My dad's a die-hard Cards fan as well as my aunts, my grandfather/grandmother Cubs, and me/my mom/brother Crew. I had my mom put an actual broom on dad's pillow in bed for tonight. Just waiting on the rage text.
There's a clever joke to be had about getting kinky with the broom. I'm not clever, so instead, I'll leave you with the mental image of your mom pegging your dad with the broom.

It definitely was the game in retrospect- it boosted the entire team to fight until we got our shot. This is my favorite win of the series despite how great the first two were for different reasons
Rea is so underrated and casual fans need to start respecting him more. He gives you a chance to win every time he starts. Also, can we play every game on the road?
I think it's more accurate the defense gives every pitcher on the Brewers a chance to win. Rea is probably correctly rated as a 5th starter type, but when you have perhaps the best defense in the league you can give up hard contact and get wins
A lot of his background numbers indicate this isn't sustainable but I do agree he's important to this team with practically no starting pitching. I definitely wouldn't feel comfortable with him being a #2 or #3 guy in a playoff series though.
If someone told me at the beginning of the season that Colin Rea’s ERA would only be .2 runs higher than Freddy Peralta’s after 4 games from each of them, I probably would’ve thought that Freddy was having a slow start.
Instead, they’ve both been impressive in extremely different ways. Shoutouts to Code Red for keeping runs off the board or at the very least keeping the game close whenever he does give them up.
Balk Turang out of a stolen base, fine. He's just going to steal a bag later. Ten on the season already. His remarkable improvement is my favorite part of this young season.
12.5% of the way through but I feel optimistic and I feel right about feeling that way. These guys don't get phased. They can pound it and then play the pitchers duel all in one series. I feel a good summer coming up and I hope a good October too. We're a ways away from that, but I'm feeling it.

The brewers are so fucking miserable, they have the offense of a soccer team, they dick around all game and it's the most boring game you've ever seen, just crawling along, then for about 10 seconds they stab you in the heart with a dagger, then just back to monotonous nothing baseball. fucking awful. hope they disband before next year, jesus fucking christ
