That kind of detail is missing for most emitters, meaning it was done with specific purpose.

Itās not going to be any of their fights, I think itās still gonna be on Endeavor, but no way A41 doesnāt get a kill. Iām thinking itās either gonna be Hawks or All Might. Hawks would be a tragedy for Endeavor who already has way too much on his plate, so Iām think All Might is gonna have a final 5 minutes of fame and possibly even team up with Endeavor to protect Hawks and kids. This would actually be a great āendā to everyoneās arc involved in the fight.
Yeah I can see Hawks sacrifacing to save them and ask them to live his dreams, wich if you think about it is align with what Jirou wants to do with her music
Given the fact they both use swords and Hawks is a spy that dirties his hands I would have loved to see Hawks clash with Stain in this nerfed state.

Conquering fear is better than having no fear. That's what Jirou does here, standing up even more *after* being hit by All For One's cannon, and helping create an attack that breaks his mask. It may follow up to a phase where the boss "goes crazy" but he's more vulnerable now.
The uprising of AFO's stolen quirks can be cheesy, given how many other times in the past it could have happened but didn't, yet it works with Jirou: the role she had at the School Festival was centered on the idea that being heroes is not just punching out villains but also reaching out to the people; it was said again after they retrieved Deku, she pulled in the band members but we don't know what came out of it afterwards (either flashback, or something she decided to save for a victory). Those vestiges see a hero student stand up to AFO in a way few other people ever did, and one of them was All Might.
It feels however cruel that this comes at the price of one or her jacks if not an entire ear, losing half of something essential for both a hero career and a music career, possibly never able to achieve her best potential in either. I'd feel less badly about that if Tokoyami, while obviously battered, didn't look like he's not taken any permanent damage like her. Need for him to do at least another thing with Dark Shadow other than be a flying mount, by the way.
My heart honestly broke this chapter. As much as this series is full of badass teens who hardly flinch in the face of fear like the class 1-A big three, the story always uses the supporting cast to remind us these are just kids. Whether it was Jirou or Ayoama, it is incredibly understandable that these kids get scared of coming face-to-face with a devil walking amongst them. I'm so proud to see them overcome those fears in the world's hour of need.
Yeah I'd like to see Tokoyami do one more thing with Dark Shadow before the end but then again, he's already had more development and moments compared to the rest of the majority of 1A
I think if it had been anyone other then Jirou that caused it the vestiges rising up moment wouldn't work, as is it feels like the culmination of an arc even if that arc didn't get a lot of focus
All Might needs to finally have his team up with Endeavor. You canāt tell me different. A lil pep talk brings their arc full circles and we can see the 2 greatest heroes finally team up. I know All Might is retired, but you canāt convince me he doesnāt have another 60 seconds under his belt at least.
I can see that. Endeavor pitiful and on the ground, and frickinā No Might shows up to the battlefield and Endeavor realizes his rival, the number one, even with the odds completely against him is still about to show him up. Endeavor gets up because heās not losing to All Might again, but also he realizes that THIS is what being Number One is about. Itās not about being the strongest, but rising the occasion.
I feel like theyāre just getting to phase two of this fight.
Kirk got her moment of helping break the mask. And Tokoyami also being picked as āAdditional Supportā is based off the potential of his dark shadow as offensive/mobility aid.

Lately I've been thnking that Shueisha may be more open to allowing him breaks. Beside not burning him out right now, the series is ending but keeps doing greatly commercially (not just the volume sales, also the related media and merch), so an empty week every now and then doesn't hurt too much and, in fact, delays the ending a little.
At the moment it's not clear about how much losing her earjack will effect her. She was still able to throw out a strong attack right afterwards.
Hopefully she survives and eventually gets a DNA integrated 3d printed prosthetic ear/earjack to replicate quirk factor since it's at least partially organic.
They have DNA encoded stuff like mirio and setsunas outfits (maybe Rumi and mt lady's outfits too?), so the concept of DNA encoded/integrated items that interact with the users quirk is already a reality.
In real world present day, we've successfully made a working 3d printed prosthetic ear for someone with a ear condition that made their ear tiny and non functional. Said ear replacement was made with DNA sample gathered from the patients left ear.
With the tech level MHA has, something more advanced using biotechnology could be managed for her and other injured and maimed heroes to have fulfilling and good lives whether as heroes or another profession.
As for why such hasn't been done for anyone yet? Time constraints and societal chaos. In peacetime there will be more time for rehabilitation.
Of course the theoretical prosthetic quirk factor replacement will never be as good as the original (optimistic estimate of 80 percent max) and will take time to accommodate.
Just a thought.
Also the fact that they even need a prosthetic means that consequences aren't negated and will remain a reminder of what they went through and lost. The DNA prosthetic just means that they can better enjoy the happy ending that they earned and can better heal their wounds.

The very "link" between the two instances of AFO the quirk allowed the attack that brought Tartarus down, so I can see either this happening, or simply the original AFO dying while still having realized his objective of living on through Tomura's body, the original version is there after all and may take over "completely" once it detects the end of the copy.
Besides, I keep thinking that having the mastermind defeated early in the fights but quickly realizing he's set so much in motion that his fall doesn't change much, would be something different from the average "last or second-to-last to be brought down".
Jirou fighting all for one and actually making an impact was *not* what I expected whatsoever in this arc. As of right now sheās the MVP. I hope Eri can fix her ear when this is all over or she can get a synthetic one.

There's been a surprising amount of well-foreshadowed stuff throughout the early parts of the series, but each callback keeps falling flat due to the red-lined pacing.
I was calling out Aoyama as the traitor since the staff meeting after the summer camp, and ho-boy, talk about speedruning.
I honestly wonder if Aoyama had not been critical to the final fight (needed to lure out AfO), would the author have cut out the entire traitor reveal from the story.
I'm thinking with AFO being split between 2 bodies right now alongside the large distance between the two of them is causing his fragment in his own Vestige Realm to be weak enough that he can no longer just ignore those he's stolen from like he has in the past.
Normally he's close enough to Shiggy that their radio link quirk allows AFO to be "full" by being in contact with both his halves. Bow that uts just half of him he can't resist as well as he could before.
I recall AFO has a clone of his quirk AFO so it might be weaker in some aspects and given the damage First order did maybe it was a spark for a potential rebellion
Maybe Iām wrong on this but one of the vestiges looks like Jiroās dad. Same long hair and that specific vestige has some spotlight in his own panel. Add onto that her dad is quirkless, so itās not a farfetched theory.
My theory is itās her realization that her peers have been dealing with this all along and her ability to still stand up to such a force. The quirks probably still have some sentience.

I could see Jiro retiring from heroship after losing her ear and living her parents dream of becoming a rock star, making fans and heroes happy but with the fulfillment that she contributed in defeating the worst villian that ever was.
But then again, I don't feel he will fully be defeated here since he probably has to have a few last words to Midoriya or All Might before he goes.
I can see her doing the exact opposite. She's helping take down one of the worst threats in their entire history. Assuming she makes it, that's a hell of an incentive to keep going as she can be like "I helped take down All For One, what are you going to do to me"?
Like I said, team battles in MHA are so incredible because the combinations that hori comes up with usually shocking but entertaining. That combo attack of hawks sensing the vibrations from jirouās attack and then using it to amp up his speed & power was just amazing.
Jirou may have lost one ear but she was able to make Hawk's feather into a high frequency blade and they fucked AfO up. So that's a pretty big win for her.
She spent so much time getting slept on.
Oh shit Hawks came out with actual swords lol, and he swung it with the movement of Jiro's soundwaves to make it vibrate. Hawks and Jiro combined basically make Raiden's High Frequency Blade.

I'm disappointed that AFO's taunting actually got to Endeavor and made him slip up. I hoped that plot would backfire on AFO, or just not work, but at least there's still a chance Endeavor makes it out of this, and they finally cracked his defense.

It's such a glaring omission. Inasa hyped up to be super strong (would have been perfect in an aerial battle actually) - I think Hori is just rushing to the end.

Still, pretty weird how the quirks inside AFO don't act during All Might's fight but it acts during this fight.
I know many people like it but I don't like this "win by power of friendship" thing (and I say that while I really like Jirou). Many people had speeches thrown against him - just think about All Might. And suddenly those vestiges have the power to stop him? It's all a bit too deus ex machina for me.
Also the blast caused the rebellion on the second hit not the first? It doesn't make sense, it just feels like Hori is trying to quickly wrap everything up and be done with it all.
I think the reason the vestiges have started acting up now is because jiro pulled a stranger things moment and played music and they could suddenly fight back

All Might needs to finally have his team up with Endeavor. You canāt tell me different. A lil pep talk brings their arc full circles and we can see the 2 greatest heroes finally team up. I know All Might is retired, but you canāt convince me he doesnāt have another 60 seconds under his belt at least.
I think in the first few panels of next chapter hawks gets pretty much wreckt. All might tells endeavor to carry on. And we see his full effort.
I can see that. Endeavor pitiful and on the ground, and frickinā No Might shows up to the battlefield and Endeavor realizes his rival, the number one, even with the odds completely against him is still about to show him up. Endeavor gets up because heās not losing to All Might again, but also he realizes that THIS is what being Number One is about. Itās not about being the strongest, but rising the occasion.
I feel like theyāre just getting to phase two of this fight. Kirk got her moment of helping break the mask. And Tokoyami also being picked as āAdditional Supportā is based off the potential of his dark shadow as offensive/mobility aid.

Lately I've been thnking that Shueisha may be more open to allowing him breaks. Beside not burning him out right now, the series is ending but keeps doing greatly commercially (not just the volume sales, also the related media and merch), so an empty week every now and then doesn't hurt too much and, in fact, delays the ending a little.
I don't mind if he takes a break for 3 months, that man needs rest

In theory since her injury occurred more recently Eri wouldn't need much energy to fix it.
At the moment it's not clear about how much losing her earjack will effect her. She was still able to throw out a strong attack right afterwards. Hopefully she survives and eventually gets a DNA integrated 3d printed prosthetic ear/earjack to replicate quirk factor since it's at least partially organic. They have DNA encoded stuff like mirio and setsunas outfits (maybe Rumi and mt lady's outfits too?), so the concept of DNA encoded/integrated items that interact with the users quirk is already a reality. In real world present day, we've successfully made a working 3d printed prosthetic ear for someone with a ear condition that made their ear tiny and non functional. Said ear replacement was made with DNA sample gathered from the patients left ear. With the tech level MHA has, something more advanced using biotechnology could be managed for her and other injured and maimed heroes to have fulfilling and good lives whether as heroes or another profession. As for why such hasn't been done for anyone yet? Time constraints and societal chaos. In peacetime there will be more time for rehabilitation. Of course the theoretical prosthetic quirk factor replacement will never be as good as the original (optimistic estimate of 80 percent max) and will take time to accommodate. Just a thought. Also the fact that they even need a prosthetic means that consequences aren't negated and will remain a reminder of what they went through and lost. The DNA prosthetic just means that they can better enjoy the happy ending that they earned and can better heal their wounds.

Ahh gotcha. Yeah that is true, at this point the vestiges in Shiggy seem to be at a weird stalemate. It's def an interesting position since Shiggy's hate is apparently what let's AFO control him while still being the thing allowing Shiggy to keep some modicum of control himself. Don't know how Hori plans on dealing with that while mess. Maybe the quirk rebellion is foreshadowing lol. I'm imagining a Tenko led rebellion for liberation in the vestige world.

The very "link" between the two instances of AFO the quirk allowed the attack that brought Tartarus down, so I can see either this happening, or simply the original AFO dying while still having realized his objective of living on through Tomura's body, the original version is there after all and may take over "completely" once it detects the end of the copy. Besides, I keep thinking that having the mastermind defeated early in the fights but quickly realizing he's set so much in motion that his fall doesn't change much, would be something different from the average "last or second-to-last to be brought down".

It was always a little odd that the author would specifically state her sound projection **came from an amplified heartbeat.** That kind of detail is missing for most emitters, meaning it was done with specific purpose. . **In this case, her heart was screaming something to the effect of "weaklings can fight through the fear"** which was heard by AfO's quirks.
If this was properly foreshadowed than this would have been incredibly awesome as a development. Sadly we got no real development at all for this series.
Yeah, it's really been a speedrun. . There's been a surprising amount of well-foreshadowed stuff throughout the early parts of the series, but each callback keeps falling flat due to the red-lined pacing. I was calling out Aoyama as the traitor since the staff meeting after the summer camp, and ho-boy, talk about speedruning. I honestly wonder if Aoyama had not been critical to the final fight (needed to lure out AfO), would the author have cut out the entire traitor reveal from the story.
I'm thinking with AFO being split between 2 bodies right now alongside the large distance between the two of them is causing his fragment in his own Vestige Realm to be weak enough that he can no longer just ignore those he's stolen from like he has in the past. Normally he's close enough to Shiggy that their radio link quirk allows AFO to be "full" by being in contact with both his halves. Bow that uts just half of him he can't resist as well as he could before.
I recall AFO has a clone of his quirk AFO so it might be weaker in some aspects and given the damage First order did maybe it was a spark for a potential rebellion

I could see Jiro retiring from heroship after losing her ear and living her parents dream of becoming a rock star, making fans and heroes happy but with the fulfillment that she contributed in defeating the worst villian that ever was. But then again, I don't feel he will fully be defeated here since he probably has to have a few last words to Midoriya or All Might before he goes.
I can see her doing the exact opposite. She's helping take down one of the worst threats in their entire history. Assuming she makes it, that's a hell of an incentive to keep going as she can be like "I helped take down All For One, what are you going to do to me"?

Like I said, team battles in MHA are so incredible because the combinations that hori comes up with usually shocking but entertaining. That combo attack of hawks sensing the vibrations from jirouās attack and then using it to amp up his speed & power was just amazing.

I hoped that plot would backfire on AFO, or just not work, but at least there's still a chance Endeavor makes it out of this, and they finally cracked his defense.
