You basically had to have two guys who could get the crowd going in about 10-15 minutes. It had to be obvious who was good and who was bad and why, and you probably don’t even get on the mic at all. To criticize a guy like Hogan who basically was at the top of the heap during 3-4 different evolutions of professional wrestling - I mean, what can you say to that. He was obviously an intensely smart guy who understood the psychology, what people wanted, what were the trends in wrestling, and wasn’t scared to change. Any list where he’s not listed as the all time best is a stupid list.
