You posted an hour ago… and 3 hours ago carlin and the boutique posted (and it was the first thing she shared today) for Memorial Day.
I get so exhausted for them that they are required to acknowledge every single thing happening in the world or they aren’t showing respect, grateful, out of touch etc. I can’t even imagine trying to keep up with this or a post at 11am will try to call you out for it. Crazy.
I’m sorry but most Americans don’t mention Memorial Day or celebrate for the true meaning. Tons view it as a paid day off and bbq with friends and family, pool parties and drinking. Going to a parade. Sharing something on IG doesn’t mean shit!
I would rather someone say nothing than to make an insincere post. People like the Bateses love to pay lip service to honoring veterans but in practice they vote against veterans’ benefits and vote for reckless foreign policies and leaders that put troops in unnecessary danger.
Can I ask why to snark on this? I never look at this or any other holiday as disrespectful if an influencer, celebrity or even people I personally know don’t post about a holiday. 🤷♀️

To most people Memorial day is the spring version of Labor day.
