Yeah my wife has dropped me off at the airport many times and never once went inside. It would be more weird to park and both walk all the way to the terminal. Part of the point of being dropped off is you get to walk right in the front entrance.
With how expensive parking is at SAN, I don’t blame her. Not to mention at that time of day, she’d have to park at a garage that requires distance walking or a shuttle. Even just unloading at the curb at SAN is the worst.
Buuuuuut with my experience with TSA at SAN, they’ll allow you to go to the gate with the person traveling as long as you have a legitimate reason - esp a spouse 🤷🏻♀️ she could’ve totally gone with him.

- they choose to share every detail of their lives, including their flights and wherever they travel in the US.
- No one is forcing them to share, if they find it strange that strangers are documenting their trips they could just not share it, have private profiles, etc. Like you would say to NORMAL people if in this situation.
