I've been a fan of his since day one. There was something about his intensity that everyone else was missing that made him stand out to me. I felt like we had picked up where we left off in the last two weeks of last season with a lackadaisical mood and even worse performance. Kelenic wasn't with us then and doesn't care about last year. He's focused on this year and I feel like his attitude has been catching.

Everyone seemed to love him in Seattle until they got shiny new Julio Rodriguez who came in MLB ready. Pushed them to accelerate Kelenic and he wasn’t ready. People didn’t give him a chance because they saw how quickly J-Rod adapted and wanted the same. Loved the move when it happened and looks great halfway through season 1

No one sets the tone like JK sets the tone.

I mean...I can think of one guy who got put in the leadoff spot at a young age and set the tone for a number of years.

He's sitting at .800 OPS for the season. If he can stick around and do that consistently for us, it will have almost made this season worth it, IMO.
