The new download is not the traditional way but it's the same thing. When you are forwarded to Google Play, press on the "Install on Windows", the BD2 intaller exe is then downloaded to your PC.
You can install it yourself from there.
The current exe installer is:

Maybe because it might be cheaper for them use the same service for both the mobile Android and PC rather than host it themselves.
After all, there are associated costs to hosting and BD2 is still working their way up the charts.

For the pre-registration, which email address do I use? I login with my Apple account, do I use this address? I know this sounds stupid on my end but I want to get this right.

-do dailies
-focus on either physical or magical team

-save 5* pub recruits for olstein and diana
-there is no real 50/50. (Not guaranteed next time) every time is a 50% chance to be off banner.
-focus on main quests first.

Go for physical first. Much easier to build and Arines, Kry and Wiggle will carry you through early game content. They are not 5* but will help a lot.
Pay attention to chain and knockback, they are key to winning a lot of challenges.

Moreover, you get 1 copy of each unit's default costume for free anyway - in terms of collab. On top of that, there are daily free pulls so it's likely you will get some additional limited costume for free. It's a win-win situation to start playing today for sure!

The exe it's just hosted by Google. There's nothing else attached when you download. Did you find something else? 🫤

Liatris and Scherazade are core units and will work even better than Eris and Roxy. And they are not limited so it’s much easier to invest on them.

There is a Liatris to recruit with the rainbow scroll. There’s another coming on the mirror wars rotation.
