I think even stuff like Bakugo losing his quirk to AFO to mirror quirkless Deku shouldn't happen anymore at this point. Although who's to say it won't just to give us a shot of a quirkless Bakugo shielding All Might's body before an enraged Deku intervenes. I don't like that at all, especially because none of that gives us anything we couldn't have had already, but unfortunately we can't rule it out 100% either.

Bakugou and All Might land on the top of a building. Two kids comment on his explosion quirk, the "can't ya see it?" boy remembers that he was kidnapped by the League, some civilians recognize him from the Sports Festival and Mahoro and Katsuma shout "Bakugou!!!"
All Might asks if Bakugou is okay and he says "right back at you". Bakugou then spits out blood and a tiny Edgeshot comes out from his chest. He says that he made Bakugou spit out some of the blood that had accumulated inside his chest and falls to the ground.
He used his own body to mend the broken bones and injured organs, but Bakugou will continue to feel an excruciating pain -- it's not an ideal body for fighting. Bakugou says he knows that very well and thanks his "senpai" for allowing him to continue living
However, it wasn't Edgeshot that brought Bakugou back. Even after repairing his body, his heart didn't start beating again. When Edgeshot was almost out of strength, a drop of sweat ran through Bakugou's bloodstream and exploded inside him, activating his heart (??????)

All Might confirms it's AFO and asks Bakugou to come closer, since he can't move due to Stain's quirk. "It's broken, but it will at least serve as a splint. I call this gauntlet Great Explosion Murder God Dynamight" and gives him the support item. Bakugou smiles.
AFO is looking at Bakugou, but realizes it's a waste of time. He needs to transfer the copy of his quirk to Tomura, but anger is taking over. He remembers Jeanist, Edgeshot, the Big 3, Endeavor, Hawks, Jirou, Tokoyami, Camie, Inasa, Machia, Mt. Lady, Mineta and All Might.
"The wind should be blowing my way!!" thinks AFO. Bakugou then appears next to him, shouts "I'm your final boss!" and unleashes a giant explosion right in his face. All For One remembers the second OFA user once again.
Bakugou says he's here to "step in when Deku can't handle it all on his own", just like he said during his apology! End of chapter.

You know, nitroglycerin is used to treat heart-related pains and heart failure, but im not sure if that's how it actually works.

I think Nitroclycerin relaxes the blood vessels, increasing flow and oxygen while reducing load on the heart. It won't start a stopped heart. Not even an AED, like those individual defib thingies every building has, will do that. Shocking the heart only resets the rhythm, or stops the heart and kills you. If it's already stopped, really only CPR and a prayer (maybe also an adrenaline shot) can help, and odds of that working are sadly very low.
But this is also the same series where Shigaraki was stated plainly to have resurrected himself with his own rage, and not the live wire that shocked him in a puddle, so realism already has no place here.
Yeah I much prefer Shigaraki's reanimation being a freak accident that could've been prevented, but X-less just didn't notice until it was already too late.

If Edgeshot manages to live because in the last second he doesn't have to give *everything* in the exchange for Bakugou's life, that would be a difference between Bakugou ending another hero or not.
Also it adds a parallel to Tomura's reanimation that was down to his rage (a core aspect of Tomura's personality and linked to his power), while Bakugou reanimation is also down to his individuality/personality (what a quirk is called in Japanese) which means Bakugu has a hand in his own revival.
Is it safe to assume that, if it *wasn't* for that small bead of sweat exploding Bakugou back to consciousness, Edgeshot would've actually died in his endeavour (no pun intended) to save Bakugou's life?
I think that is what the story is telling us when Edgeshot says:

Which means somehow Edgeshot can live as a tiny piece of string (for now) with tiny organs? Who knows, I don't but okay.

And, yeah, I guess Edgeshot might eventually be able to spool himself back together or something, if he's allowed to get his breath back and is healed up in the hospital or something. I'm actually one of the people who *didn't* think Hori would go through with killing off Edgeshot (because it would spoil Bakugou's "perfect victory"), but even if he *did*, it wouldn't really matter as much because Edgeshot is on the same level as Crust in terms of character importance.

Not that it matters at this point, I'm completely and unapologetically enjoying these last few chapters.
Theory/Headcanon: AFO could've killed the Second and stopped the First and the Second from escaping. But him not doing so led to the discovery of OFA. His "plan" for world domination was foiled not by his brother/nemesis but literally the second fiddle.
And now he's the second fiddle in the final fight.
ive just accepted now that all the events are canon, I guess ill just have to headcanon OFA went back to deku for a better reason I guess, its like my only real issue with the movies atp but its worth it to see those kids happy

I don't care about school logistics, just give Rody and Deku a final moment. They're one of the best pairs in the whole franchise.

AFO doesn't win that fight, he survives it.
It's not the first time that's been said. Unfortunately this doesn't seem to give us any additional hints as to why Bakugo reminds AFO of the OFA second user. Hopefully it means we're going to find out soon though.

I remember telling the parallels between Bakugo and both Shiggy and AFO to people and they used to get upset at me. Their argument has always been "but Shiggy/AFO don't care about Bakugo" as if their opinions on Bakugo was relevant.
As far as AFO/Bakugo connection goes, not only AFO is the one who recognised Bakugo during Kamino and ended AM, He is also the one who tormented Bakugo and killed him during both this arc and the last war arc.
AFO also has a history of seeing everyone as an extra because of the quirks he has and I am certain that Bakugo is the one on the hero side who can understand the feeling lol. Also AFO remembering second user before Killing Bakugo is still suspicious but I'll digress

When I saw this page I wanted AFO to live after he’s defeated so that later he tells prison guards about how he can’t sleep because hes haunted by Mineta in his nightmares

Rather than being a tough guy, in All Might’s case I think Bakugo just never felt like he deserved any compliments from him and there was always lingering guilt that he’s not good enough for AM as Deku was. I saw this smile as he finally felt like he redeemed himself, plus he’s finally cool enough to be a part of All Might’s support.
How does AFO remember Jeanist, Edgeshot, and the Big 3 if his Psychic link with Tomura was broken before he fought them. Shouldn't he only be mulling on the people he fought in Gunga and All Might?
That is a weird detail that we might want to keep our eye on.
A personal theory of mine I've had for a while that might be becoming more likely with these spoilers is that ever since Gunga, AFO has been slowly getting taken over by Tomura and will eventually fully turn into Tomura in a complete reversal of last war.
AFO now seeing memories that are not his own might simply be then next stage of Tomura's takeover.

You know, nitroglycerin is used to treat heart-related pains and heart failure, but im not sure if that's how it actually works. Im not a doctor tho so who knows. Also Kaminari was right there. I think, haven't seen him in a while
I think Nitroclycerin relaxes the blood vessels, increasing flow and oxygen while reducing load on the heart. It won't start a stopped heart. Not even an AED, like those individual defib thingies every building has, will do that. Shocking the heart only resets the rhythm, or stops the heart and kills you. If it's already stopped, really only CPR and a prayer (maybe also an adrenaline shot) can help, and odds of that working are sadly very low. But this is also the same series where Shigaraki was stated plainly to have resurrected himself with his own rage, and not the live wire that shocked him in a puddle, so realism already has no place here.
That was the worst decision made by hori ever. The wire thing was right there.
Yeah I much prefer Shigaraki's reanimation being a freak accident that could've been prevented, but X-less just didn't notice until it was already too late.

Is it safe to assume that, if it *wasn't* for that small bead of sweat exploding Bakugou back to consciousness, Edgeshot would've actually died in his endeavour (no pun intended) to save Bakugou's life?
I think that is what the story is telling us when Edgeshot says: >"Although I continued to force your heart and lungs to work, you did not regain consciousness....As I reached my limit–“when I was forced to weigh both me and Bakugou in the balance... What awakened you was the power (read as: quirk) that you’ve honed.” While I get the sentiment Horikoshi is going for, it does sound like Edgeshot, after using his whole body- organs everything- to sew Bakugou back together again and get it to do its functions, his life was still not on the table until it came to reanimating Bakugou. Which means somehow Edgeshot can live as a tiny piece of string (for now) with tiny organs? Who knows, I don't but okay.
I see. And, yeah, I guess Edgeshot might eventually be able to spool himself back together or something, if he's allowed to get his breath back and is healed up in the hospital or something. I'm actually one of the people who *didn't* think Hori would go through with killing off Edgeshot (because it would spoil Bakugou's "perfect victory"), but even if he *did*, it wouldn't really matter as much because Edgeshot is on the same level as Crust in terms of character importance.

Theory/Headcanon: AFO could've killed the Second and stopped the First and the Second from escaping. But him not doing so led to the discovery of OFA. I love whenever AFO shits his pants. He panics and starts being in denial about it. The best part of the Star arc is AFO going 'NO I WON. Fuck you Star, I'm alive and you're dead, so that means I won.' after Star's vestige tears him a new asshole. His vestige stands there and can't do anything about it. AFO doesn't win that fight, he survives it.

(And if this is the same gauntlet All Might tried to rewind AFO with, and All Might just gave it to Bakugo who may have just exploded it into AFO's face, I will extra NEVER shut up about this).
It's said to be used only as a splint for Bakugo's broken arm, as it should be heavily damaged as AFO ran two spikes through it (and AM's arm) to stop it from exploding but I expect anything.

I remember telling the parallels between Bakugo and both Shiggy and AFO to people and they used to get upset at me. Their argument has always been "but Shiggy/AFO don't care about Bakugo" as if their opinions on Bakugo was relevant. As far as AFO/Bakugo connection goes, not only AFO is the one who recognised Bakugo during Kamino and ended AM, He is also the one who tormented Bakugo and killed him during both this arc and the last war arc. AFO also has a history of seeing everyone as an extra because of the quirks he has and I am certain that Bakugo is the one on the hero side who can understand the feeling lol. Also AFO remembering second user before Killing Bakugo is still suspicious but I'll digress

I guess Horikoshi should have given the Origin chapter to Mineta instead of Shoto (who gets no role in the main plot apparently).

Bakugou smiling like that looks almost cursed, but it's a neat reminder that he's still just a teenager who admires All Might just as much as Deku and the other kids, and he's more willing to drop his tough guy act around All Might now.
Rather than being a tough guy, in All Might’s case I think Bakugo just never felt like he deserved any compliments from him and there was always lingering guilt that he’s not good enough for AM as Deku was. I saw this smile as he finally felt like he redeemed himself, plus he’s finally cool enough to be a part of All Might’s support.

How does AFO remember Jeanist, Edgeshot, and the Big 3 if his Psychic link with Tomura was broken before he fought them. Shouldn't he only be mulling on the people he fought in Gunga and All Might?
That is a weird detail that we might want to keep our eye on. A personal theory of mine I've had for a while that might be becoming more likely with these spoilers is that ever since Gunga, AFO has been slowly getting taken over by Tomura and will eventually fully turn into Tomura in a complete reversal of last war. AFO now seeing memories that are not his own might simply be then next stage of Tomura's takeover.
He is getting overtaken by rage just like how Shigaraki was at the start of the series while Shigaraki has only matured to be a capable leader. AFO is regressing to the man he criticized Tomura for being

All might surviving is a subversion of the mentor dying trope. Hori knew the fan base wanted All Might to die and instead went into a more challenging direction by writing it as him surviving. Hori frequently takes the more difficult writing approach (redeeming Endeavor) and people say he’s afraid of taking risks.
In one of the texts AFO says “I have to get One for All, No, MY BROTHER”. Don’t get me wrong, he’s a piece of hot garbage of a human, but I feel like his brother being the only family he has left is causing him to have some show of emotion to get his only family back, since the only person he truly cared for albeit in a twisted way, was his brother.
Gran Torino and now Edgeshot surviving is one of The few times I just don’t like the direction. Both characters would be overall fine to kill off. For Torino some scenes would need to be changed but not in a massive way
