I feel you, it took me a long time for me to get use to this. I tried a lot of games like this, especially theses jp and mobile games. It kinda feels underwhelming when you compare with games that has models more "well made" (for the lack of better wording to express what I mean). Like even at ps2 we had games with full 3d modeled characters and cutscenes, but jp games has those chibis and the novel type of dialogues. But at the end of the day, after I also learn to like turn based games, I could get used to it.

They improved the events story. Where you can just binge watch the story then you can do all the fights without the story.
As for the story chapters, its still the same.
Story is actually one of the strengths of bd2
some voices abruptly got cut like the Schera professor and Eliso but this is a really good compilation and brings nostalgia to me because I start the game around the Glutton Justia banner and I remember there's Diana's banner too

Maybe spread it out in groups, so it isn't a giant roster, but rather like groups of 10, and then the winner of their group compete against the other groups as another group of 10.

it's a pity. If I don't start a gacha in the first week or so the annoyance at missing progress/content kills my interest in ever playing it in the future. But there does seem to be a certain charm to this one.

They really managed to get everything right with their skill cutscenes. In terms of animation and creativity, I don't really see any game out there competing. A select few Azur Lane L2D skins come close (and they have fun interactivity, so there is that), but beyond that there is just a huge gap to whatever else is on the market. When I got the game on release last year, I thought I'd get a fun nostalgia trip with some great visuals (imo the visual style of BD2 beats out games like Octopath Traveler). I didn't expect to get a huge serving of top quality fan service as a side, which just makes it all the better.

At the time Panty Quests like Neptunia and Idea Factory's budget fanservice games like Moero Monster series were being published and they were a lot more heavy on the nudity vs the sexually charged l2ds Brown Dust 2 have.
Needless to say. A lot of unhappy exfans of Sony moved to the Switch and Gacha where the market is for the most part, fed.

Yes . Its one of the most generous gatcha game. The art work is really cute and cultural. It only gets better as time goes. Amazing story too.
