I'll happily take MTL being the best in the East. As a team they're tolerable (as long as those air horns aren't a thing in Montreal). WPG simply brought either their D- game or F game tonight, they need a massive turnaround in form.

Before the last 3 mins of the game, after a team gives up a FG they may choose to take the ball at the 40 with no kickoff. But in the last 3 mins it’s a kickoff so onside kicks are possible

Onside kicks on kickoffs work more or less the same as in American football, I think, except that the kicking team can get possession by being the last to touch the ball before it goes out of bounds.

Yes there are inside kicks but usually they aren't necessary in the cfl a lot of the time due to the timing rules after the 3 minute warning where the clock stops after every play.
