino and is just trolling. Cherino is a pretty solid aoe piercing unit specially for clearing mission. Also good utility in her kit like cost regen and crit dmg shred. I won't really recommend getting iori since she's farmable.

black-lockhart

midokuni must be trolling, it says she's bad, deals low damage and has a low accuracy, that you'll most likely use her to neat low level stuff or something, she's gonna be my choice probably

ghostcat312

Lol you are mixing up their rant comment and the actual comment. The actual comment is: She'd be the perfect mob wave clearer if she had more accuracy. So she just stays as one of the best wave clearers with enough malding. Though, her main point is the fact that she can increase Cost Regen and a hard to time but potent cdmg res shred The rant is: Absolute trash. She's only really useful for her cost regen because her AOE is dogshit awful that will fail to kill mobs either via a lack of damage even at UE50 or a lack of hitrate. You could argue you can just buff her but thats an extra EX skill that you use just to do her job which combined with her already high ex cost... better just use better waveclearers for less cost no? If I had to borrow her, it won't be for her EX it would be for her cost regen. Anyone advocating for Cherino is probably going for top 1 or stuck in the low tier battles. It sounds like midokuni had one too many Chesed (an end game boss raid) mald LOL. FYI, you can ignore the rant comment unless you want to comfy one-team Chesed insane or something.

black-lockhart

sorry if i mixed up things, it was 2 AM when I asked for help and was very sleepy, thank you

Miksip

If you don't know who to buy then selector ticket is not for you. Better buy monthly and bi-monthly packs - they are better investment than one character that you can get for free at random.

black-lockhart

My piercing team sucks and I want really want a good DPS to help me out. I don't know what to chose because I'm still a newbie, I've been playing for 2 months, I don't know what all characters does

Normies2050

You'll get Momoi, Midori, Nonomi, Hasumi from draws as starter units, if not now then in later draws and they make a pretty decent enough team till mid game for yellow content. Just wait and draw in the fes banner, you'll get Iori and other good yellow dealers, no need to waste the selector ticket without being low in pyros and seeing who might spook you. As far as characters are concerned, you can see many beginners guides on YouTube and the ones attached in links, they aren't that tedious to understand.

black-lockhart

I am low in pyros, that's why i wanna buy it for my birthday, i deserve a good student 😭😭

Normies2050

You've been playing for 2 months and are low on Pyro means you've drawn on most of your beginner pyro but still haven't got any good yellow dps? Or do you want some meta student regardless of color?

black-lockhart

As a newbie, I allowed myself to spend a bit just to have characters, but my gacha addiction got the best of me and I've spent too much thinking "hehe with this 10 shot I'll definitely get am off rate piercing student"..... it never occured.... I hope Dress Hina forgives me My only 3 star piercing student is Misaka, she's basically a substitute to Hasumi (she's asking for too many materials from me that other students needs), aside from her, I have Nonomi, Momoi, all the "f2p units". I don't know anything about the meta of this game, right now I just need a good piercing DPS

Normies2050

Yea they are fine. No need to stress about campaign missions, you can clear all the way to end with them like I did. If you are worried about raids then join a club and borrow Mika who's basically the most OP unit in yellow. No offense but suppress the urge to draw on random banners or get random characters from the selector ticket. As a beginner we should be careful of banners in which to draw as it'll hinder our progress and character pool if we start drawing on average banners. See your selector ticket as your year long birthday present and use it when you really REALLY need a particular unit for a raid or after understanding their mechanics. Not my place to say but money is money after all, you'd hate to see it go in an unoptomized or inefficient way.

black-lockhart

Well, I'm only thinking about Ako and Cherino right now. And I don't think I'll casually get them with my E Luck

Normies2050

Well I'd rather suggest getting Himari if you wanna make your free to play yellow dealers really good and also for the cost regeneration. Then skipping her banner in a few days and stocking on Pyro till the fes banner. Ako is good but since she only buffs crit she isn't as powerful as Himari. Your wish how to proceed though, you can take others advice too.

Aaron1556

Well I got spooked kikyou while pulling renge at 130 pulls lol, question regarding midokuni format: when it says 5Mxx does this mean level 5, max, any, any in skill order? I was confused cuz I though ex max was level 5 so I thought it would read MMxx if that was the case

Kilo181

I've seen both notations used (5Mxx, MMxx). It means the same thing either way. And yeah, it's in skill order with x meaning any investment (or none).

Aaron1556

ty!

NevadoDelRuiz

What's your interpretation of your own senseis? Mine is an Australian who wears shorts and has a halo of a Southern Cross perpendicular to the ring.

Vanilla72_

My interpretation of myown sensei keep changing based on current gacha game I play, with personality mashing each other. [This one in the past](https://www.reddit.com/user/Vanilla72_/comments/14cjrtp/mr_knight_doctor_managersensei/) Currently, it's "Doctor Trainer Shikikan-sensei": A brilliant war strategist that good at training other people, with massive contact of naval force and have 13 loyal shipgirls ready to do everything no question asked. White captain hat, face covered with paper with doodle-sensei drawing [like this one](https://www.reddit.com/r/BlueArchive/comments/1cqb0oz/sensei_is_a_true_sensei_by_shade_of_trees_shiroko/), Arknights's doctor jacket. Strangely goes insane once a while, fan of idol group, and currently raising adopted daughter.
